The restaurant was quite empty when we came but we had a great experience. Staff were the perfect combination of attentive but giving you space. Food was delicious and caters for those who are vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free. So many different combinations can be ordered and it all tastes so good. Will definitely be visiting a Pieminster again;

Really enjoyed my visit to Cafe Neapolitan, I ordered a cooked breakfast along with a cup of tea. The potion size was big but they did not flag on the effort put in. The bread was hand made, which you could had the option of being gluten free. Also a choice of eggs, I went for scrambled which has added cooked onion which I though was a really nice touch. The cafe had a cosy atmosphere and the staff were friendly, I would defiantly recommend.

I am gluten free (coeliac) and the menu has been naturally gluten free when I've visited, making it a wonderful relaxing experience and no worrying about cross contamination. My son, who is coeliac and has a very severe reaction to gluten, was told that the cakes labelled may contain gluten would be ok because they didn’t contain “active” gluten. There aren’t two versions of gluten; active and inactive. Of course, he knew not to have one but newly diagnosed coeliacs might not. We went to the gelato shop just down the hill instead and they were very knowledgeable and helpful about gluten free food.

We had a lovely evening here last night with beautiful views and the sun out. The waiters were really helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and really well presented - we liked everything we picked. I particularly enjoyed the octopus, Thai chicken and prawns, having said that it was all really nice. Perfect for my friend with gluten intolerance too as all dishes we had we were gf. Can't wait to visit again!

We went to Frankie's Restaurant who shared this restaurant space. The food was fabulous and you wouldn't know it was gluten free!! So go try them out! Frankie's is a gluten free restaurant which serves Fried chicken & waffles with a choice of 4 different toppings. 2 of which were Buffalo sauce with blue cheese or Maple syrup, chilli jam with bacon butter both were delicious. Sorry can't remember the other toppings. There were also sides we chose red cabbage coleslaw, Frikles and million layer potato. They were also delicious. We did order any dessert as we were all too full. To drink we had local cider from Cheddar, local apple juice & a organic cola. There was 5 of us in our party, bill came around £114.00 which works out at £22.80 per person. Which I thought wasn't too much, especially as it's gluten free and gluten free foods you always pay more for. We booked our table, which they said they prefer so they know how many people to cater for & it's probably a good idea as the restaurant isn't very big. Would definitely go back, as our daughter is celiac. So eating out is a problem for her. As we're worried about cross contamination which means she's then ill for several days afterwards.

I was looking for somewhere nice to have a gluten free lunch on my own whilst I was visiting Bristol for the day. I discovered Kibou on a blog and wow - great experience. I haven't had deep fried chicken in years years due to my gf diet - I had some as a starter with siracha mayo and it was absolutely delicious! I followed that up with a chicken teriyaki. The service was great - friendly, down to earth and unpretentious, whilst sat in surroundings that felt upmarket. Would recommend.

Staff told us the cannoli were gluten free - I’m allergic to gluten - so he got me one. It wasn’t at all gluten free (made with wheat pastry). Fortunately I suspected this before tasting it - I returned it and asked staff to check again. This could have caused a serious allergic reaction - I fear for those with more serious allergies to nuts or milk that could be life threatening. The staff didn’t make much effort to recognise this - while they refunded it, all they said was “oh, sorry”. Please be careful - staff were approachable and it was sorted quickly, but if you have allergies, check the ingredients yourself.

Really appreciated they had gluten free Soy and a gluten free menu. Would have loved a bento box and katsu curry but as gluten free couldn't have those. Enjoyed sushi which was fresh and tasty. Service was great.

Have always wanted to visit this restaurant and it did not disappoint!! The food was absolutely delicious, I had a lamb mint sausage with mash and a side if carrots and parsnips and omg I could eat that again and again! The dessert was delicious too (we had a gluten free cheesecake) HIGHLY recommend!

We came here for our 1st wedding anniversary celebration. We booked well in advance and asked for a nice table for the special occasion, unfortunately this did not happen. We were on a rubbish table right next to the toilet, which was a shame. There were some lovely tables in the restaurant with nice views, romantic booths etc, however I do not believe the staff read our comment on booking and did not ensure we received a special table, which was disappointing. I wouldn’t come here again for a really special occasion, but would happily come for general dinner, or with friends etc. Food was really good and tasty, especially the salad which came with the shish (although it is slightly overpriced), food came out quickly. Staff were great and were also very good with allergies, gluten/dairy etc. The decoration was lovely and overall we had a nice time.

Had a fantastic meal at COR who catered brilliantly for gluten free (coeliac) requirements. Most of the menu can be adapted to be gluten free and staff were brilliant at communicating allergen information which made me feel at ease right away. They even had a lovely gluten free bread to enjoy with the appetisers. The food itself was excellent - seasonal Mediterranean inspired dishes which had so much flavour. The Tropea onion with gorgonzola and hazelnuts was divine! My favourite meal I've had in Bristol in a long time!

