I’ve heard such amazing things about this place so I was really excited to try it. I ordered my food on Uber eats so that may have made the difference with dine out. The pizza was OK, I didn’t love the cheese and there wasn’t a lot of sauce. However, the bread was great especially gluten-free. The fries were a little bit cold so that might be why they weren’t so good but I wasn’t in love. And the mac & cheese was OK. It was probably the best thing out of all three items that I tried. I just wish it had more cheese. I would definitely try it again, but would try different items or in person this time.
A vibrant spot with creative dishes and heartwarming vibes that’ll make you want to return for more delicious adventures!

On a Thursday evening a few weeks back, we called in a takeout order. Originally I had ordered a gluten free pizza, but Alfredo called us back to notify us that they were out of gf dough. Instead, we opted for the following: the kids’ gluten free mac and cheese (I am cheesy), a side salad (such a deal!), and GF I Am Beloved (an elevated version of the classic mac with a brisket-like lions mane mushroom/butternut squash/Brussel sprouts situation. Talk about a flavor explosion!
When we arrived, Alfredo explained the loyalty program - sign up and get $10 off your first order. He seamlessly allowed us to honor the offer on our visit. His thoughtfulness and customer service, coupled with the delicious food, made for a lovely evening. I wish there was a Cafe Gratitude in NYC because I would be there on a weekly basis for their clean eating, kindness, and good vibes! Also, I need the key lime pie ASAP.
Enjoy a welcoming vibe and attentive service with a menu full of variety that feels like a cozy home-cooked experience.

Amazing Amazing Amazing!! I have been to other Urban Plates but I Enjoyed this one for sure. Came with my coworker he's from San Diego and showed him this spot since we were on lunch. We met Karla I believe she was new ( I'm sorry if I got her name wrong) and she is amazing at Customer service being patient and kind as my coworker was orderering. She didn't rush but she was Patient and was also able to help us in Customer Service. Not only that but she went above and beyond but I can tell she was kind and so was other employees who took our plate and offered to even replenish our drinks and take our Plates. Love your Services!! I ordered the Steak platter with Brussel sprouts and mash potatoes and other was a Burger I forget what kind but we also purchased a Cookie with a complementary cookie. I enjoyed my meal today felt like I was cooking at home. Over all steak was super juicy mash potatoes had flavor so as the brussel sprouts. The gluten-free brunch of my dreams. Came here on New Year’s Day (yes they were open) and was greeted with open arms. Everything on the menu is gluten-free, so fresh and delicious. I had the breakfast sandwich as well as the persimmon ricotta toast, and the chocolate chip sea salt cookie. I also got a Matcha latte and just wow so good. Every bite I took was better than the next and the waiters were so kind and accommodating. They get their gluten-free bread all the way from San Francisco and it is a delicacy extreme. Cannot recommend this place enough.
A cozy hidden gem with unique flavors, tasty breakfast bowls, and irresistible desserts that keep everyone coming back for more!

Got the grand slam. Never would have guessed the pancakes were both vegan and gluten free. Everything was delicious. The sausage and eggs are definitely vegan, but taste great. Service was excellent, excited to try other things.
This spot offers a unique twist on soul food with a creative menu, amazing desserts, and beautiful plating that will leave you wanting more.

Absolutely top tier gluten free breakfast burritos. The Mediterranean flavors of the Hiho wrap were awesome and everything was super fresh and well made. Pretty much everything can be made GF here so I highly recommend for anyone with celiacs.

