Really nice visit to this after a meander down Bold Street. The food was great - I ended up having their soup, and the latte was great too. Chilled vibes, and such a wide selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. Reasonably priced too, with local artists’ artwork on display for sale too.
Only downside is it’s two floors up via a staircase, so if you have limited mobility or are wheelchair bound, I’m not sure how you’d get there (unless there’s a lift I missed!)
Really recommend giving them a visit - roughly a 10 minute walk from the Lime Street station.

We came here as the restaurant looks so nice. There were lots of empty tables but took so long to be seated. We explained my Mum was gluten free and they left a book of ingredients on our table with no explanation of what my Mum could order. To say the service is slow is an understatement. We waited ages for our drinks and food. My Mum's gluten free sandwich was dry, no butter and tasteless. We then waited so long for the bill I had to go up to the bar to pay. There are so many wonderful, quirky places to get here so I would most definitely NOT recommend Leaf.

We came on a Monday for bottomless. Abby was a lovely server! We managed about 10 cocktails (which is our record, and we are seasoned bottomless brunchers). The aperol spritzes were perfect and the food was so good for allergies (I'm gluten free!) I recommend the beef burger. I’ve visited Freida Mo's a few times because their offerings are genuinely excellent. The vintage goods are beautifully curated and even carry a fantastic selection of kids’ items, a 10/10 for me as a new mum! And the cookies are absolutely delicious *chefs kiss*. As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciate having safe options available.
Unfortunately, the service has been consistently off. Some of the staff members can be rather snappy and rude at times. I’ve waited twenty minutes for a drink when it has been empty inside, and on my most recent visit, I tried to go in when both the door sign and Google said they were open, only to be shooed away. They could easily have come out and told me they weren’t ready, but being turned away like that felt especially odd in Liverpool, a city known for its warmth and hospitality. Whenever I crave a cookie now, I ask my husband to order it for me.
