I am gluten-free because I have Celiac Disease. My enchilada was delicious but I was sad that the chips are cooked in a shared fryer so I could not have any of them. What is Mexican food without chips and salsa? I wish I could have had the fried ice cream also. It would be nice if restaurants would figure out how to cater to dietary restrictions better. When your choices go from a huge front and back menu to 10 items total, you do not want to go back to that restaurant.

We purchased cake bites a gluten-free cupcake and suckers.
Number one the gluten-free cupcake is just like any other cupcake. Good enough for gluten-free needs.
The suckers were great the kids loved them.
The cake bites however the chocolate was more on the dry side and the chocolate was waxy and tasted stale. Definitely not my favorite. The fairy fetti one I feel bad saying this but I spit it out after a few chews. The flavor was very off. It did not taste of vanilla or like a sprinkle cupcake type of flavor. It was so off, I couldn't finish it. I spit it out and now I have cake bites that I don't know what to do with. Unfortunately very disappointed and I would not recommend them. I wish I could say good things because it is a very cute little shop.

Cafe Sabor has always been a favorite place of mine. I especially loved the cheese enchiladas however, the last time I went, they had changed their enchilada sauce to a different gluten free sauce. I should have sent my meal back. Imagine my disappointment, expecting my favorite enchiladas but getting the worst enchiladas I've ever had. I learned that all Cafe Sabor locations are making this change. I won't be going back and I'm so sad. I wish they would offer original sauce AND gluten free. That would solve the problem but it's most likely not going to happen. I'm searching for a new place to go.
