I am always very happy with my experience here, the coffee, the gluten-free baked goods (Sweetened with maple syrup!!), and my chats with the owner. Definitely buy their beans if you're a coffee conoseur! Thank you for actually fulfilling my request for an "extra hot" beverage!

Met up with two friends for dinner before a movie. First time here and the moment we stepped in we were acknowledged and seated. They have a gluten free menu. Our server, Jappan, was very attentive and friendly she kept checking on us as we were talking and deciding on what to eat. Two of us decided to have the Simple Burger with a gluten free bun and the chicken salt fries, it was delicious and just the right amount of food.
There was a little mix up with our order being received by the kitchen, the server told us about it and was very apologetic. I loved that she was honest and kept us informed as to when our food would come out.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if I am back in the area, I would go there again.

I have to this place a few times over the past few weeks for business meetings. I was so impressed I took my wife for dinner tonight. Again great food and service. My wife has gluten allergies so we had the gluten friendly crust. The best gluten friendly pizza around.

Without a doubt the best Lebanese food in the lower mainland, the Falafel is always freshly made and from scratch compared to powdered premixed falafel other competitors serve , the ingredients are of good quality , the service is relatively fast considering the fact that your eating freshly cooked food , there are many good deals like the party trays and different platters and so many meat , vegetarian and gluten free options, the portions are very generous.
With the global increase in food cost , the meals are priced well . I`m lucky to live few minutes away , I frequently eat there or order trays for events , I have tried all items on the menu and everything tasted delicious , I also visit Mouneh next door for authentic lebanese and middle eastern food supplies and in house baked goods , you should give it a try .
A busy family restaurant known for its early hours and cozy booths, offering affordable meal options, but quality seems to have dipped recently.

I went for the first time a couple days ago, very busy place , I had come on the Victoria Day weekend and there was a wait list , so came back earlier morning the next day and got in fine. I found the food was great and a very reasonable plateful so to speak. The service was excellent, the kitchen took a while, like 20 min between ordering and food, so don't go in a rush on a busy day. Actually my main point is that I appreciate the "55 and over" reduced meal price on the half dozen fixed option menu they have for the price of a breakfast, lunch or supper meal...great idea ... It was certainly enough for a moderate appetite...
I also appreciate that they have gluten free pancakes ...
The coffee may cost a bit more than " Timmies" but they leave you a fresh, hot, insulated coffee " urn" to just refill your own coffee to your heart's content rather than trying to catch the waitresses eye.
An oat milk dairy alternative would be good, they just have cream or milk...
The booths are super comfy. It's a chain but the staff seem very organized and run more like a family restaurant in my books. They give the tables a good clean between clients.
August 2023 add'n I'd just add that your ave bill will definately be over 20 with a meal and a drink, for most of the menu. However, they have lower cost meals for " over 55." Which I had for this original review.
Also I have since discovered they have early specials for any age before 9 a.m.
Also on the way out I noticed a neon handwritten sign about " children eat free" but didn't get the details. I'll post the " before 9 a.m. " shirt menu and an updated general menu with the " over 55 " choices, a bit smaller but what would still be within a normal sized meal vs gargantuan portions
Overall I was very impressed for a restaurant offering traditional breakfast , lunch and supper. Opens nice and early , closes 8 pm , breakfast offered.
This local gem offers artisan bread with a rich, natural flavor that really captures the essence of traditional baking—definitely worth a visit!

Very nice bakery, pleasant staff, wonderfully pleasant owner , they make a great gluten free bread that has substance yet is moist, mainly buckwheat and quinoa as opposed to GF loaves that are mainly refined starches... they keep some frozen that to me is virtually the same as fresh baked .
Also a GF brownie large slice and one serving size GF cheesecake. Their large apple slice NOT gluten free ) is fantastic... Closes at 3 pm and Sunday/Mondays

I am very disappointed in this place. Came for the first time and the service was terrible. Not very friendly at all.
To my celiac people please stay away...not celiac safe. The cake pops are stored open right beside non gluten free cake pops. I watched a girl (worker) grab tongs from the non gluten free croissants with crumbs and all on them and grab a gluten free cake pop. I was so shocked and glad I took a packaged gluten free banana bread. I am celiac and very sensitive to even a crumb. To me and seemed like they think gluten free is a fad. No care taken at all.
This spot is all about good vibes, happy hours, and a unique music display, making it perfect for chill hangouts with friends.

Had an amazing experience at Earls Grandview on Thursday night! Our server, Hayley, was fantastic—attentive and friendly. Austin, the guest experience manager on duty, went above and beyond by comping two desserts when they found out we were celebrating something. The food was incredible—steak frites were better than The Keg, and the sushi tacos and pizzas were delicious. The new plant based burger (perfect for my vegan husband) was much better than the processed impossible burger they used to have. (Good job on the switch Earls!!!). They also had great gluten-aware options, which was perfect for my daughter who was recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance, and myself who has a GF prefercence. The mocktails were refreshing and creative and the prosecco was delicious. Outstanding service and food—we’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful place with great food and great service. Chicken and Avocado Omelette was very tasty! Very happy that they provide gluten-free options, and have a clear menu showing which menu items are gluten-free. Good experience all-around; will definitely be back.

