The bakery we originally ordered from for my son's Bar Mitzvah fell through and we were left with just a week to find non-dairy and gluten-free dessert options for our guests. Red Fern came through with delicious treats and the kind of problem-solving service that meant so much to us when we needed it most. Andrea was so accommodating, our order was ready on time, and everything was delicious. There were so many flavors of mini cupcakes from which to choose and they were fabulous! Yummy little cakes with amazing swirls of frosting and lovely little embellishments like candied fruit, sprinkles, mini cookies, and cookie crumbles. I could eat the chocolate peanut butter rice krispie treats every single day, so good! Nobody even knew the chocolate raspberry cake was non-dairy...they just knew it was delicious and ate every piece of it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Best place for vegan desserts in Rochester. Everything I have tried you cannot taste the difference if it is dairy free or gluten free or made with butter and wheat. Most of my family either has celiacs or dairy allergies. This is a fantastic find! High quality desserts My wife and I love the vegan cookie cakes. We get one every birthday. We think up excuses throughout the year to get one 🤣

My husband and I have been coming here for brunch every weekend for a few years now. The food is always delicious and the staff is incredible! Lots of options for different dietary restrictions (one happy vegetarian/gluten free gal here- and celiac safe!) and we never leave disappointed. His favorite go-to meal is the mad hatter plate and I love the garden scramble and potatoes with the rabbits way hollandaise sauce. Highly recommend it here! No reservations so be prepared for a wait time but it is WORTH IT!

Lovely little bakery! Absolutely loved how many different Vegan and Gluten Free options they had! They also had Vegan and Gluten free cake by the slice which was greatly appreciated! Cake was delicious. It's nice to have found this place as I feel like with my food allergies I have more options now! Prices were more than reasonable which was also greatly appreciated!

This is a gem of a bakery full of pies, cakes, cookies and other baked goods. I have celiac so finding a delicious, local bakery that’s dedicated gluten free *and* offers dairy free and vegan options is a dream. I had the gluten free cheesecake and my partner had a mocha double chocolate cookie, and with one bite knew we’d be back. The owner was very welcoming and was happy to make custom baked goods for our specific dietary needs, but we had no trouble finding something from the case. We’ll be back another time to try the café items, which are all vegan and gluten free.

My husband loves to bake, so desserts were an important part of our wedding. We tried a few bakeries around Rochester and were blown away by the cakes and cheesecakes at Cheesy Eddies. We went with a dessert table with several kinds of mini cheesecakes, mini cupcakes and cookie sandwiches. They were able to customize our order to give us exactly what we wanted and accommodate our gluten-free needs. They also had display stands for us to rent which made our lives SO much easier.

We hired Rochester Wedding Cakes for our wedding and could not have been happier with the results. Michael Walsh was very easy to work with throughout the whole process as well. We were planning on 160 guests, and they gave us a quote based on that number. When the RSVPs came closer to 100, we asked for a change in our initial order and they did so without a hitch. They delivered to our venue promptly and with no issues. And the cake/cupcakes themselves were amazing, even several days after the wedding! They truly have something for everybody, and they'll even offer you a sample box of frostings/ganaches/cake flavors to try before you formally decide! They also have plenty of gluten free options and were very attentive to any allergies. Highly recommend Rochester Wedding Cakes

I was getting cupcakes for my daughers class for her birthday and I needed two special cupcakes. I went there for the first time on June 7th and brought a Gluten Free cupcake (Snickerdoodle) for my daughters teacher and a vegan one (Oreo Funfetti) for her classmate who is dairy free. I also picked myself up a cupcake(Snickerdoodle), and honey when I tell you that cupcake was SO GOOD! Even my daughters teacher said it was the best cupcake she has ever had! I highly recommend, even if you aren't vegan or gluten-free because you won't know the difference. The owner is also very nice!

They have such a great variety of donuts/pastries. i love their breakfast sandwiches and even their frozen pot pies! they have frozen meals you can purchase to take home for those days when you just can't and your family still needs to eat. have saved me on several days i was too sick to cook. it's even a chill spot to sit n eat. if you meet another mom friend then your kids can play in the small play area they have while you drink your coffee hot 😁. recently purchased the gluten free granola they had in the shop area. it was great delicious, not too sweet, great crunch, and made a great cereal or added to yogurt.

Absolutely amazing service. I called and ordered a sugar free cheesecake. I went to pick it up and didn’t realize it was a gluten free cheesecake. I left and before I realized it was the wrong cake they called and apologized about giving me the incorrect item and offered to hand deliver the correct one! We used Savastano’s for dinner through Grubhub when our family was ill last month. We had amazing pizza and great cookies (and gluten free brownies!) and hoped it wasn’t a fluke- it has taken us awhile to find good take out in Gates. We just ordered from them again tonight, a family size pizza and gluten free cauliflower crust pizza (Georgio) and it was delicious again. We love this place and are glad to finally have a local pizza place that we can count on for a delicious meal. Pick up is currently curbside or drive through- which we also appreciate.

Holy god! This place is amazing— even with my mask on, the intoxicating scent of baked goods smacked me in the face! I ordered a bunch of random pastries today…. Because I’m a gluten haha…. But wow. I used to live in NYC, and this easily rivals the best NYC pastry shops. The cherry turnover- light, airy, and they use sour cherries!!! …which in my humble opinion, is the only way to do it!! They cheese danish— totally on point. The staff is extremely and provided excellent recommendations— even to a newbie, such as myself. One of the best pastry shops in Rochester— if not the best. If you’re in or near Brighton, do yourself a favor and try this place out!
