I have Celiac disease, and I am also allergic to dairy and nuts. Our server was SO great and ensured that everything that was brought out was safe for me to eat. He went above and beyond communicating with the kitchen, and he was so sweet about it.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with creative dishes and attentive service that make every meal feel special and satisfying.

Andrew served us! Andrew is very polite, and gave us some good recommendations upon inquiry. We ended up choosing two items that were mentioned. I had the Scallop and Pork Belly Carbonara. It was a good portion size with delightfully buttery scallops and deliciously tender pork belly. I loved the creamy egg yolk sauce! The lemons garnishing the plate added a nice zest.
I also got to try the Honey Soy Glazed Chicken. We don't have any gluten intolerance, but that dish happens to be gluten free and I can vouch for it being a great choice! I particularly enjoy how this dish is out together visually. It's beautiful, and I love the glaze on the chicken.
We finished our meal by sharing a slice of Chocolate Dobos Torte, and I don't remember if we were told what sauce was glazed onto the cake but it was a pleasant way to finish our evening.
As we ate, I looked over to the bar area, and the staff were smiling and laughing together during a brief moment. While this was only a glimpse, I sincerely hope the staff enjoy working here as much as it seemed they do.
I always make sure to leave a good tip, but I hope you're all getting paid well because it seems like you're doing fantastic. Be proud of your work!
Thank you, Andrew. :)

Giles was absolutely the best waiter we've had in a long time, anywhere! Service was GREAT!
Numerous beers available on tap is a plus.... then our food came and no one at my table was disappointed!! Even the Gluten Free buns were on point! The jalapeño raspberry jelly was literally like no other! And the queso was so delicious!!
Next time we're in Lincoln we will definitely be back!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My food was great. I only had a small issue with my granddaughter. She is very young and gets sick as she has celiac. Lunch was fine, as she had a GF bun. Couldn't get fries due to cross contamination, so she had steamed broccoli. All was good until she went up for her free ice cream. They had a snickers ice cream. She asked if it was gluten free, they said yes. It's not a good thing she knows that real snickers aren't GF (she thought it would have been a deconstructed snickers). Anyway, she didn't eat it, they replaced it with vanilla. Thanks for the adjustment, but please, be careful.

The food and the margaritas were really good! They even did the gluten free sandwich for the lunch special where you usually only get half a sandwich and half a salad. Gluten free menu is available.

If you're looking for a place that offers a fantastic selection of ciders, food, and a fun and unique atmosphere, this is the spot!
First off, their ciders are exceptionally crafted—light, crisp, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The cocktails were creative, flavorful, and expertly crafted.
The charcuterie board was the perfect pairing for the ciders and all of their food is gluten free.
Also, the vibe at SARO is awesome. They offer live music, and the trivia nights throughout the week. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Unique for its attentive service and thoughtful allergen awareness, this spot is a must-visit for a casual and enjoyable dining experience.

It was awesome! The staff was fun and friendly! They even cared if I was gluten free because I didn't get a bun and the jalapeños coins were breaded! The inside was clean and the smoke house burger was delicious!
Really tasty food and lots of choices. Indian cuisine is great for those who must eat gluten free. Nice atmosphere good for groups and outdoor dining on the patio.

Wow! A restaurant in Lincoln where the kitchen actually cooks!
In my quest to find restaurants who can deal with food allergies one finds that most kitchens are merely re-heaters of food, at best from the morning of your visit. Last night I found one both willing and eager to re-create small portions of the sauces that make their entrees stand out... Ollie & Hobbes Craft Kitchen.
Ollie & Hobbes offers gluten free buns and vegetarian sandwich options, but not a gluten free kitchen with separate prep areas. However, they made clear that they are willing to take time to prepare fresh food to meet the customer needs.
You will find Ollie & Hobbes in the SouthPointe Pavilions, across from Marcus Theatres. The best access is to park on the South side of the garage and it is immediately on the left as you enter the Pavilions.
Ollie & Hobbes offer both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a full service bar. The evening clientele appeared to be mostly after work professionals and couples, suggesting this to be a local hidden favorite.
My culinary shout out for this visit was the Wedge Salad with Bleu Cheese crumbles, bacon crumbles, tomatoes and Bleu Cheese dressing. By far this is the best Bleu Cheese dressing I have had in Lincoln.
I look forward to a follow up visit soon, hoping that a busy night will prove as satisfying as the mid-week experience.
