A smaller menu for gluten-free options, but their chef can accommodate most brunch meals to work with you.
We both ordered the shrimp and grits. This is not a traditional Southern dish but more of a creole-style meal. It is very liquidy, with unusual spicing, plenty of shrimp, a fair portion of chorizo, and a handful of veggies to make you mentally feel better about your choice.
Skip on the Irish Coffee, it is ok but not worth the price.
Other dishes at the table that looked good were the omelets and steak and eggs platter. Ordering the medium rare steak came out medium well, again with an odd flavor but a good portion of potatoes.
The Sunday Brunch show was too loud for our group to enjoy our time together, and we were seated in the main room, not the entertainment room.
Happy hour here dazzles with extensive, wallet-friendly options, a chill vibe, and convenient parking and transit access.

Just had a great happy hour meal at Kabuto! Our server, Melissa, was very friendly and personable. The happy hour menu (drinks AND food) was surprisingly extensive and surprisingly affordable! Our bill for the four rolls of sushi in our photo plus four cocktails ONLY came out to a little over $60, and, atop that, Melissa threw in a piece of tempura cheesecake on the house!
The sushi was very tasty, and it came out surprisingly quickly. We ordered Mai Tais and Mojitos. All were good! The ambiance is nice. It also looks like they either partially or fully validate your parking if you decide to drive here and pay, but there are Metrorail and Metrobus stops either a 7-minute or 1-minute walk, respectively. If you have dietary restrictions they do mark on the menu which items may or may not contain gluten and which items are vegetarian-friendly.
After spending over $40 at Roti in DC for barely filling Chipotle-like lunches today and over $200 in Baltimore's Inner Harbor yesterday on less food/beverages this was the highlight of the food so far on our vacation! We are staying kitty-cornered to Kabuto at the Cambria Suites and will be back tomorrow for dinner again! It is nice to find a place in the DC/Baltimore area that doesn't price-gouge!
This place was NOT good. The three of us all got something different, and no one liked what they ordered. I have a friend with celiac disease, and even though she ordered a GF waffle, they brought her a regular one. We figured out it wasn't GF about five minutes later when the waiter ran out and told her to not eat it because it wasn't GF. They remade her food (which took forever), and they brought her the correct waffle, but the eggs that came with it were practically raw. All their food is mushy, so bland, and just very disappointing. Hotel waffles taste better than these ones.

I went on opening day and there was lots of people! The owners are SO nice and they have a wide selection on tap. They also have a large selection they sell including gluten free beer which is great for my boyfriend who has celiac disease. I went for a breakfast sandwich the next morning with home fries and both were delicious! As was the nitro brew coffee! I am so excited this opened so close to me, and I will definitely be a regular. Hopefully in the future they add some wine taps, and stay open a bit later on weekends. Overall the opening day was a big hit and I am super excited to have this is the neighborhood!

Lunch with small group on a quiet winter weekday no one else in the place. My steakhouse burger was nicely cooked but non-memberable. The place did provide me with the option for a side salad instead of fries, which was made with fresh greens and very tasty. My friend was able to get her burger on gluten-free bread, and they nicely put her accompanying fries on a separate plate for the rest of us to nosh on.
