Okome is by far my favorite place to eat in lexington for fast food. I don’t ever feel guilty eating it since it’s so healthy and gluten free. They give such generous portions & one bowl is so much food i always have leftovers for a good price. Definitely recommend

Yall! This is the place! Fellow vegetarians/vegans, this is an incredible spot to check out. Blue has an extensive vegan sushi menu & it is DIVINE. I have never had any sushi I’ve enjoyed, so I was uncertain at first. I met my parents here for dinner since they are huge sushi lovers & I wasn’t sure what to expect. This was absolutely some of the best food I’ve had in a minute at a restaurant as a vegetarian. Started off with the charred edamame, bc who doesn’t love a great bowl of edamame before dinner? I use to not love sushi bc of the seaweed wrap, so I was happy to know they had alternatives, soy rice paper & cucumber. I enjoyed their Thai & Crunchy Cabbagge rolls. I was shocked at how much I loved sushi, even went back a day later lol. Everything was super tasty. The flavors & textures were everything!!! Not only was the food great, but I highly recommend sitting at the bar. Our bartender Gabrielle provided excellent service. My family & I appreciated your kindness! Gabrielle was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. My mom is gluten free & we are always grateful when our server is eager to help & knows how to accommodate. Thank you for your service, can’t wait to come back!

Writing this review for our server, Will. He was very attentive in our needs, especially for Carol who has a Gluten allergy. He helped her with the menu and explained everything in detail. He insured that she received what she asked for and made sure everything was not contaminated for her. He took very good care of our table and made sure we had everything we needed. Please give him a raise because you have a gold mine working for you that really cares for the customer. Please tell him thank you again from Carol, Walt, Jennie and Greg.

The use of the building is pretty cool. Bar is hidden somewhat from main dining area. Food presentation is cool. Had the eggs to start. They were vey good with a tangy taste. Ordered a poutine to split. Came out in a large bowl. Unfortunately the burnt ends were laden with nothing but salt and made this inedible. Sent it back and it was replaced with cornbread at no charge( nice call on management to make things right). The cornbread was good but not to my liking. No sweetness of corn or even a hint of it mostly cornmeal taste. I felt like I was eating Bobs Red Mill gluten free product and was turned off. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were the highlight especially the gravy. Both well done. Our waitress was younger and absent most of the meal but could be seen hanging out behind the wall at the bar area. I would return if back in the area to try again.

5-Star Experience at Everest Nepalese & Indian Cuisine My wife and I had dinner here last night with a friend, and everything from start to finish was outstanding. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and offered our choice of seating—we chose a spot near the large glass windows, which offered plenty of natural light and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is impressive—packed with delicious-sounding options. We started with the chicken and vegetable *Sadheko Momo*—if you've never had momo, it's similar to a dumpling. These were bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and somehow both fresh and satisfying. A fantastic start to the meal. For dinner, we shared the *Newari Khaja Set* (which is gluten-free), and it was truly a feast: beaten rice with a wasabi-like kick, chicken choila, piroo aloo, vegetable curry, sautéed black-eyed peas, soybean sadeko, fried egg, lentil pancake (bara), tomato achaar, papadum, and dessert. Every bite offered a new flavor to appreciate. The egg added a crispy touch, and the curry was deeply flavorful. The dessert—imagine a sweet hush puppy in a pool of maple syrup—was the perfect ending. Service was excellent: our server was kind, attentive without hovering, and gave us time to enjoy everything at a relaxed pace. If you're a fan of Indian or Nepalese cuisine—or just love trying something new—Everest is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

I absolutely LOVE this place! They have Gluten free options!!! Pad Thai, fried rice, even some other things that I haven't had in a long time. Definitely recommend the Pad Thai, it's my favorite!

Had to try some Thai in our area and I had heard from a fellow foodie to check out “Simply Thai” in Middletown. This location was easy to get too, easy to park, and the restaurant is nice and clean with a fun tropical theme to it. The staff were young, but courteous, timely and attentive. My wife has actually visited Thailand twice, and she was impressed with the menu selection and authenticity of our dishes taste and her sweet peach boba tea that she had. Which although the large tea was $7, it was VERY good, and I’ve had many a southern sweet tea too. She said that it reminded her of the tea in Thailand, some of the best she’s ever had! And we travel a lot. We had just one appetizer, the “curry puffs” (picture taken). Which were very good, enough to share for two. And although their food does not look like much, they are power packed with flavor! The curry puffs were sweet, crunchy, and the cucumber dip was very good. Highly recommended, I bet the “satay” appetizer is also delicious; we will have to try that another time. For the main dish, we each ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, at a spicy 2 (picture included). Again, the dish does not look like much and the portion was MASSIVE! Enough to make an Italian eatery blush. Honestly, me and my wife could have split it between the two of us, but hey, left overs are good too! Beware, I would consider spicy level 2 to be at the highest “spice” that most people could probably still find palatable but any hotter and your tongue will be in for a lava treatment. Unless you are into that, but if it’s your first time eating Thai food, stick to 0-2 in spicy. They will also give free samples of their spices to taste and choose which one you would like too. Their menu was good, with many many options to add toppings, change meat to seafood to Tofu and even adding ingredients a plenty. They have multiple vegan and gluten free dishes and offerings too. However, regarding their menu, you can also customize your dishes if you wish, but some of the additional toppings were expensive. Such as adding olive oil to your dish is an extra $1.50, or others seemed a tad bit odd. I did rate the restaurant as a 4/5 because I am honest and don’t like to hand out too many 5/5s. The reasons why I rated this 4/5 was because of a few reasons: 1. Seating in the booths was uncomfortable, with the bottom of the booths falling off or unglued every time I shifted I felt like it might slide off. Not the end of the world, but they should fix those ASAP. 2. Their drink menu leaves more to be desired. Such as more beer options, more soda options, or having sugar free options. 3. The Pad Thai was served way too hot! Not the “spice”, but the actual temperature of the noodles was borderline scolding. So much of it we had to wait to eat, or blow on them to cool them down. But once the temp went down after 10 mins, it was easier and more enjoyable to eat. 4. A better dessert menu could use improvement. Such as maybe frozen yogurt options or some sort of a chocolate delectable would be nice. But they only have sweet rice and a deep fried banana. I know most Thai restaurants don’t have much for dessert, but it could make for a fun way to differentiate themselves from their competition. Check it out! It is good food! I hope they see my recommendations and consider solutions if they so choose too!

We were sat at the bar by a waitress who was clearly new, no big deal at all. Ordered drinks and food from the bartender, who was absolutely phenomenal, and Who i assume was the manager as she was juggling cocktails, food, and training a few people all at once. Drinks were great, food was fantastic, and explicitly gluten free on request. Was expecting actual hibachi tables but they only have hibachi food from what I could tell

A friend and I decided on a whim to eat here. She had never had East Indian food and I loved the fact it was a vegetarian menu. The food was absolutely delicious, and we liked the no frills atmosphere. The portions were ample and we felt the prices were right for the quality and quantity of food served. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of our visit was after our meal. A womyn who worked there (orgot her name 😞) approached us and asked for suggestions on how to improve the customer experience! Wow! That is a first! We suggested not using Styrofoam and identifying various menu items as gluten-free, etc. We are both gluten intolerant. It was refreshing to see a business so keen on customer feedback. We will be visiting again for sure!

Wanted Asian for dinner. Food looked good but specified allergy on a heart roll and salmon bowl my son ordered. Bowl was fine but roll filled with gluten filled panko. He was sick remainder of evening. It is especially important for my family that restaurants respect our allergies or food restrictions. Unfortunately this is a no-go and will not be returning or recommend Brady’s.
