What a beautiful place! The food is excellent, as is the service. The team there is so warm and friendly, you truly feel like family. We had a group of five adults who were all equally as pleased with their choices as the next. One, is a vegetarian and he was absolutely transported by the deliciousness of his choice (falafel wrap, with veggies) and loaded fries. I had the lamb skewers with pilaf and salad. The lamb was tender and seasoned beautifullly. Another of us has Celiac disease and was easily accommodated. The pita was fresh and plentiful. The tzatziki was perfect. The grape leaves were savory and delicious... I wish I'd had enough sense to take photos, but we just started eating and didn't stop. Get the Turkish coffee! I'm serious. It's the best I've ever had. Not bitter, not muddy. Just wonderful!
We intended to return before we left, but time was not on our side. However, we will return when next anywhere in the vicinity of this restaurant!
Oh! I bought some of the coffee they used for their Turkish Coffee. It's from Utica Coffee. I'm looking forward to trying it soon. Be sure to try one of the little candies present at the checkout. They are delicious, too! Should have bought some when I was there. Mistake not to have!
Be sure to visit. You will be so happy you did.
