I just arrived to Reno and as a gluten-free eater, I’m often concerned about finding food that I can eat when I travel for work. I was so thrilled to walk into Haven on Earth today and find that the entire shop is gluten-free! This is virtually unheard of and it literally made my day. I was able to get bread for my week in town, hamburger buns, and a few pastry delights, including the cinnamon roll that they’re known for which, I must say, is absolutely the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had in my life!! 🌟🌟
This bakery offers a cozy indoor seating area perfect for enjoying treats. Known for its legitimately good gluten-free options, it features moist, flavorful cupcakes that cater well to gluten-free diets, making it a favored spot for those seeking special dietary treats.

I had the gluten free chocolate cupcake with dairy free chocolate ganache, and it was the best I've ever had! Moist but not too sweet, the cupcake held together beautifully with each bite! My husband said he really enjoyed his regular chocolate cupcake with cherry filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. It was moist and not too sweet. The staff that answered the phone, I called ahead to make sure there were still gluten free cupcakes available, and the staff at the counter were friendly and very helpful. Batch is my new place to go for a gluten free dairy free treat!

The cherry picker with sausage had great flavor. The happy hour was nice on a Saturday, six dollars for a glass of wine, $10 for cheese pizza or $12 for a sample platter. The Caprese was delicious. The waitress was prompt. There are good options for gluten-free. However, for pizza, it’s pretty expensive and space is limited , inside seating as well as parking near the restaurant.
This upscale spot offers a warm ambiance suitable for casual dinners and late-night indulgences. However, due to serious gluten safety concerns and unsanitary conditions reported, it poses significant risks for those seeking a truly gluten-free dining experience.

I just want to start this review with saying that I have never left a negative review on any business, but the mistake that this establishment made is too severe to be forgotten about. This is a horrible restaurant with waiters that are both rude and don’t care about customers health. Our waiter was extremely rude, would walk away while we were trying to order, not being patient and also rushing us. Even my drink having hair on the glass, which isn’t extremely bad, though it makes you realize just how unsanitary and unprofessional this restaurant really is , but the worst part of all, they fed one of my family members gluten while she has a GLUTEN ALLERGY!. She ordered a pasta and explicitly told the waiter about her allergy and for the pasta to be gluten free and they brought out a pasta that CONTAINS GLUTEN. It makes you wonder, what would’ve happened to a person with a severe gluten allergy? This establishment is a danger to people with dietary restrictions and needs to be reevaluated by either corporate or the health department. Please do not eat here, go to BJ’s instead or even Olive Garden.
Note: As I was reading the other reviews I also noticed that many other people have also gotten sick from this food, and having the manager come out when these type of things happen. Our waiter decided to keep this incident a secret as he then knew how bad of a mistake he made. So not only will this restaurants waiters make a huge mistake, they won’t report it so it doesn’t happen again!

I was picking up a cake for my best friend's father in law and had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the owner. Lovely space and great atmosphere.
I am Celiac, so I have to be gluten-free, I tried a gluten-free cookie and didn't have a reaction. The cookie was almond with powdered sugar and probably one of the most delicious cookies I have ever eaten! Holy cow, the flavor is off the charts!
This charming shop offers a modern, cozy decor that creates an inviting atmosphere for those seeking gluten-free treats. Their gluten-free options are praised for amazing taste, making it a standout choice for gluten-sensitive guests looking for specialty cupcakes in a welcoming setting.

We recently moved into a home near Batch Cupcakery. As cake lovers, we decided to check it out right away! We went with the kids and grandparents, and selected cupcakes for after dinner. They were beautiful, but so disappointing… for such expensive and attractive cupcakes, they were extremely dry, and just not very good. Fast forward a few months, and I am having a great deal of trouble finding a bakery in Reno that will make a lemon flavored cake for my son's 8th birthday. This is my son’s favorite flavor. I decided to give Batch Cupcakery a second chance. I like to support local businesses, it’s a convenient pickup on party day, and they do a lemon flavored cake. I went in to order a cake for 20ish people, I chose the 10” round, and gave the details… It's $200! Whoa, I’ve bought full sheet cakes for less, so I go with the 8” instead.
The cake looked nice when I went to get it. They won’t write a message on it for you, but it was frosted with a beautiful blue color. At the party, however, I had an incredibly difficult time slicing it, as there was a very tough crust on the outer cake beneath the frosting. Even my sharp knife couldn’t pierce it without squashing the cake below. Then it was served to the guests, and my daughter shouted out, “Mom this isn’t cake, it’s cornbread!” The cake didn’t taste like lemon at all, and it did taste exactly like dense cornbread. What’s worse, the fruit filling wasn’t present within the slices, as it had gathered in the center at the bottom and didn’t cling to the dense slices at all. Nobody liked the cake. Clearing the party table, I just threw away piece after piece of cake with only a polite bite or two eaten. It was really embarrassing, and I was so sad to have disappointed my little son.
To be clear, I ordered a normal birthday cake, nothing vegan or gluten free. I used to manage a business, and I know how important it is to receive feedback about your products, so that you can do better next time. I called Batch Cupcakery the next day, and left a polite message asking for the manager to call me. The girl asked what about, and I said briefly that we had a cake the previous day that wasn’t great. An hour later, the same girl called me back to say that the manager would not be calling me, that she only does personal calls for orders or questions, and that I’d need to submit my feedback via their online inquiry form. I was pretty offended by this, and explained that I had wanted to deliver private feedback, but that if I was going to take the time to write about my experience that I would post it publicly, and that I would appreciate a call back instead. Needless to say, they didn’t call me. Not only have I had an expensive disappointment here two times, but it’s pretty clear that this business doesn’t value its customers very highly if they can’t take two minutes to hear about my bad experience. I will never be back.
This bakery and cafe offers a cozy, expanding space with an inviting aroma that welcomes gluten-free guests. Known for its natural, non-glyphosate gluten-free ingredients, it provides a friendly atmosphere ideal for a satisfying breakfast experience.

I enjoy shopping here for numerous reasons. The produce is excellent!! Bananas taste like they should. Pineapples look and taste Amazing!
Staff is friendly...deli clerk's smile..clerk's on the floor are helpful...cashier's are professional. I like how the shelves have info stickers like gluten free...it really helped me when I was sick and could only eat gluten free food a few years ago. The only eh was it's a busy store with a lot of customers....but learn the peak times and avoid the rush because the value and taste does not lessen while you save more money unlike Wal Mart.
