I've come all the way from Storrs in eastern CT for this place, three or four times. However. This past time may be my last. I have never been questioned as to why I ask for a table for four, even though it was my party of two when the dining room had PLENTY of empty tables. I have orthopedic issues and shouldn't have experienced the waitress questioning me "incredulously"..."You need four seats for two people?" Umm. Yes. For ortho reasons I shouldn't have to explain. I also shouldn't have had to deal with SAME waitress scoffing audibly when it became evident I do try to avoid carbs like rice or pasta. Really? Was my request for mixed greens instead of rice as a base with my ahi tuna so difficult? I was told "no substitutions" and got an attitude. Anyone who modifies gluten or carbs, stay away.
