Food is amazing! Servers are friendly and truly want you to have the best time. The most funny part is the menu having The Local and The Tourist - it’s the same meal but the tourist is $2 more :). Alcoholic drinks available. Gluten free pancakes! Pregnant me was in heaven.
Oh also the waiter takes the check… I was not observant and took it to the front which was super embarrassing.
Our waiter Tony was amazing!
Unique offerings and a cozy vibe make this spot a favorite for casual dining, complete with a lovely view and a play area for kids.

Gluten free options. I was told to come here but to be honest, it isn’t anything special. Definitely over priced for what we got. The poor server was the only one and she seemed to have the whole restaurant. She was very kind. food was meh. not memorable.
Renowned for its top-notch sandwich selection, this spot is a must-visit in Vail, perfect for fueling up before hitting the slopes.

I went here 2 mornings before skiing and had a great experience. The gluten free breakfast sandwich was perfect before skiing, they had a great tea selection, and even had gluten free coffee cake that I took up the mountain for a ski snack later in the day!
Chill vibe with great coffee, stunning views, and plenty of options for everyone, plus outdoor seating and cool merch to snag!

Best coffee, and they even had gluten dairy soy free baked goods the best I've ever purchased and didn't get sick from, and I'm super sensitive to cross contamination. Thank you so much!

This place is spectacular, the atmosphere is as if you were in the 90s (in a good way) the breakfasts are well served and they have bread options (even gluten free) I am attaching some images of the breakfasts that my wife and I ordered. Only one day when we went, my wife's omelet was overcooked but they removed it from the bill without any problem. They have very good service.
My husband and I were vacationing in Red Cliff, but stopped in Vail to shop and grab a bite. I saw Crespelle had gluten free crepes, so we stopped in. My husband had a very tasty beer, and we each ordered a crepe. They were delicious!!! The bartender was very nice and attentive, and we loved the environment so much, we went back two more times!
Definitely hit this up when you’re in Vail!
A snazzy spot for enthralling mountain views and high-quality service, plus a few surprises from the gifted executive chef.

My server assured me that most of the menu was GF so I went with the blue tamale and Brussels sprouts. The food was good, very rich. I think that having a note about how much of the menu is or can be made GF would go along way or even GF labels for those of us with medical allergies (I am a Celiac). The server said there was no need to note for the kitchen my gluten allergy to avoid cross-contamination since it was already GF. Therefore I am taking away two stars for this since I don’t think the restaurant truly understands the reality of having a food-related medical situation many have. It’s very stressful going out to eat and knowing that the kitchen understand in prep by noting an allergy helps one’s stress level and being able to be present and enjoy oneself.
A charming spot with a cozy vibe, offering delicious dishes and stunning outdoor views that make for a memorable dining experience.

We loved our time at Alpenrose! The food was delicious, and everyone was super friendly. And the service was incredibly fast! I have a gluten allergy, and they were wonderful with accommodating it. The atmosphere was also amazing, and we loved sitting outside enjoying the views while we ate. I highly recommend sitting in their patio if you can!
Enjoy a beautiful outdoor vibe with a nice view, plenty of vegetarian options, and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a casual outing.

The hours were wrong when we went. They stayed open a lot longer than what was posted online. The staff was friendly. We ate outside, which was nice. The indoor dining was not available, which was fine. The view is nice, the staff is nice. My son was not a fan of the burger. The grilled cheese was good. The Cobb salad was fine. Would not recommend the nachos.
They do have a few gluten-free options, although a Cobb Salad was the best dinner choice for that. I noticed a lot of vegetarian options. They have a nice drink list, but none of us drank anything that night. They did refill water quickly, which was nice. Great staff.
A solid spot for coffee in a snobby town, great for grabbing a quick caffeine fix, though pastries might not be worth the splurge.

I don’t envy any business owner trying to operate a “snob magnet” business like a coffee shop in snob capital of the world.
For us normal folks, we found the coffee to be really solid all around. Yes it’s expensive, but I can’t imagine what the rent and hourly wages are in a location like this, so I blame Vail more broadly for that than anything.
Also, wherever they source their gluten free pastries from…. The GF coffee cakes were unreal. Can’t really recommend the other pastry options because the freshness just isn’t there for a single donut that costs $5.
Ultimately, this serves the exact purpose it should serve - a highly convenient, walkable coffee option
