Finding restaurants we trust that also have great options, that always taste amazing is pretty much impossible. Ffiona’s is the exception to that rule. We go often now, and whenever we do we are always treated to the best meals and it is so nice to not worry at all that my wife will end up in the hospital. I travel often to many places including San Francisco, LA, Boston, and Paris…Ffiona’s in London is my favorite restaurant of any we have been to.

We recently dined at The City Place at Night and are already looking forward to our next visit! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic.
I ordered the steak and frites with béarnaise sauce, and it was perfection on a plate. The steak was cooked exactly to my liking (medium) and had a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The frites were golden and crisp, with just the right amount of seasoning. The béarnaise sauce was silky and elevated the whole dish. My partner had the Rib Eye (medium rare) with peppercorn sauce which he thoroughly enjoyed.
For dessert, I tried their gluten-free vegan chocolate brownie with vegan ice cream, and wow! The brownie was rich, fudgy, and decadent, and the ice cream was creamy with a perfect balance of sweetness. It’s amazing to find a place that caters so well to dietary needs without compromising on flavour. My partner had the profiteroles just the right amount to end the meal not too heavy
The service was warm and attentive, and the cosy atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal. If you’re looking for high-quality food made with care and passion, The City Place at Night is a must-visit.

First time in London from Aus.
We stayed in Canary Wharf, so for our last evening meal we wanted to go somewhere local and Big Easy was a great choice. It's in a central location and was a lovely walk.
Decor/venue fitout is cool, hitting the American bbq brief. Live music is a nice touch nightly as so many venues don't offer that on a week night.
Menu has something for everyone, so my teenager and gluten free partner were happy.
We had the burger, the Half Lobster + Prosecco deal and the Ribs + Half Lobster. I had the Half Lobster + Prosecco w a side of Béarnaise sauce as the menu doesn't state it comes w the garlic butter sauce, I didn't need to do that as it came with a jug of garlic butter - delicious - as was the Béarnaise sauce! The meal wasn't quite enough for me so I ordered fries and that was perfect. Next time I would order the full Lobster.
Our server was lovely, however did send the wrong bottle of wine, didn't provide shellfish cracker and wipes - but this didn't take away from my experience. I will return and go earlier so I can enjoy the music for longer.

They were brilliant when it came specific dietary and allergy requirements. My daughter is newly diagnosed with coeliac disease and has to eat a gluten free diet, when I notified them the staff made sure to take it very seriously and are very aware of cross contamination. The manager even offered my daughter extra fries as she ordered the chicken wrap and when it came realised it wasn’t actually a wrap. Was pleasantly surprised by my visit and will definitely eat there again as my daughter didn’t feel left out and still has plenty menu options to choose from.