Wife and I came here from outside the area (planning to visit the beach afterwards) for breakfast on January 1, 2023. Very positive experience -- food was great and our server was wonderful. So glad that they were able to accommodate a gluten-intolerance as well.

I have been at this location many times, and has always been a positive experience. I just ordered the Chicken Santa Fe Salad, and I left a note mentioning my dietary restrictions as a Celiac. I really appreciate the staff member who took the time to write a hand written message letting me know that they got my note about being Celiac, and confirmed that the tortilla strips on the top were gluten free! It probably took little time, but made me feel a lot more confident enjoying my meal. And of course, the salad was a 10/10!!!

Child friendly and have a nice child meanu.
A bit pricey, but the quality of the food is definitely better than other fast food restarants!

Best soups and oat bar I have had in a cafe. I really enjoy wholesome soups filled with veges and bars that aren’t too sweet and nutrient dense and this place does just that. Everything is homemade or made to order. They also offer various gluten free options. This cafe offers nutritious meals and snacks that are very tasty . Highly recommend.
Lots of selection and variety. I selected a gluten free option and it was different for sure. Not as soft as regular crepes but I guess that is to be expected from alternative grains. The fruit that accompanied it was fresh, sweet and we'll presented. Portions are generous and service was fast. Will definitely return
This spot stands out for its accommodating vibe and tasty unique bun that makes every visit a delight!

The team at this store is amazing! My father is celiac but enjoys coming here as the staff are knowledgeable about his allergy and very accommodating. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is clean to avoid cross-contamination so he can still enjoy his sandwich worry free. Thank you so much!!

I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best coffee I've ever had. I usually get the oat milk latte but always have to try the seasonal and special drinks she makes all by hand. Not that SB was ever amazing but I literally can't even drink it anymore, I'm too spoiled with this coffee- with the added bonus of supporting a small local business. And don't get me started on the peanut butter cookie sandwich, wow. Lots of vegan options and even some gluten free ones as well. They're friendly to top it off. If you've been thinking of trying Everbean, don't hesitate!

This is a friendly dining place with mainstream North American food. They do have very limited gluten free and vegetarian dishes, but not ideal for vegetarians and vegans to dine in and enjoy the full menu.

Eating out without getting fat can be tough. To keep your pants from getting too tight, you need to mix in a salad once a while. For a tasty salad that isn't rabbit food, check out the Chopped Leaf.
As someone who could happily eat a cheeseburger everyday of his life, I was skeptical of a place that specializes in salads. The Chopped Leaf offers a nice variety of fresh salads that are straight forward, fresh, and full of flavor. These are not some vegan hipster raw food hoity toity concoctions full of lettuces that look and taste like weeds. I prefer the Bangkok salad, the sesame dressing with a hint of hot and spicy is excellent. It even has chicken and noodles. Try it!
The sandwiches and wraps are good, but they are a bit pricey for what you get. Stick with the salads. If you are going to be eating healthy, go for the maximum helping of healthy.
Having to pay for the "chopped" water, a citrus and fruit infused water that they have on tap, seems like a bit of a cash grab. Ordering an entree should include water in my humble opinion. Most places give you water with lemon for free. You can send a text and get a "free" water to lessen the hit on your wallet.
This is going to come off as chauvinistic, but the restaurant comes across as a place targeted for women. Lots of salads, big sign about gluten free, no fries, no beer, no desserts, no tvs with sports. Pretty obvious that the target demographic is not the typical male. I even heard someone say that "my husband would never come here" when having a lunch with my wife. My advice to guys would be to slyly suggest going here as a way to win some brownie points, just don't be too overt about it or else your wife or girlfriend will think that you think they are fat and need to eat a salad. You don't want that. If you're better half suggests the chopped leaf it is the safest way to try it.
Joking aside, the chopped leaf is great option for someone with dietary restrictions. They have many carb free and gluten free options.
So, when your buttons are bursting, or you want to "eat healthy", try a Chopped Leaf salad. Take it from this junk food junkie, they are actually really good.
Takeout is a hit here, with perfectly cooked options and unique half-size dishes that keep cravings at bay while impressing with flavors.

Service was fabulous and we really appreciated the amount of gluten friendly options as well as the ability to order a half size pasta. I must say the have the best nachos ever.
Giving 1 star because 0 is not a option. I ordered a bc chicken burger combo with no tomato no cheese and no bacon and on a Gluten Free Bun because I have a GLUTEN ALLERGY. Come to find out after I had eaten my burger that it infact was NOT made on a gluten free bun. NOW I'm mad because of the affect this will have on my health. I was offered another order on the house because it was the worker who had taken my orders mistake but this will not make up for the consequence this will have on my health. Safe to say I am very upset and not pleased by the carelessness of the worker who had taken my order.