I popped in here for lunch with a friend. We wanted something different from the usual pub grub. This place is amazing, it is located underground in an arch, apparently at one time it was a wine vault. We hd the set lunch menu for 9.99 - 6 starters and a main with rice, superb value. The food was really tasty and the service was spot on! My friend has a dairy allergy and is gluten intolerant - this did not phase them and they swopped a few items around so she didn’t miss out. The Lebanese lager was delicious s well! Would highly recommend!

Stumbled upon this place and really enjoyed it! The cafe is a little small, therefore not a place to stay too long/work from. Good selection of drinks and food, and can cater for various dietary requirements, including vegan and gluten allergies. I'd happily visit again by myself or with a friend.

I tried their gluten free pizza after being recommended it by so many people. I have tried many of the gf pizzas available in Bristol and was really excited for this one after hearing such good things! I hope management will take my feedback in a positive manner and my suggestions on board perhaps. :) Firstly, the pizza came really fast. I ordered via a delivery app and it was with me in 15 minutes. So this aspect was great. Secondly their dough is delicious. Really tasty. They have got their recipe just right. The crusts were absolutely amazing and probably joint top with the best GF pizza crusts I’ve tried! However, the rest of the pizza (where the toppings are) was far too thick. Like double the thickness it should be, and it was not cooked properly. It was stodgy, thick and weighed a tonne in the box and in my stomach. I ate maybe two slices and then threw the rest of the pizza away, except for the crusts which I ate (they nailed this part). For a £20 pizza, this was quite upsetting. I am not someone who throws away food or wastes money if I can possibly help it. There was also way too much cheese, in my opinion. This added to the overall stodgy and heavy feeling of the pizza. It was more like a New York style, deep pan pizza and quite greasy too. Albeit I did order one with nduja so this was probably the reason for the greasiness. Again, I threw most of the greasy parts away as they were dripping with oil and I found that quite off putting. If I had known it would be a deep pan style pizza I would not have ordered since I don’t enjoy eating this much food in one go. I don’t feel good after and plus this base was so thick that it was very gummy, almost like it was raw dough. I think that most GF diners are on the more health conscious side of things. And are probably(??) hoping for a thin and crispier pizza, more like a regular pizza that is made with a wholewheat base. I’d like to suggest to management with full respect and appreciation of the craft that has gone into creating their delicious gluten free dough (I know it’s not easy), that they work to make the main base of the GF pizza much thinner. I think this would be more appealing to most customers and certainly to me. I wouldn’t try the gluten free pizza here again as it stands now but also, I know maybe my experience was a one off. And I stand by what I said about the crusts being the best I’ve tried! Joint with one GF pizza chain I tried in Madrid. I hope management take my comments with the respect with which I write them ❤️🙏🏼

3 out of 5 dishes we enjoyed and they dealt with it very very professionally when we mentioned something, we will give it another go and maybe order differently. I’d reccomend getting a plainer flavour dish to go with the rich ones which we didn’t do. I had an issue with freshness with one of the dishes but they assured me that it is all made fresh. Perhaps I’m in the wrong, perhaps not but it was all put right in the end and we will go back. Great for gluten free and has gf soy sauce.

I think this may be the only hotel in Bristol I'll stay in now! Beautifully decorated, super friendly and smiley staff who immediately stopped conversation with co-workers the minute we appeared which made us feel special! The room is big, the shower and bath too! The water pressure on the main shower wasn't great but the hand held one was fantastic. We had a plug malfunction, thought we were just being stupid but reception were fantastic in making sure we didn't feel silly & immediately sent maintenance up and less than half an hour later we had a new plug for the bath! We didn't have enough pillows but they were more than happy to accommodate and send more (but that's personal preference, you get your standard 2 pillows per person). Now, the breakfast...yes, it's your standard buffet BUT they have so many gluten free & dairy free/vegan options which was wonderful for my friend, instead of sticking to just fruit she could have a lot...including coffee with plant based milk!!! We were really really impressed & 100% recommend staying here - plus the streets outside are quiet so that's a bonus!

We came here last night as a group of 6. The atmosphere at Chido Wey is vibrant and the decoration really fun and aesthetic. For drinks, we ordered the pitcher of sangria and the pitcher of margarita. The barman who made our drinks was so friendly and kind, even suggesting we have separate glasses for each drink as the margarita glasses came with salted rims! For food, we ordered various mains. The carne-val tacos were the juiciest tacos I have ever had! A very messy main but worth it (albeit mine were a little cold), the flavour was yummy! The elote (Mexican street corn) is also delicious, but again, was a little cold! In terms of service, some other people have mentioned about the waitresses seeming a bit 'off'. Our party agreed that the waitresses did have a cavalier attitude towards us. The one lady with the micro-fringe was unable to identify what food was ours and kept getting the name wrong. As one of our party opted for a GF option, this was a little worrying (luckily the GF was a preference and not coeliac). When it came to the bill, they place a 12.5% service charge. We asked for this to be removed as a result of the mid service and no check back during our meal to see how everything was. Would we go back? Probably not. I think it's good to experience this restaurant but sometimes when places are over-hyped, they're not that amazing.
