We stayed at the Ovolo Moolooloo hotel and had a very nice meal here.
Very hospitably received, my wife is gluten-free and the menu contains gluten-free dishes and all pizzas can also be gluten-free. Excellent restaurant with good service.
Charming vibe with stunning vegan dishes and refreshing drinks make this spot a must-visit for food lovers wanting a delightful experience.

Gorgeous vegan food with great service! They easily accommodated gluten free. We had the cacio e pepe, meatballs, broccolini and bravas which were all beautiful, not a single note on the food. Very friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back and try more :)
A creative spot known for its unique twists and delicious flavors, featuring an innovative take on popular dishes and a focus on variety.

Plenty of gluten free options including san choy bau, chilli salt squid, bug meat dish and fried rice. Flavours are still delicious with tamari substitutions used and head chef Frank has created more gf dishes over the past couple of years.

We had vegan high tea at the Alibi Bar at the Ovolo - absolutely delicious - I couldn't believe it was vegan! My friend eats only gluten free and they were able to accommodate with very little compromise to the menu. Good selection of teas (and it's unlimited). My only complaint about the good is that they don't have scones! It was a little tricky to find however - make sure you type in Ovolo Hotel into Google maps and not Alibi Bar!
Asked for Gluten Free and most certainly did not receive it. Few hours later am beyond bloated and sick as anything. Staff made multiple mistakes across our table and clearly, my meal I've found out was a major one. Never go here if you're gluten intolerant or coeliac!!!

I first heard about Annette Potter on ABC radio on a Saturday morning when she faced Simon Marnie's Chef's challenge.
She spoke about her background and passion for food and hands-on approach to her restaurant and came up with some absolute cracker Thai inspired meals with the ingredients she picked.
Same day booked for her restaurant with my partner and cousins to check it out.
The welcome by her staff was calming and efficient, everyone knew what they were talking about, knew the menus, and suggested the best ways to enjoy.
We chose the 5 course chefs menu and were truly amazed at the depth of flavours and combinations. Truly well thought out menu.
Annette, has an amazing selection of wines and even a wine room upstairs showcasing some wines you can buy.
There's even an art gallery upstairs so you can escape between courses and check out the amazing artwork while sipping your wine.
My partner has a dairy intolerance, so we were blown away when we asked about dairy free options and told that the whole menu is dairy and gluten free...what a winner!!!
There is even a vegan menu so no one misses out at her restaurant. That's the way all restaurants should be.
If you haven't been GO...go now!
Lots of special functions and events she runs, so check them out.
Apologies for not photographing the first course. I looked away for a second, and it was gone! Yum.
