Give me Liberty or give me death!!! I felt like death leaving this place. And you will wait for your food to hit the table... Man, let me start by saying, "Table of 4, holiday weekend, kick off, so the team decided to grab lunch together, COOL." I am a 1st and LAST timer...... My order: Ol' Faithful (scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, biscuit, and hashbrowns) I wanted a side order of pancakes. Well, the waitress wanted to give me an entire pancake meal, and I asked for just 1 side order (a la carte). The pancakes only (side order) were $12 for 3 that were not edible. Photo: My food and pancakes were dusty dry inside. Couldn't cut with a knife. They were tough. At clean up, I found out it was gluten-free. No thanks Others: enjoyed their meal, one inhaled the burger, not sure if she tasted it. Everyone eats, and we are heading out, returning to the office. Instantly, I needed to sit down and center myself. Felt loopy, headache, nauseous not just me, all of us!!!! One took a 15-minute nap to try to bounce back, I am flushing with water, and the others are in the bathroom. So, notification are being made to our job because something is clearly off and we all are not sure what is going on....we left the office and directly to get lunch to return directly back to the office. ( I fast until 1100hrs, this was my first meal for the day) The best way I explained it, feeling loopy like when I eat Chinese food and forget to tell them no MSG. Nothing on the menu states cooked with MSG. Called the location just to check if they cook with MSG, Alexia/Alexis (manager) heard my issue, quickly put me on hold to check a sauce they cook with; returned to say no MSG in the building. The service was very good and prompt here. The staff was very polite and attentive. The food was super good and I was very pleased with how many gluten free options were available. Around half of the items were either gluten free already or had a gluten free option, which I find impressive. Usually, other restaurants might have 2 out of 8 main dishes with gluten free options, but not here. Biggest issue was trying to find street parking before hand. Good luck with that! Unless you’re lucky on street parking will be closer to 2nd or 3rd street on broad. I do think there’s a parking garage that’s closer but I’m not sure of the cost. Anyway, I will be back for sure! Oh and I really recommend the shrimp and scallops over polenta for the secondi (second course). That was MAGNIFICENT!

Our waiter Badhan was very nice and helpful. I have a gluten allergy (celiac) and he helped me find items on the menu that were safe to eat and made sure there was no cross contamination. Excellent service!

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Cap Ale downtown and could not have been happier! They were super easy to work with, made accommodations for allergies/dietary restrictions, and the whole thing was super reasonably priced. And of course, all the food and drinks were delicious! My wife and I are both gluten-free and dairy-free, and we decided to not have dessert since the two options on our pre-set menu weren’t gf and df. The team at Cap Ale took it upon themselves to provide a dairy-free, gluten-free cheesecake for the two of us to share! It was amazing and really left an impression that they took the time to do this. Huge shout out to Jessica who took great care of our whole party, and to Amber who helped us with booking.

My partner and I went to Carrabba's on a Saturday in April around 11:30am. We were seated right away and it was not busy. We were served bread and oil and ordered calamari as an appetizer. Our meals came with either soup or salad also. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We both ordered pasta dishes and I got their gluten-free noodles. It's really a hit-or-miss with gluten-free noodles, but these were delicious!! We were overall really impressed with everything! The wait staff were responsive and friendly as well. We had a great experience and cannot wait to return!

We had a graduation/Mother’s Day celebration with a party of 7 and Audrey was very attentive and took great care of us. We had a great time and food was amazing! They were very great about helping with gluten or dairy free accommodations.

I can’t rave highly enough about the service and hospitality of Lemaire and the Jefferson hotel. We had nothing but pleasant experiences during all of our encounters with the staff. The food here is exceptional - yes it’s expensive, but you get what you pay for and it’s top quality. We stayed two nights and dined here for dinner both nights. Honestly I couldn’t choose a favorite dish because everything was so delicious. Love the Gluten Free options too - the waitstaff even brought me GF bread. Such a treat!

I went for a client dinner and it was great. The service was great. The food was excellent overall. They were sensitive to dietary restrictions and celiac. The building itself was beautiful. I got burrata, fried green tomatoes, some bourbon drinks, and the prime rib. I did remove a star because my prime rib was cooked very medium when I requested med rare. I also removed a star on atmosphere because it was incredibly hot on the second floor. The whole party was sweating ... Faces GLISTENING sweating... And I feel that distracted from the ambiance and conversation. Mind you it was a 90 degree day.

This was the best pizza I’ve tried in richmond and the best gluten free crust I’ve tried at any pizza place. The staff were all very kind and the food came out quickly. The food was delicious and I will definitely be coming back!!

Stopped here for the first time after picking my son up from preschool. They were pretty full except for the bar and a couple of tables. The waitress was slammed but the owner/chef waved motioned us to sit anywhere from the kitchen. He apologized and took our order. My wife ordered a gluten free pepperoni pizza w/mushrooms and peppers. I got the steak and cheese w/a side of fries for my son. The s&c was juicy and flavorful. Her pizza was very tasty and a great crust unlike other GF pizzas she's had. The Stone IPA was cold, hitting the spot with the steak. We will surely make this a weekly stop after being impressed with their service, food, and ambiance.

Such a cute place and the food here is amazing! I’m gluten free and vegetarian and there are so many options on the menu if you have dietary restrictions! 10/10 recommend their pad thai too!

Absolutely love this place! It’s quickly become my favorite cafe to cowork in. The staff is super friendly, the vibes are cozy, the food is comforting (they’re fantastic with gluten free people like me), the internet’s fast, and they obviously care a lot about the community. They even have a rack of coats available for people who need them and hot meals for anyone who’s hungry and can’t afford it. Totally the type of place we should be supporting!

Standard red robin experience. We were told it's a 15 mins wait but we got a table in 5. When we went in almost half the restaurant was empty (they got a big place). Decent vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options available. The staff was patient and respectful.

I love toast so much but this new location is even better if you can even imagine. They always have plenty of gluten-free options for me and the fried calamari was absolutely amazing. It doesn't matter what toast you go to. It's going to be fantastic but this one has some new menu options that I really enjoyed.

Nice sit down restaurant. Service was great. Food was excellent. Some of the best tasting Indian cuisine I've ever had. Chicken Tikka was gooooood! Most entrée's on menu were gluten free and were noted as so. Relative has wheat allergy so we chose this establishment because of the awareness to people with gluten intolerance. I'd go back anytime. YUM!!!!

Parterre is a hidden gem in Richmond. The brunch is delicious! Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options! There is even a cute courtyard to enjoy when the weather is nice. I highly recommend making a reservation soon!

I love the vibes this restaurant carries. The staff are always exceptionally outstanding in their service. The food is also good if there are dietary restrictions or sensitivities (vegan or gluten free). They accommodate when you inform the staff. The sushi and other meals here are also incredibly good! I love coming to this restaurant. They have me hooked.

This is my favorite new addition to carytown, it is the new neighborhood living room. Bring your spare board game to donate, come here with your DND group, or just to hang out with some friends. Nothing fancy but very cozy. Favorite new addition to Carytown The Unicorn Fuel is unexpected, and not to miss.
