We ate at Bill's today, the menu caters for gluten free and vegetarian. The menu is extensive and there is something for everyone. We sat outside in the sun and the atmosphere was chilled. It was quite noisy inside I noticed, but that maybe just the volume of people in the place. Food was lovely and so was the drink (peach and mint iced tea). Staff were attentive and answered any questions we had. Paying is simple and you can split the bill by scanning the QR code which I thought was a great idea. Would definately return again 👍

Had such a good time!! Staff were lovely, really friendly and welcoming, food was delicious, wide selection and very inclusive with a vegan and gluten free menu. The cocktail menu had lots of options and the drinks were equally as delicious as the food.
It's a really nice size venue and the toilets are accessible and well maintained.
A spot with beautiful presentations and a diverse menu makes for a lovely treat, though some might find the flavors a bit on the mild side.

Visited Coffee Tales in the Jewellery Quarter yesterday while visiting Birmingham. We had the gluten free hazelnut cake and a jacket potato with cheese and beans. We have been in the UK for 3 weeks now and this was the best jacket potato I have had since visiting! SOO good! The gluten free hazelnut cake was amazing, I really liked the Nutella frosting! Plus the portions are huge, definitely good value for your money!

Great place and nice atmosphere. But not impressed with the service or the food it unfortunately for us average.
They were very accommodating and changed our seats.
The first waiter who took our order was good and the petite girl with the dark hair was lovely and they ended up picking up what the two guys who served (didn’t do) the one waiter just put our food on the table in one place without saying what it was or even placing in front of the person who ordered it, he didn’t even know what he was serving one dish was gluten free! He had no clue he didn’t even speak.
The pizza was not sliced well, we asked for a pizza cutter and a steak knife, to which the second waiter said the pizza is sliced and it was not sliced, we had to slice it again! He did not come back with a steak knife nor a pizza slicer. Again another waiter got the steak knife for us
We then asked for the bill and it never came so we had to shout out to him every-time he walked past again nothing. The young girl again came to us when she saw us trying to get his attention.
It’s not a bad place but the service was just not there, when it comes to the food it just depends on your palette.
A welcoming spot with a great vibe and attentive service, perfect for a laid-back hangout with friends.

The service industry is hard, I work in it in a different sector. What really makes the difference is not perfection but how minor issues are resolved.
We went to the Cosy Club Brindley Place yesterday for a treat, I have coeliac disease and the cosy club chain always feels safe which is huge for me.
There was a small mix up with the order which was noticed almost as soon as the first dish was laid down before we even had to ask and then fixed as fast as they could. We felt that the care Sophia took looking after us was absolutely brilliant. Having coeliac disease it's fairly common to feel like an imposition and we avoid eating out because of that. Yet Sophia couldn't do enough to help us feel comfortable and welcome.
Thanks Cosy club we will be back and thank you Sophia - if there were more of you in the world, life would be so much more sunny.

We love The Ivy! It's become a date night staple. We are a queer interracial BIPOC couple; I'm from The States and my partner is local. We always feel so welcome here and so well cared for. The drinks are always on point - beautiful and delicious. Ask the bartenders for recommendations! We are pescatarian, dairy -free and gluten-free. They work really hard to meet dietary needs with tasty substitutes. We have enjoyed the Afternoon Tea here a few times. Looking forward to sharing this place with out of town friends.

It was great to find a nice restaurant like this open before 5 because we had to travel and getting sat at 4pm was fantastic!
Convenient parking meant it was a 5 minutes walk from the carpark to the restaurant which was even better because we were starving. It was quite empty when we arrived and they sat us straight away.
The atmosphere was so nice, but I've dropped a star because there was a heavy smell in the air that was reminiscent of incense. It might have been the candles burning on every table, but with zero airflow it was massively overpowering.
BUT everywhere was so clean and tidy, the decor is wonderful, the toilets were clean and they had a disability toilet downstairs. The plates and chopsticks and little hand towels were so cute. I loved the effort they put into it all.
The servers were attentive and so polite. Really high level of hospitality and they checked in on us throughout. Some of the best service I've had in a restaurant before.
They cater to gluten free with their own gf menu, which was fantastic! There weren't a great deal to choose from but honestly I think the variety was still really good.
I chose the spring rolls which were crunchy and hot, and the special pho which looked amazing when it came out. Unfortunately it was jam packed with coriander which was very over powering, but that's more a personal preference and it was really fresh and crunchy. It was also quite under seasoned. I had to add some salt to the broth to bring out the flavours. There were also a lot of small chicken bones in it. Small enough to swallow but it was still a little off putting.
My partner had the slow cooked lemongrass beef that was slathered in ginger. Hes Filipino and even he said it blew his head off. But it was super tender and came with fresh and crunchy salad, so it wasn't a heavy dish.
For the price I'd have expected it to be a little better in flavour and a greater portion size. Especially with the starter as 3 tiny spring rolls shouldn't cost £7.50
But it was still an exciting experience after a long and tiring day!

