Been here twice now because they do a gluten free breakfast. We were unsure at first about having to queue to get in but now I know why there is a queue in the first place! The food is absolutely delicious, made with good quality fresh ingredients. It's difficult to find a nice gluten free breakfast so I'm glad we gave Grand Central Kitchen a try. Walked in, a table for two, and despite their also being a booking for 49 people(!) we were made to feel comfortable and looked after. Fantastic gluten free options! Our server Amy was absolutely wonderful and was clearly working incredibly hard with so many customers, yet always took the time to treat everyone the same: with kindness and humour. I have celiac, and I cannot overstate how incredible the staff here was. I told them I have celiac, they have a gluten free menu and everything on it is celiac safe. They brought out my coke and my dad’s beer seperately to make sure there was no cross contamination, which was just incredibly kind. Honestly the best fast food service i have ever been to. The staff were very friendly and quick, there was a quiet, cosy and clean atmosphere and the food was 10/10. As someone who is gluten intolerant, it’s usually hard for me to have fast food and it be tasty and affordable but this place was spectacular. First time trying Tamatanga honestly it did not disappoint the Thali was amazing so delicious the food was hot and very good quality. It was a bit chaotic as it was a Saturday but the service and standard of food was top quality! Very good if you are vegan/ gluten free lots of selection. We looked for somewhere to have lunch today whilst in the jewellery quarter and the reviews were good. Service was excellent from everyone we encountered especially Kelly,our server. I was a little emotional when I arrived and she was a sweetheart going above and beyond one her approach to me.
Good menu and good gluten free choices. I had the pork belly (small plate) which was so delicious and no fat with fries and my husband had the Schnitzel Bagel with fries. Excellent quality, taste and service. We had a cranberry juice and a beer and the bill came to around £46.

Disclaimer I didn't eat here, I'm coeliac and the restaurant were completely transparent and said although items were marked GF they use the same utensils and wouldn't be suitable for those with coeliac. It's a shame as the food looked amazing. Just be sure to ask about cross contamination etc, if you're intolerant and not that sensitive or can have trace amounts of gluten it's prob fine though

Very expensive, over £100 for a meal for 4. And very poor service. Waitress was rude to on 3 occasions making members of our family feel very uncomfortable. Desserts were left to melt resulting in us having to send them back. Popped in on a Wednesday lunchtime, so it was moderately busy. We all had the carvery, although as my wife is coeliac she chose the option to have hers prepared separately.
Our lovely waitress let us know 3 minutes before my wife's meal was ready, so we could be served & eat at the same time.
