Bought a Groupon voucher for Pier 35 and enjoyed dining last night. The food was brilliant, the service was friendly and timely and a location looking across the river was fantastic as the sun set. They were happy to accommodate my partner's gluten free requirements. Fully recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Excellent and cosy restaurant. Staff are super friendly, they make you feel at home, and they stay around you all the time. Food is authentic middle eastern classy, and delicious. I stayed close to the kitchen, enjoyed watching the cooking—lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options. I love it, and I will definitely come back again.

It is always a pleasure to stop in here for a coffee or brunch. It really is the best Cafe in Bay Street! The funky collectibles as pendant lights and the colourful bench seating create a cosy vibe and the big smile of the barista as you pass make you feel truly welcome, even if you only come every 6 months or so (like me!). The food is beautifully presented, always creative and often gluten free (yay!). The staff are so accommodating that if you say you are sharing a dish, they will even split into two bowls and garnish each beautifully!

Everything about this cafe works! The staff the coffees the food. Really impressed with this establishment. Try the scrambled chilli eggs - delicious. Good gluten free options also.
A variety of seating areas are available affording different amounts of privacy and also a choice to sit inside or outside depending on the weather. Just a block from the beach, the breeze off the ocean lends to the atmosphere.
The cafe is usually quite busy, with a queue forming even on some weekday mornings. My partner and I have opted to sit in for our morning coffee. Although we have not ordered food, everything ordered by those around us seemed to have been made with care and looks good. The prices seem a bit high for what is served but they have a great variety of food including some tailored to vegetarian and gluten-free patrons.
The staff was able to answer questions about the menu and coffee readily; however, never wrote down our order. Despite the fact that we only ordered two coffees (one for each of us) on our first trip in my coffee was served hot instead of over ice and on our second trip in our server had to return to the table to confirm what we had ordered. When the coffee arrived it was flavorful and to our liking, particularly the iced mocha ordered by my partner which came in an sundae glass and was well-presented. The servers do seem a bit confused at times, perhaps a few of them are new, as we were brought someone else's coffee and our coffee went to another table. From this standpoint, staff training, attention to detail, and speed of food/drinks arriving to the table could be improved.
If you are looking for a cafe with a good vibe, delicious coffee, and a variety of food options, this is a great local spot! Just be a little patient with the staff and enjoy your surroundings while you wait for your coffee to be crafted.
