I called ahead and did a pick-up order. My burger and fries were delicious! I chose a turkey patty and GF bun. Best gluten-free bun I have ever had! The staff was friendly when I entered for pick up. Once they found out I was GF, they pointed out other options for me. I really appreciated that, and I will be back to try them.
Enjoy a unique menu with a variety of creative options and fantastic drinks that'll keep you coming back for more!

The food and service were great! We appreciated the gluten friendly options and the care of the staff to help us figure out what was safe for my husband to eat. We loved the wings!
A unique dining spot perfect for first-timers with a great atmosphere, where the helpful staff guide you through a fun and interactive experience.

We tried this place out last week. We both have gluten allergies (celiac for me, intolerance for him) so I was drawn in by the chance to eat happily without cross contamination. The meats were great options and I think I ate my weight in shrimp! There were only a few seasonings or sauces that were gluten free so I found myself using a ton of pineapple to season the meats and add a little extra flavor. The server was AWESOME to help us figure out what we really liked And brought us a listing of all ingredients to keep us safe.
Lack of GF choices aside, my teen loved having 2 hours to eat everything he could! It seems like a steep cost at first, but I couldn't fill him with $30 worth of fast food or pizza so I was really pleased with that aspect. Overall, we might go back. Regular eaters will love the options, but the lack of (non-spicy) GF options may keep me from going back. (There's a sign preventing outside food/drink on the grills for health reasons)
With a lively atmosphere and a menu that caters to diverse tastes, this spot ensures a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for all.

We had a lovely dinner Friday night with friends. Even though our party was large, the service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The hanger steak and whole baby carrots with chimichurri were outstanding as were the pickled vegetables, deviled eggs and gluten-free peanut butter cookies. We will back!
Great selection of options to accommodate various dietary needs, ensuring a delicious experience even if some dishes may need a little extra care.

Our server, Julie, was amazing and attentive to our needs. There is a great selection of sauces and items on the menu that were identified as gluten friendly for my food allergy. The food was delicious overall, though the chicken was slightly dry and overcooked.
Great little restaurant in a fun district in Downtown Roanoke. We were there for a soccer tournament and they accommodated us on a Saturday night. Forty of us dined. My girls loved the gluten free pizza. The blackened meatloaf was a surprise and tasty. Wife did not care for the turkey burger. Lots of great craft beers on tap, and if you need more, a brewery is at the end of the building!
I was originally going to eat at the place across the street, I can't think of their name and it really doesn't matter because they were booked. I ordered the duck breast instead of the lamb due to a sensitivity to gluten, which upon hearing the entire staff was very considerate of that accommodation. I highly recommend the Virginian as a cocktail to begin with, also the cheesecake as a desert, the kitchen staff was very considerate in remembering the gluten sensitivity and serving it with no crust. Also the salad was very enjoyable, it had a mild balsamic dressing with cracked pepper and parm
This is an excellent restaurant
PS, just when you think you are finished they bring an extra piece of chocolate 😋
I really enjoyed my experience at Macados. The first time I went with my family we all enjoyed ourselves which is rare. not because we're an emotional roller coaster but because my mom and sister are allergic to gluten which usually leads to disappointment when we go out. but not only were the servers kind, patient, understanding, and helpful, Macados has a gluten free part of the menu so we all were able to enjoy a delicious meal and my mom and sister didn't have to settle for just a salad.
I had been searching for a line dancing bar for years when I moved to the South and Sidewinders is everything I could have asked for and more. The food was delicious. I had a Lonestar Chili Cheeseburger on a gluten free bun that was scrumptious. The Sidewinder fries are a perfect combination of a curly fry and a steak fry! The line dancing was on point as the DJ played various styles and speeds of songs. I will definitely be back to this venue in the near future!
Had an excellent experience at Local Roots. Food was perfectly prepared & careful attention was given to my food allergies. It's hard to feel safe eating out with celiac & a citrus & citric acid allergy but the chef & wait staff was awesome. My friend & I were both pleased with our meals!
