I’ll be honest, we haven’t personally entered society bakery, but as someone who has a gluten allergy I do appreciate their consideration I felt I have to leave a great review anyway! Even down to ordering online (we live further away and the drive for just a pastry doesn’t always sound like the best idea) they always have everything labeled clearly with all the options and automatically add an allergy when ordering an item that is gluten free. They even leave a little note in your order and it couldn’t make me feel more included. My fiancé isn’t gluten free and he loves their breakfast options as well and the quality of their ingredients is overall to be commended. I’m so happy to have an option like this around! Their gluten free goodies are delicious! Whenever I visit Sebastopol, I made an extra effort to go in for their GF scones or cookies & a rose or lavender latte I love that they sprinkle flavored drinks with fresh mint leaves, lavender or rose petals. Their syrups are high quality, too; not the cheap corn syrup you'll find at starbucks. Service is always 10/10. Best coffee shop in town!

I went to buy a gluten free cookie at Patisserie Angelica. The selection was only one kind. It was a triple chocolate cookie. I got out to my car and bit into it and it tasted stale. Not the first thing I got there that was stale so this time I decided I wanted to exchange it for something else, they had a gluten free brownie for a dollar more. I went in to exchange it and they refused. They claimed that it had been baked just that morning. Mind you it was 11:30 am when I purchased the cookie. Since I eat only gluten free, I am aware that what I get is often stale due to it being less popular than regular items. I will never buy anything from there again. The amount of money they make in that place, where one cake is $50 and they would rather lose a client over a dollar?

Just went here yesterday and I already want to plan another visit. Muir's Tea Room is phenomenal! They were so kind and accommodating to our group, making sure to check in advance if anyone had gluten free needs. The tea was delicious and they have so many flavors to choose from. The food was incredible and everything was vegan. I was so stuffed afterwards. The power kept going on and off because of the storm but the staff continued to be cheerful and helpful throughout! Many thanks to Muir's for making my birthday so special.

Finally a strong coffee in Napa and Sonoma. The red eye is everything you want in a coffee and get ready to not be able to resist the pastries. I did a local poached pear tartlet, my friend did a chocolate croissant and our other friend had the gluten free pavlova. Everything was fantastic.
