There is so much to say about Charhause!! First, I was welcomed into their bakery with open arms. My barista asked me my name and she put it to memory, making every visit, thereafter, feel a little more welcoming! You truly matter when you enter their establishment. Their lattes are elite! I have tried a few different flavors and all of them have exceeded my expectations. My husband and I are obsessed with their build-your-own breakfast sandwiches and their chocolate, chocolate chippee cookies. Recently, I ordered a birthday cake for a friend with a gluten and dairy sensitivity and they did an INCREDIBLE job!! Everyone loved it- the texture was perfect and so chocolatey!! I gave them creative freedom with the few ideas I had in mind, and, again, they exceeded all expectations. Stopped by here while visiting family in the area. It's difficult for me to find quality gluten free items at home, so I try to stop at places when I have the chance. It is FANTASTIC and I can't wait to stop by again. The whoopie pie--- AMAZING. Next time I will absolutely stock up on those. The cookies were excellent, and I'm looking forward to the biscuits. I was able to freeze almost everything. Yes, a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for in this case and it is QUALITY and absolutely worth it for me. As someone who cannot eat gluten without getting sick (non-celiac), I'm not sure how this place doesn't already have 5 stars. These are the best gf cupcakes I've ever had and trust me, I've had a lot of GF desserts. Even my brother who can eat gluten said they dont taste gf, thats how good they are. The salted caramel chocolate chip cookies are phenomenal too.

This place is fantastic for the gluten free community! It is a completely gluten free restaurant and the food was delicious! They make their own tortillas and we had the churros and fried ice cream for dessert and it brought me back to my childhood. Tried this place the other day - super tasty and clean food! Love that everything is vegan, gluten free, and I think most of it (or all?) is organic. I’d be back frequently, but I live over 2 hours away. I wish I lived closer or that there was healthier restaurants like this near me. I will absolutely stop by again if in the area.
I will say it was on the pricey end for me (we got a taco bowl, a sandwich, 3 beverages, and a mini muffin for $60), but I’m not from the area nor do I usually spend that much eating out, including at plant-based places local to me. If you’re from Ridgefield or surrounding areas you might not find it expensive, though… it’s all relative. Plus, you’re getting top quality clean food.

Four of us had a great lunch today. We were served by Taylor who was friendly and knowledgeable. One in our party needs to be gluten-free and Taylor was very helpful in letting her know what specific items could be made gluten-free. I had a turkey burger and I don’t order it restaurants because it’s usually dry and tasteless. But the turkey burger was seasoned, moist and delicious. Three of us had the eggplant fries which were a real treat. We will return soon.
