I've been meaning to try this place for well over a year and a half and was concerned when it temporarily closed down earlier in 2024. Finding out the owners had staffing issues and, since then, having corrected them, Toast, Four Corners was everything i had hoped for.
It is relatively close to the city where i live with an enjoyable ride heading towards the Uconn campus and countryish atmosphere.
There is plenty of free parking to this cozy, cute breakfast and lunch nook. Which doesn't seem very large until you go in and see it is much bigger, yet comfortable inside. Sunday after 11 am is prime breakfast hours, but we I didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes for a table. Service was very courteous and prompt, not rushing to take an order while deciding. Options from regular breakfast to omelets, sandwiches, waffles ( with chicken), pancakes, gluten free, and the like to their own creation of " the pile" ( caserole style dish).
Comfortable, bright, open place with good food and service that will make you want to try it for lunch. Definitely will be on my rotation as one of my local breakfast stops.
Experience a chill vibe with live jazz, great drinks, and quality flavors at this local spot that everyone loves to frequent.

Great local restaurant with gluten-free options. Good beer, selection and nice chili. Had some live jazz music on Saturday night as we came through as well. Not college cheap, but the food was good quality. Definitely put on your list to check out.
Known for its delicious burgers and clear menu markings, this spot offers a reassuring experience with attentive service and a cozy vibe.

I've eaten here at least a dozen times - it's one of the 'safest' options I've found for eating out as I have a severe gluten allergy. Wait staff is accommodating and for the most part knowledgeable about how things are prepped in the back (shared fryers, what specials are gluten free etc, and also very willing to check in the back if there are any other questions.) However - I ordered the Moroccan Chicken Dish - a dish specifically marked on the menu as gluten free and found not one, but two separate types of glutinous noodles mixed into my meal. My allergy is severe enough that I got sick from this. I reached out to their manager for clarification about how this happened and they assured me they don't prep the rice in the pasta water or use shared utensils, but they weren't sure how it happened. For what it's worth another reviewer on Find Me Gluten Free has noted that they had the exact same issue with the exact same dish. Lastly, despite this incident, I have not had any other issues eating here and recommend this restaurant to anyone - especially in the summer - it's wonderful to sit out on their patio.
Experience a clean vibe with an impressive menu full of healthy dishes that taste amazing, all from passionate owners who truly care!

IN LOVE! I ordered the Sunrise Bowl, I've never had anything so healthy that tasted so good! The atmosphere is very clean. The owner's are the sweetest people ever and genuinely care about their product! This restaurant is a MUST TRY! Especially if you are gluten-free & dairy free!
Hash brown tasted like an over cooked brick. Super dry. Yogurt parfait was terribly tart. Tasted like sour cream with fruit. Wrap was decent. Staff were polite but had a hard time keeping up with who ordered what.
Best part was the gluten free baked goods. Having the baker from Nature's Health Store has made a huge improvement in the quality of the baked goods. They are delicious as always and you can tell she made them. Just wish they would put her in charge of the rest of the menu. It needs revamping.
Also a place to eat with Celiac disease, you can eat the burgers with out the bread and now the fryers are gluten free friendly. As before they were not.