Super cute cafe we visited whilst on holiday and they have gf and vegan options. As coeliac it was lovely to have some options that were coeliac safe. The biggest thing that inclined me to to leave this review though is the amount of thought they put into cross contamination when preparing my drink. They cleaned the milk frother spout, the milk jug and prepared it before my friends order containing gluten. I even heard them say 'this is for the coeliac' when passing the drink to each other to give it to me. I really appreciated the amount of forethought they'd put into preparing my drink as that has never happened in my 6 years of being diagnosed coeliac so MASSIVE THANK YOU! It really meant a lot to me and made me feel safer to enjoy my order. Lovely setup and decor inside the coffee shop, lovely looking cakes and just the vibe was chill. Highly recommend! P.S. the latte was perfect!

We went here as a family for a breakfast with Santa, we were the first there and the last out of 10 tables to be served food. We waited an hour and a half without any word from serving staff for our food. I am coeliac, we told them before hand of my allergy and again when we sat down, I was still served food with gluten in and was very ill after. The eggs in the breakfast were undercooked/over cooked with no consistency. They appeared to have over worked themselves and the service was poor, just a word to say food was delayed would have been nice. Overall, if you have any severe allergies such as coeliac I would not recommend eating here

Best Chinese food in Birmingham, amazing gluten free options and they take a lot of care with cross contamination. Everything is super fresh and I think fairly priced for what you get. They definitely take a lot of care with their food and it shows. The owners and staff are all extremely polite and the service is super fast, even when relatively busy I've had my meals arrive in 15-20 mins maximum, usually earlier! I've been here over 10 times and don't plan to stop.

Always tasty and fresh. However, staff should be better trained not to put gluten free products together with gluten baked goods. We ordered over the phone a slice of the matcha raspberry cake and was put together with two other gluten baked goods. Because of cross-contamination my friend couldn't eat it. Also, since I was not present when the slice of matcha cake was cut, we were given the dry edge of the cake which for £3.50 it is not worth it.

I don’t doubt this is a lovely, local, very popular cafe. I visited here for some cake to take away. I purchased 3 gluten free sponge cakes and was floored when the price came out at £12.40! If they had been really fancy, ingredient rich cakes I could have understood. I don’t usually leave reviews but this a rip off!

Little Italian restaurant with a great location next to St Paul Square at just a few mins away from the busy City Centre.
As an Italian I can say the food tastes authentic, furthermore the portions are good sizes and well presented.

Ordered the southern fried chicken club gluten free with no guacamole…. Really wished I hadn’t it tasted like there was no chicken in the batter. it was just the weirdest tasting chicken I’ve ever had plus they’d put the guacamole on. Unfortunately although the menu states that there are gluten free items on the menu, the owner let me know they can’t guarantee any of the food is coeliac friendly. (Double unfortunate as I had eaten there before not knowing this) I would advise removing the gf signifiers from the menu. Serving staff are wonderfully friendly though and nice choice of drinks!
Been going here since it opened and the staff are always welcoming, friendly and attentive. They always cater for my wife who is coeliac (gluten free) and are happy to adapt anything they can. Food is always cooked well. Can't wait to go back!

The service was fast due to it being quiet that day. For my main I ordered the AUBERGINE TAGINE, it is a gluten free and vegan dish, which I found to be very mild and bland. One of the waiters could see that I was not enjoying to food so he came over and asked if everything was ok, and gave me a side of pepper sauce so I could add to the curry. It was nice that the staff were very attentive. For my drink I had a Minta Frozen Vodka, it was very watery, bland and didn’t taste like it had any alcohol in it.
A positive note from this review the decoration, aesthetic and Vibe was nice, the staff were very catering and it was fast service.
Negative was the bathroom was very dirty. The floor was wet and there was tissue all over the floor.
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with delicious options and attentive service, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal any day.

Popped in on a Wednesday lunchtime, so it was moderately busy. We all had the carvery, although as my wife is coeliac she chose the option to have hers prepared separately.
Our lovely waitress let us know 3 minutes before my wife's meal was ready, so we could be served & eat at the same time.
Food was hot, & very tasty, service was good & cost was very reasonable.
All in all a very enjoyable afternoon.

Excellent little café! Located towards the end of the high street in Harborne, it is well worth seeking out. With relatively humble decor, it's the food and the people that make this place. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and very supportive as I hobbled around with my walking aid. Service was pretty quick, especially considering it was Saturday lunchtime and there was no shortage of customers. The compact menu shows how much they care about their food, choosing to do fewer things really well, using very local ingredients and suppliers, with options for gluten-free, veggies and vegans. Prices are on the higher end of reasonable, but the portions are generous and everything tasted great. I didn't have enough room left for any cake, so I will definitely try those next time. Loved it and can't wait to return!
Fantastic cafe visit now! Lovely friendly service very clean. Great range of breakfast options. Gluten free. Vegetarian and vegan. Great pot of tea. Delicious avocado smash.
