Extremely poor service that did not attempt to cater for my gluten free dietary requirements nor have knowledge of what gluten is.
I waited in line to order my food and then was told I couldn’t order at the counter and had to order at the table. I then waited at the table (right in front of the counter), then had to ask for someone to come to take my order.
The same person from behind the counter came to take my order. I asked for the bacon & egg sandwich but on gluten free bread. When I mentioned it was for an allergy and to let the kitchen know, he responded with ‘it’s got egg and cheese though’ -which egg and cheese is not gluten.
I then had to educate him explaining cross contamination and that extra care gets taken with the cooking utensils. This is not usually an issue as I’ve eaten here before.
He then insisted that he couldn’t cater for me.
This server was rude from the moment I arrived and made something as simple as ordering a sandwich so difficult. I left and went elsewhere
A charming breakfast spot with delicious offerings and a welcoming vibe, perfect for a cozy morning with loved ones.

I come to this spot each time I’m in Sydney. The gluten free vegetarian breakfast is amongst the best in Town. A proper locally owned neighbourhood cafe.
A vibrant spot with a cozy vibe, fantastic service, and a menu packed with creative options for all tastes, perfect for a night out or special gatherings!

Delicious, great little gem in Glebe. Lovely little spot, Halloumi and lamb shoulder are excellent and can definitely recommend. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who were very accommodating with gluten free options for my wife who is Coeliac

Do not recommend for coeliacs. They did try to make it gluten free so if GF is a life style choice or someone can tolerate small amounts should be ok. But NOT ok for coeliacs. They use the same toaster for both normal gluten containing products and GF. They did try and use separate utensils, chopping boards, butter... but they toasted the bun on the same tray. My husband reacted badly that night. They did try, but for those who are assessing risk as a coeliac it's not safe.
There's a somewhat fantastical vibe to walk through a bookshop to reach a cultured cafe area with classical music playing in the background. Great food. Gluten free options available.
Enjoy a dreamy atmosphere with unique vegan desserts that'll make your taste buds dance; it's a must-visit spot on the Central Coast!

Wow! Amazing pastries and food options! Loved the gluten free sweet potato waffle. Friendly awesome customer service! Favourite was probably the yuzu cheesecake pastry. Was so delicious! Cute atmosphere and highly recommend! It’s about a 25-30 minute walk from the city or a little longer on the light rail but worth it
One of my favourite cafes on a street that has so many that it's hard to differentiate. The coffee and food are great and reasonably priced, they actually stay open until later in the day compared to most others, and they're one of the few cafes in the area that offer free wifi. A few nice gluten free options as well.
Delicious cakes and unique dishes like pumpkin ravioli create a cozy vibe, perfect for a quiet night away from the crowds.

Beautiful pastry and cake selection. We have tried the takeaway cakes before, which are always lovely. But tonight was dinner, so we gave it a go! Delicious ravioli with pumpkin and burnt sage butter. They give you warm bread to soak up the sauce from the pasta. The Gluten Free chocolate cake was very rich but wonderful. Fresh juice was just what we needed to wash it all down. It's often quieter at night time so pro tip: beat the crowds and eat here instead of the busy food court. Great service with a smile. Cheers!
Enjoy a warm atmosphere with attentive service and fresh, high-quality offerings that create a delightful dining experience.

Had a lovely time at Esca. I had read the reviews, and was a little nervous, but we had a great experience. The manager was very welcoming, even preparing a special gluten-free meal, and the food was good quality and fresh. Perhaps we were just incredibly fortunate, but overall, there was nothing to fault.
The delicious aroma wafts up from below, hinting at flavorful, fresh dishes that keep everyone craving more.

I'm from one of the apartments upstairs so I smell the food being cooked and it always smells great. I tried it today, and it *is* great. I like vegetarian, gluten free and I could get this here... really tasty fresh dal is my thing and I got it here. Yay.
