Absolutely fell in love with this place!! We were traveling and looking for a safe place to eat with celiac/severe gluten allergy as well as dairy free. The fact that Portia’s entire menu is gluten free and vegan was AMAZING so everything was completely safe!! We drank the mushroom lattes and split the breakfast burrito bowl and a waffle - the food was out of this world. Everyone on staff was so kind and in a great mood, and the space is cozy and colorful. Will definitely back if we find ourselves in Columbus again!
A must-visit for an amazing variety of options, including unique meats and tasty sides, all in a welcoming environment.

I can't have gluten or dairy anymore and it was a big change, haven't eaten much because I'm picky and have lost so much weight. I decided to try this place and it was phenomenal! I didn't even know this kind of food could taste this good!! I was actually able to feel satisfied after eating which doesn't happen anymore. I cried, I literally cried in the middle of eating! Thanks for the delicious food and for caring about people who have to deal with this!!
A vibrant spot with amazing atmosphere, unique flavors, and delicious drinks that locals rave about—definitely a must-visit in town!

I was in Columbus for a MTG tournament, and was unfamiliar with the area. I searched for gluten free food, not expecting to find much, but I found Forno.
Not only was Molly the waitress absolutely phenomenal. (And she definitely deserves a raise) My experience there was beyond amazing.
I've never had a pizza so delicious, I've never had FOOD so delicious. Let alone, a GLUTEN FREE pizza!
I liked Forno so much that during my weekend in Columbus I HAD to go there a second time because I wanted to experience it again before I left.
10/10 would go there again, I'd drive from Detroit to Columbus just to experience Forno again.
Featuring a vibrant atmosphere with a stunning wood decor, this spot offers a fantastic menu catering to various dietary needs, perfect for a lively outing.

My partner and I travel a lot for work. We always seek out the best vegan spots to eat. This one really blew me away. I was extremely satisfied with the customer service, the atmosphere, and the food. Wyatt took our order. He had an excellent attitude despite the line (probably because the place is delicious) and he was very helpful in helping us select a dish. I had the Frisco melt and the red velvet cake. I ate every bite! They do not skip on flavor and quality ingredients. My partner had sausage egg and cheese with gluten free bread the pumpkin loaf and Caesar salad. Usually gluten free options are scarce and hit or miss on flavor. All of these dishes were delicious. And there were plenty of gluten free options as well. Thank you for providing excellent service and food for us vegan travelers! We Highly recommend this place!
Experience a vibrant atmosphere with a rewarding selection of dishes that impress first-timers and keep them coming back for more.

Had adequate parking. The dining area is large and can accommodate large parties. The manager was helpful and explained where everything was. There is a salad bar with a variety of healthy items.
You will pay between $10-$15 for a sandwich. All foods served are free from dyes, artificial trans fats and flavours, processed MSG's, and high fructose corn syrup, according to the menu. I had the Ruben, and it was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. I also had a salad, which was great. I highly recommend Jason's Deli if you're in the area. They do have gluten sensitive and vegetarian options.
Jason's Deli is a chain resteraunt, which we didn't know until we did some research, with restaurants in 28 states. This is a family owned chain and is in the top 500 for resteraunt chains.
Enjoy a unique spot featuring amazing stuffed crust pizzas and a tempting selection of baked goods that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Wow, I can't believe I haven't eaten here until now. My wife and I came here for lunch and loved it so much that we stopped by again on the same day to grab dinner. Can't wait to bring my veg and gluten-free friends!
Expect a bustling atmosphere where small servings leave you satisfied, though it might be a bit loud for those sensitive to noise.

The food and service were amazing, with many gluten-free and vegetarian options for those with dietary needs. The serving sizes are on the smaller side, which we preferred because we were able to finish our meals without being too full. The many of the vegetables that come with the main courses are shredded, which disappointed my mom. My mom slso ordered one of the house wines, which she said was not the best. Our server was very attentive without being overbearing and managers take the time to make sure everyone is enjoying the food, but we did wait around 40 minutes for our food.
The atmosphere is VERY noisy and can quickly overstimulate people with sensory sensitivity, like myself. My parents typically do not get overstimulated and they even said it was too noisy.
It was super easy to make reservations using Open Table!
Overall, the food was good, but the atmosphere was way too noisy and we had to wait a while for our food.
Expect an incredible array of customizable, delicious hot donuts that will leave you craving more with each bite!

