Make reservations well in advance! This location was near the London Palladium where we were seeing a show. It is very important to note that Dishoom is very serious about allergens, but not all locations have the same dishes. The Carnaby location is a bit limited on its GF entree choices. Because of my husband’s many preferences plus GF needs, he felt his only choice was the Mutton Pepper Fry, which ended up being tender and delicious. There were more side and small plates that were GF or could be modified. The Carnaby location is in a bustling pedestrian area that is bustling with bars, pubs, and shopping. Our reservation was early so we had time to walk through Carnaby and into Piccadilly before our show. Specific note: if you have airborne wheat allergies, the bathrooms are in the basement and you must walk through the naan baking section and flour is abundant. It’s cool to watch unless you’re allergic.

Went here as they did gluten free fish n chips (everyday, all day). Good portion sizes. Prices are amazing compared to London prices. Not far from the beach either.

Cute place but very tiny and questionable kitchen space. Came for the gluten free pancakes and was exceedingly disappointed- not good and tasted a bit like uncooked meringue. The regular pancakes looked fine and my friend said they were okay but not anywhere close to the ones we had in Japan. Wait staff didn’t even inquire as to why we were leaving fully untouched portions. Paid our bill and went somewhere else for breakfast.

I cant believe I had never been to Flat Iron before. What a meal! Not overpriced at all, and delicious. I have gluten and dairy allergies and Taylor was amazing and very patient explaining the options I had. Everyone working there had the nicest attitude.

What a lovely cafe! Warm welcome and lovely staff. Exceptional food - the cheese toastie with soup was delicious and the perfect comfort food after a lovely hike around Grasmere in the rain. A really good fish and chip restaurant. Nice welcome from the front of house lady, who made sure we were aware of the seasonal special offer and the substantial savings available on a small selection of meals. Eat in or take away. The fish, we chose hake, had a really crispy batter and the beef dripping came through nicely. The small chip portion was plenty. Do go for the mushy peas as here they are properly done and generously served. All in all one of the best fish and chip suppers I have had. There are some vegetarian options and gluten free versions too. Parking is good as is access.

Awesome gluten free pancake, it tasted like a real gluten full pancake! If your celiac , warning! The gluten full pancakes are made in the same pan as the gluten free pancakes! They have tons of vegan options too. And the staff is super friendly ☺️

I have been here twice. On both occasions I had excellent food and service. Pancakes are delicious and had variety of toppings both sweet and savoury. Overnight oats were also delicious. They have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Highly recommended.

As someone who is gluten intolerant, it was a joy to find that Saltwater Fish & Chips will cook your fish of choice in gluten free batter, and we have to say it was delicious. Light and crispy and not at all greasy, and my wifes' comment was that it was better even than the usual gluten batter that she would have. Sadly I was unable to get the recipe for the batter mix, so I guess we'll have to just keep returning. Well done, and thank you for your kind and friendly service, you made our day.

Yummy food and great service. Choose your base, crepes, American Pancakes, omelette, savoury or sweet, gluten free ,vegan. Was able to choose high protein meal enabling me to stay on my eating plan whilst out. Gorgeous food and great service. Will definately be back

Had fabulous Gluten Free Cod and Chips from here. The fish was really fresh, cooked to perfection and piping hot. They have a dedicated fryer for the GF Cod and separate utensils for serving. Gluten Free vinegar was available and the meal was served with a wedge of lemon and a pot of tartar sauce. The staff are knowledgeable about Gluten Free and the boxes had stickers on them aswell 😋

Crowded, when we finally got a table, decided what to order, the waiter saod no gluten free pizza. Although the menu specifically said all of their pizzas are gluten free. Such a dissapoitment. We walked for two miles to get gluten free pizza. Very sad.

Traditional fish and chips in a friendly, welcoming place. My wife has coeliac and the owner couldn't have done more for her. The gluten free batter on her fish was just as crisp and golden as my regular portion. Excellent experience all round, will definitely come again!!

Been here many times for the GF fish and chips which I have always raved about. Since I last went it seems to have changed hands. Ordered it today and when it came out I asked for GF vinegar. Guy looked puzzled as to why I requested it then said they hadn't made mine GF, despite him being the one who took my order and only 2 other people in the whole place so not busy. Luckily I asked for the vinegar as someone with Coeliac disease would have been very poorly. I then had to wait while they cooked mine so my husband started eating without me. Meal used to come with a side salad but ours didn't today. Unfortunately not impressed and won't look to return. Please be very careful if you are a Coeliac as previously they have been so careful about that.

Fantastic spot for dinner! The menu had great variety, including plenty of gluten-free options—which was a big reason we chose it. The space is beautiful, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We didn’t need a reservation, but since it’s a smaller restaurant, it’s probably smart to book ahead. Highly recommend!

I had The most amazing gluten free take away pizza last night, I wish I'd taken a picture! Onion rings, scampi, pizza, banana fritters.. The gf menu is immense! And it's all delicious!

Been here twice now because they do a gluten free breakfast. We were unsure at first about having to queue to get in but now I know why there is a queue in the first place! The food is absolutely delicious, made with good quality fresh ingredients. It's difficult to find a nice gluten free breakfast so I'm glad we gave Grand Central Kitchen a try. Also the staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. 100% recommend. 👌
