Super aware staff. As soon I mentioned needing gluten free food, they knew exactly what they needed to do and the range of options was much wider than I am used to finding.
I had the Seafood Chowder and it was really good. Looking at other dishes being prepared, you would be amazed at the attention to detail in the presentation.
Highly recommend Trenchers.

Love the fact that I could just ask for gluten free options and they have it and that they know what gluten intolerance is. Very tiny but packed. The cake was amazing and so was the scone. Gluten free options available.

Ordered a vegetarian hot dog, got served a meat hot dog. Only came here as daughter is coeliac so wanted to go somewhere which sounded like they took care over what they feed people, but was beyond disappointed with this experience which left me feeling sick for a long while after having eaten some of the mince before realising it was in fact meat which I’ve not eaten for 26 years!
Very unapologetic just an attitude of ‘it is what it is’. Everyone’s meals were slammed down on the table. People who ordered a special which came with bread and butter and a hot drink didn’t get the bread and butter ‘as they didn’t ask for it!’ - asking to be given the rest of what was ordered and paid for resulted in an argument with the waitress where we were made to feel like we were asking for something extra and virtually made to plead for it! Absolutely ridiculous really. Awful attitude and terrible customer service. Would never return!
