Great place to eat. Staff always go above and beyond to make sure my meal is gluten free. Celiac disease prevents me from eating out at many restaurants, but staff here is knowledgeable and very accommodating. I highly recommend!!! 😁

I ordered a Pad Thai, with no chicken and no egg and I asked for more vegetables since I'm a vegan. I also asked why the Pad Thai was listed as being not gluten free and was told it was because of the sauce and so they would use a gluten free sauce since I am gluten intolerant. My order was put in as "No meat" (see pictures) and there is no indication of extra vegetables or a different sauce. I just hope I don't have an allergic reaction. Intuition told me to check my order in the car and it's a good thing I did. It turned out I did not have any tofu which is a normal ingredient in the dish not an additional one. I went inside to explain that I was missing the tofu and the person who originally took my order avoided me, did not apologize or communicate to their manager what I had originally ordered. I was told that the tofu included was just a garnish and that because the note on the order said "no meat" that meant no tofu. I have been a vegan for almost 15 years and I was unaware that tofu constituted as being meat. Anyway, I wait for the new order containing tofu to be made which was not necessary because I just needed a handful of tofu. I do not check this second order until I get home and thank goodness I did not toss the original order because the second order contains what looks like chicken or egg which I do not eat. There is a clear lack of communication and accountability at play in this restaurant. However, I suppose it's my own fault for being disloyal to Chaiyos which is the best Thai restaurant in the area.
