What a treat!! They fried the donut to order then glazed it hot… what?! So amazing! I haven’t had a donut (not a crappy cake donut anyways) in over 10 years since my celiac diagnosis. Amazing. Order ahead and pick up because street parking sucks but SO worth it, and the calories.

Solid burger place and the ice cream is good too, especially the peanut butter flavor. Friendly staff, good service. Just remember: cash only (I can only imagine how many times a day the guy taking the order has to break the news to customers as they stare back with a confused look on their face). Gluten free buns are a big plus!

My daughter and I loved everything about this restaurant. The service was terrific. The tables had beautiful, colorful coverings. The food was amazing and almost everything is gluten free! I had an arepa with chicken salad, it comes topped with creamy shredded gouda. She had the chicken empanadas, which were crispy and delicious. I can't wait to return and try more dishes.

The atmosphere is pretty nice. Food was good, I was told that everything was gluten free, but since I got home I’ve had hives and a stomach ache. Not sure if it’s food poisoning or gluten contamination, but might have to see a doctor. Be cautious if you have celiac. Update: no reply from the company. I did end up in the hospital. Would not recommend.

Vegan and gluten-free options are only halfway worked out -- available but not delicious. It turns out I had been served a meal that was not gluten-free at a prior visit. The server's timing delayed our meals being served together. The host didn't have the character to accept responsibility when he inquired as to how things worked out. I will definitely think twice before dining here again.

An upscale take on a typical Israeli hummus and skewers restaurant. You'll share a huge number of veggie apps for the table, with as many refills as you want, and then everyone orders a main dish (which you can also share). We were blown away by the fish, but underwhelmed but the cauliflower. Great attention to allergies and lots of gluten free options. Like the apps, dessert is also included with the main course. We ended up spending surprisingly less than expected.

I am a new lover of Veda! After coming here with a friend over the weekend I decided to return for lunch this week. I was so happy to find out they had specials for restaurant week! The fish pakora was so good I literally wrote home to mom about it! As someone with dietary restrictions finding a place to eat can be hard, but Veda has loads of clearly labeled gluten free options. Their fish is sumptuous and flavorful. I also got the fish moylee and the sauce was so good I could swim in it! I totally enjoyed everything I had. Everything tasted very fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Apart from the food the service was wonderful. My waiter was kind and attentive at every point throughout my meal. It’s great when food tastes good and even better when service stands out. My waiter, Khemraj, was so kind and helpful I will make it a point to stop by again sometime this week when he is working. Do yourself a favor a stop by Veda. Whether you’re by yourself, on a date, or with a friend- you’ll be glad you did!

The online menu isn't super well-labeled, but the staff are extremely knowledgable! I have Celiac Disease, and I accidentally ordered a dish (online) that could not be made gluten-free. The server, Gabby, immediately called me to let me know and suggested a really wonderful gluten-free alternative. The food was ready super quickly and the staff was very friendly.

The food is reliably good. Curries are flavorful and appetizers are great to share. The recent menu update makes it really clear what is vegetarian and gluten free. The Cornish hen is juicy and has a balanced char. If you have room, try the mango sticky rice. I almost always share a pot of ginger tea here too. Great comfort food and something for everyone.

I have celiac disease. I've eaten here many times and I've never been sick. The only thing on the menu that isn't GF are the churros, but they have a dedicated GF fryer! Love the food. I will be back here many times.

Amada has the best brunch in all of Philly! They have the friendliest staff who are very knowledgeable about allergy-friendly items on the menu. Their refreshing and flavorful $5 sangria at brunch is an absolute steal and worth the visit alone! Some of my favorite items (which are gluten free) include the gambas (garlic shrimp), meat and cheese with lavender honey, Amanda’s breakfast hash and their French fries. Their dinner is as delicious as the brunch but significantly more expensive.

Shoutout to the kind staff, who cheerfully accommodated our request for a cup of hot water! We got the veg out pizza which had generous toppings and a well-fired crust. A tasty and filling meal! During our recent visit to Pennsylvania, my partner and I had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic spot that truly exceeded expectations. For a very reasonable price of $59, we enjoyed a delicious spread, including tacos with a side of chili, two burgers with fries, tea, and two waters. One of the standout features was that everything on the menu could be made gluten-free, which was a huge plus for us. The buns on the burgers were especially delicious—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The atmosphere was just right—not too loud or crowded—creating a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The service was top-notch as well. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the meal. A nice touch is the digital payment option on the receipt, where you can easily pay and leave a tip with a code. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and we are definitely looking forward to coming back the next time we’re in the area. If you’re in PA and craving some great food in a comfortable setting, this place is highly recommended! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
