I don't normally write reviews but we visited on a long weekend. The gluten free chicken sandwich I ordered wasn't a sandwich. It was a slice of very stale, thick gf bread with a combo of cooked apple, mayonnaise and lettuce that was not appetising. My partner ordered a gf pasta dish. The pasta was overcooked, very mushy, and the sauce was as bland as baby food. A lot of salt and pepper needed to be added. We had no serviettes or cutlery. Strangely, the pasta came with just a tablespoon. We were highly disappointed and would not recommend this cafe for food.
Chill spot perfect for relaxing with your pup, featuring unique options for dietary needs and a vibe that keeps people coming back.

Sweet and snug little cafe in the heart of Berry. Warm, welcoming staff who went above and beyond to accommodate tricky dietary requirements. The food was superb 👌 and they have a toilet available to patrons (much more convenient and clean than the public loos a block away). Really enjoyed our visit today.
Noted they also have quite a variety of gluten free offerings from pancakes to sticky date pudding and plenty in between!! Well done team, you were the icing on the cake to a lovely Mother’s Day ☺️
(No photos- we ate everything too fast 😅).
Experience a warm, inviting vibe with a charming outdoor courtyard and a variety of delicious options that keep visitors coming back for more.

Unbelievable Experience: We had lunch at IL Locale Berry on Thursday, apart from great food, wine and ambience we had an unbelievable customer experience. The owner noticed I had a mistake with food in my Gluten Free main meal. Not only did he apologise he replaced my meal! We were blown away THANKS!
A must-visit spot in Berry with a diverse selection beyond the usual treats that keeps visitors coming back for more.

The Berry Tea Shop is my favourite place to visit in Berry, which is a small town filled with many interesting shops to visit. They have a very wide range of teas to choose from. Multiple varieties of Chinese, Indian and Japanese loose leaf camellia sinensis teas, plus many tea blends, plus herbal teas and herbal blends.
They also stock lots of beautiful teaware, tea accessories, gifts, and tea books.
There is indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy some of their delicious cakes, scones and teas. Several of the cakes are gluten free, some dairy free also.
The Berry Tea Shop is well worth a visit and even to enjoy a cake or scones with a good cuppa if you have time to sit and relax.
Wow, small space but it's packed with everything you need from paperclips to gourmet cheeses to gluten free to bottle shop. Parking in Queen St or behind the store. Boxes are available if you forgot your bags.
So glad we booked in advance! Our night was well worth the wait! Such an intimate little restaurant and the service and food was outstanding! I am gluten intolerant but couldn’t tell the difference between my meal and my husbands in appearance! Was a lovely end to our break on the south coast. ❤️
Absolutely 10/10. Have been here twice now and the food is delicious, fresh and generous. The staff were so attentive and kind. It’s tucked in the arcade so it’s quiet, and accessible. Beautiful selection of cakes, and their menu is diverse. Caters for gluten free and We’re fans! Thanks guys for a great experience each time.
Fresh flavors and a scenic view of green paddocks make this spot a must-visit, plus there's a delightful treat shop next door.

Wonderfully tasty fresh food with gluten free options and the service is brilliant. Love the outlook over the green paddocks. Amazing Treat shop next door. Plenty parking. Highly recommend the gf sweet patato chips and I had corn fritters.
