The restaurant has a very central and yet relatively quiet location. There is a small outdoor area as well as a very nice, manageable but not too small indoor area. The menu includes a well-selected number of dishes. Many dishes are available vegan/vegetarian and can also be prepared gluten-free. The gluten-free pizza marinara and the spaghetti carbonara were very tasty! There are also ice cream and other desserts, which are also gluten-free. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and responded to every request (e.g. allergens) in a very targeted manner. All around great! I'll be back :)

Perfect as always. Being gluten-free and lactose-free and sensitive to contamination, I have been eating there with my eyes closed for several years. I went to the bakery on Friday and literally everything I bought was amazingly tasty. I’ve been a coeliac for over 15 years and it was the best bread in the sandwich I have tasted. Also had a brownie and a pastry for the next day. Just delicious, the owner and actually another regular customer went out of their way to help me in English explaining what everything was. Terrible customer care from one of the two ladies. It’s funny to read very old comments about the customer care of this place and to realize that nothing has changed very much. I went to this place for the first time last week looking for a small gluten free cake. The lady on the cashier was very nice, very politely said the cakes need to be ordered, which seems fair to me. Nevertheless she wanted to make sure the info was correct and went to the kitchen to confirm with her colleague. The colleague went out and said to me: “do you think I have a magic wand?” Perplexity from my side, I don’t speak very good German so wasn’t sure I was understanding right. “Yes, do you think I’m Harry Potter and have a magic wand?”. What kind of answer is that? Is strange to ask in a gluten free bakery if they have gluten free cakes? I’m still astonished. My advice, keep that lady in the kitchen, she clearly doesn’t know how to talk to clients. Unfortunately I can’t talk about the products they bake, and I will never as I don’t intend to go there again.

The birthday party was simply great, even though the "birthday child" wasn't feeling so well at the moment. The restaurant was the perfect choice, the food was excellent, an unforgettable evening. We would especially like to thank you for the great service! The bear boss was so accommodating and first treated my partner because he had injured himself. Gave my daughter perfect advice regarding celiac disease. I can hardly put it into words because such great service at the table has become very rare. But we were always well served at Bären Buchsi and always enjoy coming back. Everything is perfect from the reservation to the farewell. Even if the restaurant is full. Warm welcome, from Lucerne.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the Sporrer restaurant last night. The service is very nice and attentive, the food was very good. There are menus to choose from for vegetarians, meat eaters and those with gluten intolerance. We enjoyed a great non-alcoholic cocktail for the aperitif. We stayed in the evening, but during the day it has a terrace and large windows with a great view. There is also a playground if you come with children and plenty of parking spaces. We would love to come back, we enjoyed the evening. Regarding the expenses per person: We had an aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, wine and tap water and spent between 90-100 francs per person.

Fantastic and comfortable place, close to the center. The staff is super nice and friendly and the food is delicious. I really recommend it to everyone, since they also have some gluten free options and even a couple of vegan things! I will definitely go there again!

I actually love Andy's Place. Brilliantly decorated and absolutely delicious food. However, it has happened to me twice now that I ordered gluten-free and ended up with the normal burger... That's more than annoying because in the end I didn't have any of the delicious food... I was apologized for. However, it brings one that very little... So you have to point this out when ordering and ask again before you bite into the burger... otherwise you'll have a disaster... it's just a shame, because I'm generally happy that there are alternatives and you don't just have to eat salad if you're intolerance . So all in all a great restaurant in American style with a rock'n'roll feeling. However, ordering the gluten-free dishes hasn't worked yet... at least in my case. Depending on how intolerant you are, you really have to be on your guard.

13 May, ordered sandwich in German: "einmal Joe's club Glutenfrei." I received a sandwich with gluten instead. I realized after a few bites and I am celiac so this was not pleasant. I went back in to ask if it is glutenfree and the lady at counter said I never ordered "glutenfrei". She did not come up with a solution and kept defending it was my fault. Not allergy-friendly.

This place was AMAZING. We had fantastic wine along with our delicious sandwiches, probably the best sandwich we have ever had. They are also very celiac friendly. Don’t even think about it, just go here!
