Ideal spot for hosting events due to its excellent service, while also praised for a soothing ambiance and fun live music on a kid-friendly patio.

Delicious meal and gluten free/celiac safe! The sushi was excellent, everything was so fresh, with lots of great flavors. The tempura is gluten free and no cross contamination in the fryers
This cozy spot offers a modern menu with plenty of options, perfect for a laid-back meal, and a great atmosphere year-round.

Our waitress was so rude to us. My mother who is Gluten free felt rushed ordering and the waitress didn’t ask if she wanted her Avocado Toast Gluten Free or not. I traded my mom food so she could eat and the waitress didn’t ask if I wanted something else instead of the toast so i didn’t get to eat
A cozy diner with standout sandwiches and excellent takeout, though service can be hit or miss at times.

Second Visit: Still excellent food…but extraordinarily poor service. After getting seated, the waiter spilled one of the waters all over the table and onto my son. They brought the wrong fries with our order and then said they would bring out the right kind only to not get them until I was more than half way through my entree.
Our water and soft drinks were never refilled. They frankly forgot about us once the food was out. Once we were finished and had waited 10-15 minutes with no sign of our server, we had to walk to the bar to ask for our server. Someone else came to the table a few minutes later and said they didn’t know where our server went (like she disappeared after bringing us our food and never came back.).
So he ended up bringing out our check. The proper thing to do would have been to offer up one of the entrees as free, or the drink, or offer a free dessert, but nothing. Just a check and an expectation for a tip.
So disappointing for a place that really does have good food which the PC scene still desperately needs more of.

Sammy’s is a great diner. What should you get v stay away from?
Recommendations to get:
- Chivito Sandwich (best thing we ate)
- Salmon Salad on quinoa
- Nachos (weren’t much to look at but were surprisingly good)
- Sweet Potato Fries and Fry Sauce
- Fountain Drink (they nail there syrup mixture for Coke Zero)
- Gluten Free options (so happy with the GF selections)
Avoid:
- Bacon Cheeseburger (we were excited to try this…But really meh)
Regular Fries
Carrot Cake

I ordered a gluten free pizza to be picked up. The order was $45.07 for a 12 inch pizza. I specified on the ticket that I’m allergic to gluten. First they got my order wrong, and gave me someone else’s pizza (presumably not gluten free!) and then when they gave me what I ordered, it was essentially feta cheese sprinkled on bread with zero sauce. I am so unbelievably disappointed and will never come back.

COOLEST atmosphere! Along with my favorite cocktails in Utah. I love their seasonal cocktail menu and look forward to trying the unique combos. I wish they had more gluten-free dishes, but it’s a small menu so it’s understandable. We got the GF wings and poutine, the wings are super good but the poutine is a skip (a little too oily).

A spectacular spot on main! The interior design is very unique in the best way possible. I’ve never seen a restaurant like it with its gorgeous wood accents, 1/2 booths that are perfect for date night, iron water goblets, and even the yellow tiled bathroom!
Food: The tortilla soup, tacos and sirloin were are AMAZING! They had some great wine selections too.
The food is delicious, definitely on the more pricey side, but perfect for a special night out :)
They have a few nice gluten free options too (see the pictures).
This spot is a trusted haven for those with dietary concerns, offering a refreshing vibe and consistent quality that keeps visitors coming back.

Finally, a place that really cares about Celiac. Nobody knows how hard and scared it is trying food in a new place. Even if you mentioned allergies, you never know if they handle your food carefully until you finish at the hospital. This is our 4th time here, and I've tried a lot of options here and never got sick. I love this place and definitely coming back. I hope this review helps people with celiac or with other allergies to know that this is a place we can trust.

We had an awesome breakfast. Service was quick! Good gluten free options. The GF toast was actually pretty good! The chicken sausage was very tasty. I really enjoyed the chia pudding! We will be back tomorrow to order the same things!
One of the best dining experiences I've had in Utah, and the quality of the fish is absolutely amazing.
First, one of the members of our group has a severe gluten allergy. The staff were so friendly and accommodating with regards to making sure that certain parts of our meal were gluten free. There's even a whole gluten free menu that's available upon request.
We ordered a bunch of food to share, so I got to try a little bit of everything.
Appetizers:
Blistered Green Beans - YUM. So delicious. The sauce was a perfect companion to the perfectly cooked beans.
Firecracker Shrimp - A huge win. The shrimp was battered perfectly, and cooked to perfection. Not at all overcooked and rubbery like other fried shrimp I've had.
Hot Beef Rock - They bring out thin raw slices of meat, a buttery sauce in which to dip the slices, and a super hot sizzling rock on which to sear them. We got one of each, Japanese and American. While both are amazing - the Japanese is the clear winner. The meat is perfectly marbleized and melts in your mouth. Worth the pricey upgrade. They even brought out a separate rock and gluten-free sauce for our friend.
Sushi:
Ikura (Salmon Roe) - One of my favorite types of sushi. I've tried this at several other Utah sushi restaurants and it was obvious to me it wasn't the freshest. This version was AWESOME. Supreme quality, no fishy taste, and looked super fresh.
Honey Roll - I really enjoyed it, but it was a pinch sweet for me. I preferred the Yellow Widow roll which was simpler.
Yellow Widow Roll - The soft shell crab was cooked perfectly. Out of the two rolls, this was my favorite.
Our friend with the gluten allergy had miso black cod. She absolutely adored it - said it was one of the best fish dishes she's ever tried.
The service was perfect - very attentive and our server Lisa was knowledgable about the sake selection and dishes.
I highly recommend trying Shabu. Make reservations in advance if you go. They're quite busy on the weekends. We had to wait about 45 minutes for a party of 4 without them.

Such a cute little place! We stopped for breakfast and apres ski out last visit! Menu is not marked gluten free but the Healthy Start worked well for me and my husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito! The hummus was a great snack after skiing!
This place is awesome! Early open at 7 AM. The staff was very accommodating to
my gluten allergies! They had a GF toast, impossible sausage and the biggest veggie egg white omelet!
Placed an order to go. I’m gluten free so asked for the GF bun on the basic burger. They asked if I wanted the fries, I asked if they were GF she said no. I said, okay well I’m GF so I can’t have gluten. She said I could have the Caesar salad. Great 👍 she said it would be 15 minutes. I showed up 15 minutes later and the hostess was taking individual to go orders for a large group who was undecided. The family in front of me was going to lose their minds because they just wanted to be seated and had been waiting for some time. Another 15 minutes went by and a lady brought a to-go order out. I asked if it was mine and she looked at the receipt in the bag and said no. The family in front of me asked a passing waitress if she could seat them and she said it’s too late, they close at 8. They had a hungry mom and kids and they were understandably upset. Especially because the sign on the door clearly stated they close at 9pm on Sunday. So they left. Finally the group was done ordering with the waitress and then she grabbed the order that the other lady said was not mine. It was mine. I could have easily paid at the bar for it and been in my way 15 minutes earlier. Got back to our hotel and the Caesar salad was covered in croutons. Why on earth would I pay extra for a GF bun and then want croutons in my salad? I was planning to share this with my son. By the time we got to eat and discover that we couldn’t eat half the meal it was infuriating. The hamburger itself was so tiny. I would have expected at least some sauce or ketchup or something on it. My son has had bigger kids meals. Way overpriced. Still hungry. Probably wouldn’t have been so upset about it if we had gotten it on time. By the time we got to start eating we were then starving. What a waste of money and time.
