Great place to eat. Staff always go above and beyond to make sure my meal is gluten free. Celiac disease prevents me from eating out at many restaurants, but staff here is knowledgeable and very accommodating. I highly recommend!!! 😁

Literally the best service I’ve ever had in my life. Gordon went above and beyond to fix my Uber eats order which was not by any means the restaurants fault, but he hooked me up with everything gluten free and was sweeter than I could have ever asked for. Very good food and good service. Prepared my allergy sensitive meal separately in the kitchen, but I still got to enjoy the showmanship of the chef at the grill. If they offered gluten free soy sauce and gluten free teriyaki sauce then I would rate it with five stars.

This has always been my go to for sushi in Knoxville. That said, there seems to have been a staff turnover recently and I am not impressed. I was charged an additional fee for an item listed on the menu that comes with the meal and told by a server that she couldn't remove the additional charge that came on my bill. I had to get a manager involved to assist. I was also told they were out of tamari (gluten free soy sauce) and then the manager found a full bottle in the back after I had finished my meal. Tighten up Nama or you will lose your loyal customers.

Wow! Where do I start?! Kaizen has been a staple for my family since they opened. The food, service, and atmosphere land up there with the best restaurants in Knoxville. During our most recent dining experience, we started out with a few steamed buns (a must have as a light appetizer!). We had the Bang Bang Shrimp, Tai Sausage, and Seared cured shiitake mushrooms. While they were all amazing (as always), we tend to gravitate to the Tai Sausage quite frequently, but you really can't go wrong. We followed the steamed buns with the Fried Shrimp w/ Bang Bang Fried Rice, Szechuan Fried Pork, and the Duck Noodle Soup. It's really hard to rate the menu items as we try something new every time we go and have always been extremely satisfied. The service is second to none and the staff is always extremely friendly. They have a great selection of Sake and other beverages and the staff is always willing to point you in the right direction. I would highly recommend Kaizen to anyone. Whether you have a tendency to be picky, have allergies such as gluten, or anything else that might be holding you back, Kaizen has an option for you. Check it out, you won't regret it!
