I have known this restaurant for a very long time but this time I was really disappointed to the point of not really coming back. ☹️ I didn't know that the pattern had changed, so to my surprise the menu had also changed. There used to be a lot more gluten-free options. It’s already difficult in Belgium not to find places and for the few places we have, they take away most of the options… As for dinner... we ordered a carpaccio as a starter... when it was served at the table, I was surprised because the carpaccio was hard, like frozen... I understand that it must be fresh, I have eaten it in many Italian restaurants all over the world but never has it been frozen... we didn't even appreciate this incredible taste of fine and delicious beef like Carpaccio is! Then I told this to the waiter and he told me it was normal because it has to be fresh… but no, it's not the same thing fresh=frozen. We also had a pizza that had excess oil… it’s a real shame ☹️ and the risotto was average! The portion was perfect but it lacked real risotto. Honestly, it was one of my favorite restaurants and now I'm very disappointed...

Super clean restaurant. The manager is adorable and reassuringly calm! Perfect service, we are all served at the same time, the pizzas arrive rather quickly. I tasted the scampi pizza with gluten, and the gluten-free version: both are superb. Really come and eat, you won't be disappointed.

We went there as a family and loved it, the place is beautifully decorated. Before going there we contacted Darius café on insta to ensure that products without gluten, traces of gluten and dairy products were offered there. We quickly received a response, allowing us to go there during our short stay in Liège. A big thank you to Delphine, who once there, was of great help. She showed us the suitable pastries and served us with professionalism and good humor. It is with great pleasure that we recommend your establishment.

The products are really good and of quality, that’s undeniable. We feel the artisanal work and the effort to offer gluten-free products that taste good, and that’s rare. On the other hand, the service experience leaves something to be desired. Hours are very limited (two days a week), and online orders are not processed instantly even if the products are displayed as in stock — they are not validated until the next business day, which can be a little frustrating. In addition, if you show up without having ordered, you feel that it is disturbing. The welcome is often cold, and it is even more obvious when the manager is there. I completely understand that it's a demanding profession, but a quick "Hello" or "Thank you for your purchase" costs nothing and makes a big difference. Being a retailer is not only about selling a good product, it is also about welcoming people with a minimum of human warmth. I will never rate it below average because the quality is there. But a little effort on the customer relations side wouldn't hurt.

I went with some friends to visit Dinant and we ate here because I have celiac disease. They have the option of choosing gluten-free pasta and you can ask for the allergen menu, which is not particularly common in Belgium. My friends say their pasta was very good and, personally, mine was good too. To add a “but”, I think the premises should be better ventilated.

I'm celiac (meaning I can't eat gluten). I always took and asked if the truffle fries they cook don't contain gluten. I was always told that it did not contain any, and today they told me that the fries contained gluten. It’s really scandalous to have made me eat fries that contained gluten the other times, whereas when celiacs eat gluten, it destroys our intestines!!!! on the site it is clearly marked that ALL fries are gluten-free!

We chose the crispy Brussels waffle, as well as the very soft Mons waffle. In terms of toppings, the homemade sauces are worth the detour: we tested the vanilla & macadamia praline (killer) as well as the pistachio praline, just as successful. The quantities are generous and the waffles/crepes are also artisanal. In terms of drinks, there are several types of Latte (Matcha, Pumpkin, etc.), perfect for winter. We validate the Pumpkin Lover, very comforting. Furthermore, in order to make desserts accessible to as many people as possible, the Tavern offers options for people with gluten or lactose intolerance, which is a big plus! The team is young, smiling and responsive... in short, a warm place to try with family or friends.

I am very disappointed, because this Saturday, November 3, I went to your Gerpinnes store to order a gluten-free menu. And yes, it’s great, finally a brand that offers gluten-free menus, I can’t believe it, it’s just wonderful. But I think they are offering this without really being aware of the very serious risks of celiac disease. So I show up in Gerpinnes, I order a hamburger and fries, all gluten-free, I'm told OK, they're going to the kitchen….and then we come back and they tell me that it won't be possible because they had to use the fryer gluten free for other customers because they were overwhelmed. Fortunately I insisted on knowing if the fryer had only cooked gluten-free foods…. I tell myself it doesn't matter, it happens, I take my phone and I call the Charleroi brand and I ask to know if it is possible to have a gluten-free menu and if there is a fryer which is dedicated to that and which has not been used for anything else… They answer me yes yes of course we have that. It's great, so I set off and when I got there I first ordered a fries, I was told that it's not possible to order just one fries, so I ordered an extra hamburger and I 'wait patiently. Alas… He comes back from the kitchen telling me that the fryer was used for something other than gluten blood… I couldn't believe it, I called to check, and I came miles to come….to Nothing. Results they offer gluten blood but are not aware of the risks. If we don't insist on knowing what was in the fryer, we won't be told. And despite my phone call to check, I found myself driving 60 km for nothing in one evening. Bad experience never again

A place where the hostess herself has celiac disease and knows exactly what is and is not possible. Of the main courses, only the game stew contained gluten, and the thickened sauces are also all gluten-free. The Ardennaise sauce (bound mushroom sauce with Ardennes ham) was extremely tasty and in large quantities. For the desserts, the cream and sorbet ice cream are both gluten-free.

We ate delicious pizzas from Il Venti. We had 8 pizzas, 1 of which was gluten free for the whole family. We thought the pizza carpaccio and pollo was the tastiest. We had to wait a little longer but it was worth it.

Very cozy restaurant with charming and authentic interior. As a person with celiac disease who cannot eat gluten, it is sometimes difficult to find a restaurant that takes this into account. The owners took this very much into account and had even cleaned out their separate fryer as a preventive measure (!) I enjoyed a baked salmon with a delicious salad and fries. My friend had a stew that was also very tasty. We will definitely come back when we are in the Ardennes again!
