Really enjoyed our meal here. Staff are brilliant, and their gluten-free options are delicious. I had the sea bass, which was great. Cocktails are a little sweet for my liking.
I removed a star as the ladies' toilets were out of service, but otherwise, it was faultless.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with great decor and attentive service, making it a go-to spot for a memorable dining experience.

I chanced upon this gem while strolling by, and I'm so glad I did! The food was top-notch, with the vegan, gluten-free pizza, dairy and vegan vanilla ice cream and crème brûlée being standouts, perfectly presented and delicious. The service was equally impressive; the team was friendly and attentive, making sure we enjoyed every moment. The atmosphere was lovely, and everything was spotlessly clean. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to visit another of their restaurants!
With a charming vibe, this spacious café offers a delightful doggy menu, a lovely courtyard, and a tempting selection of cakes that everyone's raving about.

This was amazing to visit for ceoliac disease, they were very knowledgeable and even have a dedicated gf frier for their chips :)

Had afternoon tea, two versions one for me and a gluten free version for my other half, the food was very good apart from the gluten free scone, but they replaced it with an alternative option

We came here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first visit and it was amazing! The food was so yummy, lovely presentation and definitely worth the money. The best dauphinoise potatoes we have ever had!
I’m gluten free, and they were so accommodating and helpful! And I felt safe to eat which is always nice :)
Great value spot with excellent service where your only challenge will be choosing from their varied menu!

Service was quick and polite but they advertise as caters for gluten free but what this really meant was a menu the same as the normal one but with almost everything crossed of as not gluten free, leaving a couple of cakes and a fruit salad.
A charming spot in York with a cozy vibe, perfect for festive gatherings and a delightful selection of unique options.

An overall disappointing afternoon tea experience for a gluten-free person.
-Supermarket bought cakes (clearly from Sainsbury's) on gluten free afternoon tea plate.
- 'cheese parcel alternative' for me was just a piece of white toast and cheese, not an equal alternative.
-£5 extra for the pleasure of a GF option which as noted, felt like poor effort and poor quality
Unfortunately Plush under delivered and over charged for what I got here.
Positives: Coffee and scone were good and clearly homemade
Summary: please make better gluten free options and don't buy supermarket cakes or biscuits for the afternoon tea, it is unfair to charge extra for this lack of service.
Suited all our party, nut allergies, gluten intolerances, meat eaters and veggie preference. Sweets looked nice too but I didn't have room - too stuffed
A charming cafe with a standout menu that makes it a must-visit spot, perfect for grabbing a bite anytime.

Great food & always cater to gluten free needs. The bits and bobs board was insane also the pork belly sandwich with gluten free bread. Been coming for over 10 years.
Cozy with a rustic vibe, this spot offers a delightful atmosphere and is well worth the wait for a flavorful meal.

Very good gluten free options on all menus. We were staying at the hotel so had a breakfast as well as dinner. The food was excellent and they were able to cater very well to my gluten free diet.
Incredible vegan options showcase the chef's creativity, making this spot a must-try for unique dining experiences in York.

We both had a lovely meal to celebrate our anniversary. A "proper restaurant" that strikes exactly the right balance of doing excellent food, without feeling too formal.
They also have vegetarian and gluten-free options which is good on a small menu.
Excellent wine, starters, mains and desserts.
We had a picnic for six (including one gluten free) for a boat trip. The food was amazing and beautifully packed up with everything we needed. The gluten free member of our party has never been so well catered for. I cannot fault the food or the service and communications were excellent. I will be back to explore the Delicatessen when I’m next in York.

Lovely food and staff members. the portion is quite big. Gluten free options are available for some of the menu. Located in the antique house, the environment is quiet and special. Highly recommended!

The cafe is AMAZING. I am gluten-free and my friend is vegetarian and we were spoilt for choice. The chai and matcha were both so good, and the hot honey halloumi hash brown stack was possibly the best brunch I've ever had. The cafe is aesthetically lovely and the dog picture walls are so adorable. The staff are lovely too, so friendly and approachable - this place is a solid 10/10.
