We ate there last night, passing through LAVAUR. Very happy to have discovered this little restaurant. Dishes not only copious but excellent! For once I was able to eat a homemade, gluten-free Burger. A real treat. And Bibi’s little porcini and pepper sauces are excellent. I recommend without problem.

My partner made a reservation at the restaurant on Saturday evening for my birthday, the setting is classy and refined. Perfect service from an attentive and smiling team. A meal to die for, fresh and quality product, perfectly cooked, a real treat. Advice on the choice of wine based on our very successful dish as well. (Small detail, they offer gluten-free and/or lactose-free dishes, a blessing for me who is intolerant). We had a wonderful romantic evening. For me, it is one of the best restaurants in Carcassonne.

Normally, we know "Le Bistrot" from having seen it in summer, when it is a bustling place. A bistro with excellent value for money, professional service and delicious dishes. Now, in November, Saint Jean is a quiet place and the gastronomy goes into winter mode. We arrived late for lunch and were still well received. We ate well and felt comfortable. A real treat! Vegetarian offer on the menu (and vegan, gluten-free, on request). Only fresh produce, vegetables from their garden (!!), as much as possible locally for the rest. A superb wine list... despite the wait which can be very long between courses, it remains a place worth the detour. If we return to the area we will return without hesitation (with a little more patience in our pocket).

We stopped for a quick meal on our way home. We payed 24euros for entrée/plat. I am gluten-intolerant. The nice lady had no problem arranging a glutenfree variant of the salad we had as starter. It was delicious. Maincourse: My husband had tuna, and I had porc. Both dishes were very good. On top of the good food, the service was brilliant. We will come back a second time.

Friends recommended this place to us and it was without regret that we stayed 2 nights at Villa Duflot. A 5/5 for me. Welcoming and helpful staff, the place is magical and relaxing, the plate without false note and gluten-free (Being coeliac, that is important, I even had my buns without gluglu, royal!). We came Monday January 2 in the evening a little late, and despite the fact that I eat gluten-free and lactose-free and that certain products were sold, they adapted a dish for me. Excellent cuisine, tasty and out of the ordinary. For €4 more than the dish alone I decided to take the menu. Starter a little small, melon and watermelon would have benefited from being cut more evenly for it to be perfect, the cooking of the fish was impeccable, and for dessert as I had refused the bread saying that I am gluten-free, I I was treated to a tile just for me, special with coconut. Flawless! A warm welcome, an explosion of flavors, finesse, color, an attractive presentation... research, mastery and creativity... From Virgin Mojito to chocolate or mango desserts, by the way by the samosas, the sausage rougail, the vegetable lasagna and the eggplant burger... a treat from start to finish. The only problem with KetoPub is that you have to choose! Everything is good in Keto. We will come back as soon as possible :) I highly recommend to all keto people, diabetics, gluten-free people and especially all gourmets :p

Special mention from me for the pinsa (gluten-free pizza) which is a pleasure after several years without eating it! The rest of the menu is local and we taste original wines. This review concerns the restaurant and not the accommodation. -------------------------------------------------- --------------------------- While passing through La Malène, we were quickly interested by the presence of a vegetarian (and gluten-free) menu, directly displayed on the street side and at the entrance to the establishment. The presence of many customers from northern Europe seemed to motivate this menu, but the talent and creativity of the cook made it a success. Timbale of green Puy lentils cooked in curry, covered with sprouts (lentils?), thin slices of cucumbers on a mesclun with balsamic vinegar (good quality vinegar, because not too sweet), small leeks served warm and perfectly cooked, accompanied with a creamy tomato/pepper sauce. That's it for the cold starter. Hot food is served in ramekins or large verrines: roast potatoes cut into fries, p. of t. / carrots, very mild, almost sweet, which should be seasoned with pepper, zucchini (not cooked enough for my taste) with crushed garlic-tomato-herbs. For dessert, the best: baked apple topped with an apricot coulis flavored with thyme syrup on a bed of wild blueberries. The service was courteous and professional, probably provided by the manager of the house. So. For €17/person only on the terrace, in a majestic setting. Add the wine, available by the glass. We were delighted and highly recommend this stop.