I visited this cafe for the first time with a friend for lunch. It was busy but they had good social distancing measures in place. The cafe has a cute and modern decor with clean and bright interiors. The food was fresh and they had a variety of gluten-free options. I tried the chili chicken sandwich and baileys latte, both of which were delicious. I would highly recommend this place to everyone and I plan to come back to try more items from their menu.

I ordered an avocado toast with egg on top and it was delicious with balsamic vinegar drizzled over. My husband ordered the Blackstone Benny’s (which is a version of eggs Benedict) with tenderly poached eggs on top of toasted chewy English muffins, and their signature hash brown fries on the side! All the ingredients were very fresh, and made to perfection, and our orders were ready surprisingly quickly, which was great because I was super hungry. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the environment was clean.
Note: the hash brown fries are gluten-free
Love their food. They have gluten-free options as well. Also, love their decor. The staff is friendly and has a positive environment and good people. Everything on their menu is mouthwatering 👌
My wife and I got married in August of 2019 and used Ritz for our catering.
Throughout the process we had good open communication throughout the process, working with us both from the beginning with a tasting, and throughout as we had guests confirm & inform us of their dietary needs.
Ritz was able to accommodate vegans, gluten free options, and several allergies without problem, all while catering the event at a private residence for the backyard.
On the day they arrived on time to begin their set up, working with our other vendors in getting things ready - with a very nice clean table set up for our guests and were quick to address any issues (we had an unexpected guests and a impromptu table change, and they were quick to adjust and reset spots), as well as work with us as our timeline inevitably got pushed back.
The food was very good, with lots of options for everyone to choose from, and plenty for our guests to have seconds -- and in some cases thirds. Our vegan guests said it was the best vegan offering they had ever had at a wedding.
After the dinner was complete they served dessert and drinks -- again well received by our guests -- and were cleaned up and out of the house on time.
Throughout the night they had used my in-laws kitchen for preparing food, and once they had left my mother in law came out to tell me that the kitchen was spotless and there was no further cleaning required.
Overall we were very happy with the service we received from Ritz and would happily work with them again in the future

We have tried veggie pakora from so many places in and around Delta up to Fleetwood. We don’t mind the drive to here because Pak Punjab makes huge pakoras for one, loaded with aromatic spices, cilantro, spinach, onion,
Potato. They are the only ones that load up the pakora with lots of vegetables and flavour is spot on. The value you get is awesome. Everywhere else you get lots of fried dough with onions and some piece of potato. You must get your pakoras here! Bonus they are gluten free as they are made from channa (chickpea flour).

Where do I even start. I haven't had such good Indian food in so long. I tried so many Indian restaurants in Vancouver but nothing has come close to real Indian street food. But I literally felt like I was in Bombay/Delhi eating the street food. The restaurant has great ambience and liveliness. The service was super solid, the server was so good and genuine and had a lot of knowledge. Being super busy, she was able to remember all the orders. The owner of the restaurant came to to check on us and the server as well multiple times. And the best part, they include vegan and gluten free options and the servers will tell you about those so it's very allergy friendly. I will definitely be going back and taking my friends and family. Binyami, vada pav and bhel puri ate a must try.

I ordered the Mango Mania smoothie and the Turkey bacon avocado wrap in the gluten free option, and I was blown away by how fresh and tasty everything was! The smoothie tasted like freshly squeezed fruits, and the wrap kept me full and gave me the energy I needed to get me through the day. Will definitely be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family!
Food and atmosphere were fine; standard for White Spot.
Service was where they really fell off. I asked if I could order from the kids' menu as I'm a bariatric patient and can't eat full sized servings. The server didn't seem sure if he could do that (we got the sense he was new to working at this restaurant), so he got his manager. When I asked her if I could do this, explaining that other White Spots allowed me to do this without batting an eye, she came back with, "Which ones?" with very obvious (and very unnecessary) doubt in her voice. I quickly listed off the no fewer than four or five locations that have no issue with me doing this. She said that she'd let me do this, "just this once," and then left.
I really don't appreciate this kind of "service". I'm basically explaining that I have a medical condition that prevents me from eating full sized servings and asked for very reasonable and simple accommodations to be made for me. If I were ordering this to go, there would be *zero* conversation about this. If I said I was allergic to hazelnuts and ordered a dessert with hazelnuts put on top of it, the kitchen would remove the hazelnuts without second thought. If I said I was Celiac, the kitchen would make sure there would be no cross contamination in preparing my food without second thought. This really isn't all that different so why do I get all this attitude?
Add to that, they quite clearly wanted our table to leave after a point by the way they would very pointedly and repeatedly ask if there was anything else we needed or wanted. There were no parties waiting to be seated at the host station, there were no fewer than a half dozen available four tops in our section alone.
So yeah, I definitely won't be making any active steps to return to this White Spot location. I'll continue to go to the other locations, like the North Road location in Burnaby, where they actually value my patronage.
