Yassin's Falafel House

I love this place. And maybe my review will change next time I visit. The cashier rolled her eyes when my aunt who has celiac asked about menu items. I had told her how friendly this place was. Oops. Then it just seemed like no one was happy that day. Food was okay. Off day I guess. I will go back because I know it's a good place to eat.

I've been hearing several friends talk about this spot and I'm glad I finally visited. Yassin's did not disappoint me. I was so excited to see "plant based protein" on the menu that was soy based rather than gluten (I'm supposed to be avoiding gluten). The Veggie platter was delicious. I did however have to swap out the white sauce and the baba ganoush for hummus and tahini as formers have dairy. I would suggest them offering another kind of sauce or tabuleh or something though, that would be nice. Our meals came with a drink which I was not expecting and just made my experience here even better.
