A chill spot with attentive service, serving hearty meals and special attention to dietary needs, making it a must-visit for a satisfying time.

Nice enough place. The gluten-free bun on my berger was not the best. Thick cut fries were good as was the salad. And it was a little noisy, but I would go back
Downtown vibes blend upscale and chill, with amazing service, unique mocktails, and a lively atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back.

We had a great experience dining at Joey Rideau! Our food was delicious. Highly recommend the steak frites (this dish is also celiac safe, if you cannot have gluten). Our server Daphne was very kind and made sure that we enjoyed everything! We were celebrating our anniversary and it was lovely.
Enjoy a laid-back vibe with a beautiful patio and attentive service that makes every visit memorable and unique.

I recently hosted a surprise party for my mom at this restaurant, and I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was! The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. The canapés were perfectly timed, and the bottle of bubbly was ready as soon as my mom arrived.
A special shoutout to Maddie, our server, who went above and beyond. She spoke French fluently, which was a huge plus for our francophone guests. Maddie treated us like family, ensured that our gluten-intolerant guests had the right food, and even served my mom’s wine in a special glass she had for her 60th birthday. When my mom accidentally left the glass behind, Maddie kept it safe until she could come back for it.
Everything was just perfect. A big thank you to the team for making the event so memorable!

Went for brunch, with a friend. Was awesome. Portions were great, food fresh, service friendly. Good selection of gluten-free options, but that could actually improve. Space is a really fun design too.

This bakery has a generous amount of options to choose from, both in terms of savory and sweet foods. The selection starts with drier pastries like brioches, croissants, and cookies of different varieties to slices of cakes (cheesecakes, charlottes, an assortment of mille feuilles tiramisu to name a few) of all sorts. The thing the bakery is best known for is its artistic cookies, and I can confirm they had loads. If you crave something savory they offer mini pizzas, salads, soups, and pastas. The place is large so you will most likely find somewhere to sit without issues, and they have wifi. My only negative feedback would be regarding the lack of dietary options. If you have an allergy (gluten, dairy, peanut) or are vegan there are frankly very few alternatives.
Experience a delightful spot with top-notch coffee, a cozy vibe, and a clean restroom, perfect for a budget-friendly brunch that hits the spot every time!

Overall experience was nice for a night out with my girls! The service was great and the atmosphere was modern/chic and cozy.
Atlantic Salmon (4/5): the salmon was moist, there was plenty of sauce (I’m a sauce connoisseur) and the zucchini paired well. I would have appreciated something fresh to help cut the heaviness of the dish. However; it was still a light and tasty dish! I also ordered a piece of their focaccia on the side to get all the sauce
Pappardelle (4/5): Made with gluten free pasta for our gluten free friend! It was a good cream sauce dish, can’t go wrong here.
Beef Tenderloin (4/5): Other than the beef being a little overdone than requested, the dish was also very good!
Baked Rigatoni Alla Vodka (4/5): spicier than I am used to with vodka pastas but still good for those that have any spicy tolerance higher than mine (spice level: 3/5)
Oysters (4/5): Decently sized! I just wish the lemons were cut into wedges rather than slices.
Pumpkin Spice Flan (4/5): Creamy, smoothie and reminds me of fall
Fall ‘set’ Cheesecake (4/5): A deconstructed cheesecake with bourbon soaked cherries. The cheese part of the cake was almost a whipped texture and the crumble was good! I wish the cheese part would have been a bit more solid and I would have appreciated more of the cherry ‘sauce’ on the plate.
I would recommend this place to friends and would go again!
This new spot boasts creative dishes and top-notch service, making it a must-visit on Ottawa's dining scene.

Visiting from the states and stopped in for breakfast and the food was delicious. Definitely would recommend. Gluten free friendly. Mushroom omelette was delicious
Had breakfast, plates are very clean, portions are perfect. Prices are a bit expensive. 17$for granola. 22$ for eggs bennys. Aside from the prices, service was excellent. Also they have gluten free options.
We got take out. Everything is cardboard and you taste it in the food and in the coffee. My wife also got the gluten free crepe and it was completely inedible. The silver lining was their orange juice, very good. The man bringing my food in the beginning was nice and attentive.
Extremely rude staff. I asked about whether a pastry was gluten free. Her reply: “NO”. No explanation, just a subtext of eff off. I went back to the display case of different treats and saw it was written “blondies - GF”, so I go back to this cashier and order one. “We don’t have them.” Again, no explanation, extremely rude tone. I said “you don’t have them as in you don’t sell them or you don’t have them because you sold out?” So to that, she replies, with extreme annoyance: “we sold out. THATS why you don’t SEE THEM in the DISPLAY CASE.” I was in shock. I don’t know what I did to deserve this horrible treatment, but I will never go back to this coffee shop again. For the past fifteen years or so, this has been one of my favourite coffee shops. Today, that all changed. My mother and sister and her partner were there too and all felt the service was extremely negative and cold. My sister experienced a similar experience with a different cashier/barista working there today too, but I don’t want to write a review on her part. We are all just extremely disappointed with what’s happened to this place.
A spot where dietary needs are met with care, creating memorable meals that keep everyone coming back for more!

When you're gluten and lactose intolerant and low fodmap... and the server and chef take the time to accommodate; and then when the resulting meal is to die for, all you can say is thank you, but with your whole heart. Thank you for a wonderful meal. We will return!!
Perfect for a cozy family breakfast in Ottawa, the place impresses with attentive service and deliciously presented meals.

Had breakfast here with family, for the first time while visiting Ottawa.
The service was great, from the greeters to the servers. We were asked several times if we had everything we needed and topped up on orange juice also. I truly appreciate the care and attention received during our dining experience.
As for our meal, the presentation was there and the taste was even better. The menu has a variety of options, gluten free and vegetarian too.
I would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting, staying in Ottawa or even locals. It will hopefully not be my last time there. Thanks!