We had a very nice server and there’s a great ambiance at Scopa, perfect for dates and connecting with friends alike. They have a gorgeous bar, large window, candles on the tables, and all of our food came perfectly coursed. We were easily able to make a same-day reservation via the Resy app, and I do recommend making a reservation in advance because it was popping when we arrived. For parking, you can either park in the connected valet lot ($13 on a Monday) or look for free street parking (we found it pretty easily, but then again it was a Monday).
There are the top four absolute must-order items you should order to share:
1. Hot Antipasti - Scallops Oreganata ($23) with brown butter, bread crumbs, & lemon. I’m gluten free so I asked for no breadcrumbs, and I also recommend ordering a side of gluten free bread to dip in the brown butter after you finish enjoying the scallops because they have the absolute best gluten free cheesecheese bread! They only came with 2 scallops in an order so consider ordering enough so each person can have at least 1 full scallop.
2. Hot Antipasti - Mortadella Meatballs ($21) with pistachio pesto, arugula, & parmesan cheese. This came with 3 medium-large sized meatballs covered in a delicious green pesto - don’t let looks deceive you, even if this isn’t how you expect meatballs to look they’re delish.
3. Cold Antipasti - Heirloom Tomatoes ($18) with sweet onion, basil, ricotta salata cheese, sherry vinegar, & olive oil. If you enjoy tomatoes of all shapes and sizes, this is the dish for you. My favorite were the little orange tomatoes.
4. Salad - Raw Brussels Sprouts Salad ($22) with generous pecorino romano cheese, parsley, grapes, olive oil, sherry vinegar, & toasted almonds. This was a good portion size and the best raw Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had.
While I did really enjoy the flavor of oysters themselves and their sauces, and I do want to put them as item 5 to order, each of the oysters had some shell bits had to spit out, and it only came with 1 spoon and 0 mini forks. The oysters come with lemon slices, cocktail sauce, shredded horseradish, mignonette, and are $4.50 each with a minimum of 6. I would order them again, but enjoy them carefully and hope that they’re shucked better next time.
However…
Maybe things were off because it was a Monday and they had multiple large last minute parties walk in. Maybe I should have gone for the pastas instead of the below because it is an Italian restaurant. Maybe I’m just a person who enjoys more seasoning on seafood or less sauce on pork chops, but a few of the dishes weren’t exactly as good as I was expecting.
Unless you love canned tuna, absolutely avoid the Sicilian Tuna Cold Antipasti ($19) with market green beans, fingerling potato, capers, lemon, & olive oil. It wasn’t until we mentioned to our server our strong disappointment with the dish, as we were expecting either Tuna Crudo or Seared Tuna, that our server told us that he usually steers guests away from it. It also had zero seasoning, and boy did it need it. It also feels like this dish should have automatically been served with crackers.
The Amberjack Crudo ($25) with watermelon radish, bulls blood micro greens, & herb oil needed a combo-sauce or a stronger flavored oil, as it was very bland as-is. Luckily not a fishy-fish, but still lackluster for their only fish crudo on the menu.
For the Mains, they were already sold out of the 24oz T-bone Steak ($82) when we arrived, and the server recommended the Pork Chop. The generous portion of Pork Chop ($66) came with crispy fingerling potatoes, roasted shallots, olives, capers, garlic, balsamic vinegar, & fresh herbs. The balsamic was more of a thick, sweet, heavy glaze, and it overpowered the meat. Personally, we both felt it was over-sauced.
With a rustic-industrial vibe and an impressive menu, this spot is all about fresh flavors and creative dishes that keep diners coming back.

I did not have any expectations coming into this restaurant, but little did I know that I was going to have a spectacular brunch at this fine place! Not only was the service amazing because of our server who was attentive and bubbly, but the food which was fantastic. I tried the hazelnut latte and Minted matcha iced latte which were both very delicious. The matcha had a subtle sweetness, tartness and was just so smooth and rich. Aside from the drinks, the appetizers were jaw dropping. The grilled cheese dippers was inexplicably delectable, there was so much flavor and the garlic aioli added such a beautiful essence to the dish. Grilled cheese done the right way! The pumpkin chai hotcakes were vegan and gluten free, tasted sweet and felt like autumn with each bite. It was a very enjoyable item and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a sweet treat. Lastly was the rustic wagyu steak sandwich. I was a bit weary about it since i'm not a big blue cheese person, but I was truly astonished by how much the flavors were enhanced by the sour taste of the cheese! It really turned out to be such a flavorful experience. I had such a great experience here and I would definitely suggest trying this place if you haven't already!

A wonderful place for some of the best-tasting food. My soup was homemade-like, the tuna salad sandwich was tasty and heated. The avocado toast was the best I've ever had. And the chocolate cake—just order a slice. Yes, it's all gluten-free, but don't pass it up if you're not on a GF diet, as it's a healthy alternative to most places.

I absolutely recommend this place for the best gluten free fried chicken in LA! it’s so crispy and tasty we are 100% coming back here to try more items on the menu and to get the family bucket. The lady who served us was also so nice and kind. Everything we ordered was so tasty, even the pickle and the green sauce - outstanding. Can’t wait to come back for more. Also it’s important to note that they validate parking 🙌🏼

I’m leaving this bad review here so that Great White hopefully fixes its delivery and customer service. I’ve been a customer for many years and I will say: they have the worst service ever when it comes to ordering food through their app as they frequently forget to add the items (sides, sauces, key ingredients - you name it) you paid extra for. This time I ordered an avocado breakfast burrito that came without avocado, bacon and any sauce (it was just basically eggs, tortilla and potatoes). I paid $6 for 2 pieces of halloumi cheese. $2 for additional gluten free bread that didn’t come. Last few times? No bacon in the Great White breaky, no extra sauces (that we paid for) etc. You try to call any of their numbers and no member ever picks up. You email [email protected] and they simply don’t answer. There’s no refund option on their app. Their customer service is simply nonexistent.
A must-visit for breakfast lovers, with standout pancakes and unique vegan options that keep folks coming back for more!

Exceptional gluten free celiac safe pizza, in LA !!!
I have celiac disease, so finding safe joints to enjoy a warm pie is always tough. I called here ahead of time to ask if they can cater to someone with celiac, and the manager who picked up the phone (his name is Fred) was so nice!
Absolutely outstanding customer service. I felt right at home. I'll be completely honest though, as good as the pizza was, I've had tastier GF pizza in LA. However, I'll be darned to ever find customer service as amazing as I did tonight, so I'm not even complaining. 5-stars all-around!

Located near the Venice Pier, The cow’s end has nothing but a pleasant smell of coffee and delicious food. :)
We stopped here for coffee and because they had gluten-free options on the menu, my wife got a gluten-free avocado toast and a gluten-free donut to go. The staff was very friendly and you could tell this is a place that locals and visitors alike spend time and enjoy the ambience.
When we were there, we met friendly dogs and local people.

Gluten-free pastries! The chocolate bandana bread is GF magic. Dark chocolate, most, rich, not too sweet, with chewy edges. Yum.
The GF berry muffin is good too. I wish it had a bit more bake time, the top would be great with a touch of broiling. The matcha lavender latte was great too. Not too sweet.
Kick back with evening beers at this American pub's welcoming ambiance known for its stellar service.

I often use the Yard House as a go to restaurant when trying to accommodate a large group. They have lots of seating and a menu that can accommodate most dietary restrictions (I.e. vegan and gluten free). The food is decent but not special but the large selection is nice with a group. They also have a great selection of craft beer.
Experience a fun, retro vibe with endless gourmet burger combinations and a cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger.

THE COUNTER is part of an international chain of casual, mid-century, American diners. The high-end eatery's gourmet burgers and extensive list of toppings and sides combine into over a million combinations.* (So you can order a different burger combination, for lunch, for about 2,700 years, without once repeating.)
Sherri, the franchise owner, stopped by to tell me about her eatery. Reminiscent of a 50's malt shop, it's designed with comfortable booths and space between tables. (The only thing missing is a jukebox.) Place settings are simple. Condiments and extra napkins are displayed on every table. A beer and wine bar stretches across the restaurant's east wall. (Sherri is proud of the selection of "Reds.")
The menu offers 9 animal and vegetable proteins. The buns: wheat, gluten free, vegan, and a lettuce wrap are interchangeable. There are 28 toppings, 12 cheeses, 20 sauces, and 12 sides. Mix and match as you like.
Organic products are used whenever possible. The menu is annotated with dietary information.
I ordered a vegan Impossible Burger with several toppings, prepared medium rare. Lots of restaurants offer Impossible Burgers but not one, so far, has been able to cook it medium rare.
In short order the tallest burger I've ever seen arrived. I don't have a ruler, but my best guess is that the sandwich is about 6 inches tall. It arrived open-face, loaded, as ordered, with a thick, medium rare, Impossible Burger, shredded lettuce, tomato, fried onions, and cucumber slices, piled high on a lightly toasted Ciabatta roll, gently spread with a refreshing vegan mayo.
Before closing the sandwich, I added a dollop of ketchup. Then holding the middle of the sandwich, I took nibbles along the edge. The nibbles turn into bites as I devoured the sandwich. The chef prepared it perfectly. I had also ordered Shoe String Fries. The combination is absolutely delicious. But, try as I might, I left quite a few fries.
The well trained staff is gracious, and friendly. They checked to see if everything was okay. It was.
Expensive, yes. Worth it, definitely.
STUFF: Easy free parking in the rear of the eatery. Walking up the ramp or a few steps takes you to The Counter's rear entrance. Follow the hallway into the dining room. The code, to unlock the large, clean restrooms, can be supplied by any staff member. Everything is ADA compatible.
*Jeff Weinstein opened the first "The Counter" eatery (2003) in Santa Monica California. During the following twenty-three years the chain has grown to 45 locations worldwide: United States, Mexico, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, and Japan.
A charming spot near the 10/110 interchange, offering a cozy vibe, ample seating, and a diverse menu perfect for a quick work break.

Ugh.
Food based on fresh produce (omelette with real eggs, the banana bread is great), all gluten-free.
We arrived around 8:20 a.m., 1st customers in the room.
Very noisy environment, it's even worse in the room than near their counter: noise from fridges and/or air conditioning and/or coffee grinding constantly. The 3 together is unbearable.
High prices, room cleaning not optimal.
The tallest waitress is also the only one who really smiles; the other one seemed annoyed just talking to us. The cook did not respond to our hello.
Super cute shop, nice staff, and great coffee. I had a lavender oatmilk latte and a slice of gluten free orange chia seed loaf. Both were so delicious. My favourite coffee ship in LA.