I eat gluten free cuz it causes bad headaches and my body hurts like I have the flu & it causes belly issues for my daughter. I was in Columbus to meet a friend and googled gluten free bakery and this placed popped up. The staff member was very nice and helpful, explaining what was gluten free and preparation. I ordered 1/2 dozen donuts with various toppings. I got to my daughter's to share and on 1st bite our eyes grew wide and we both said "they aren't dense! They are light & airy!" They were sooo delicious!!! They are pricey (but what gluten free items isn't??!!!) but worth it to be eating a gf donut that tastes like a regular one. I highly recommend. I would not recommend for celiac because they do make "regular" flour donuts. We will be back!!!

Good place! I'm not super adventurous so my meal wasn't anything great (my fault 100%). But the menus list what's Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, and what has dairy, which was great because we had three people who fell into one of those categories.

I've been to Columbus three times and each time I make a point to come to Bonifacio. The food and cocktails are incredible and reasonably-priced. Most of the food is naturally gluten-free and I've never had a reaction due to cross contamination.

My son has celiac disease and we ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with gluten free bun and told them it was an allergy order. The man taking our ordered repeated that it was Gluten free allergy and when we went to the window to pick up our food, the person at the window said... "Thank you for waiting while our staff changes their gloves for your allergy order!" I can't explain to you how good and safe I felt to let him eat. It is scary how sick he can get just from cross contamination. SO THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! Our food was wrapped separately and he didn't get sick!!!

Ive had their burgers before, which are very yummy. But a friend said “lets do breakfast here”. I was like “they have breakfast?!” They sure do!! I had the mushroom frittata, which was exquisite! And the fresh squeezed OJ was the perfect touch. My friend had the breakfast hash, as shes gluten free and dairy free. And she loved every bite. The outside patio was perfect in the morning. Highly recommend.

We had a birthday celebration with 22 of my female relatives at Mozarts yesterday and it was above and beyond our expectations. I asked to reserve a few tables and they put us in a private room, no charge! Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Their food selection pleased everyone - even the gluten free and vegans! I enjoyed the veggie quiche. I highly recommend this café for a quick bite, special treat (I got a strawberry marzipan), bridal shower, wedding, or any other special event.

Solid beverages (their pistachio latte was really tasty) and high quality baked goods🥐 They have various dairy and gluten free options which I appreciated. My girlfriend and I got the quiche which was great but overpriced🥮 I thought it was weird that they didn't have any indoor seating for when it rains or it's overly humid outside.
With a cozy vibe and a diverse menu, this spot promises a memorable experience that keeps guests returning for more.

Wonderful High Tea experience. Gluten free options appreciated, staff friendly and food was really good. Too loud to hear each other, but otherwise a good experience.

(EDIT: Literally this was the only place I went to that day besides my family's house, none of whom have this virus. Again, I RARELY write a bad review, but I'm currently immune compromised and just had the worst week with my family battling this illness because we went to a restaurant with expensive food that was nothing to rave about. And believe me, I'm mad at my family for picking the place too. I've worked in restaurants and I know how important good reviews are, but this was my honest experience and I have never been so regretful about going somewhere. I'd still put one star for the food and cramped atmosphere alone, but I am furious at their response.)
I rarely write a bad review, but I had to make an exception for this because I am that angry. My family went here to meet up with family because one person is gluten-free and insisted on it. Never again. We paid $11 for a kids grilled cheese and I got chips & salsa for $9. I thought the chips would be homemade, but no, they came in a bag. If I'm going to pay that much for it, the chips better be homemade.
To top off the experience, I now have norovirus and I am fairly certain I got it from here. My family nearly stayed home and I wish we had. I am praying none of my other family members get it.
Please make sure to wash your hands thoroughly and often, and don't rely on hand sanitizer, which doesn't do anything to prevent you from getting norovirus. I am pretty good about washing my hands for 20 seconds & I still got it. I've never regretted going somewhere more than this place.

Dough Mama never disappoints. Neighborhood staple and great breakfast/lunch/brunch spot.
I have dreams about the GF Lemon Poppy Seed Muffin… it’s THAT good and gluten free. Come early… they usually run out the most popular baked goods depending on how busy the morning is but there is something yummy for everyone.
Seating includes outdoor Parisian café style on N High Street (can be a bit loud due to traffic but it’s fun watching frequent + diverse passerby’s in this central heart of the southern Clintonville neighborhood.
They also have a small indoor dining room and a larger outdoor patio out back surrounded by plants. That is the more intimate dining option and where I usually take friends from out-of-town for brunch.

Tons of gluten free options here. This place was hopping - looks to be a pretty popular place for the locals. We visited from out of town and drove 20 minutes out of the way but totally worth it.

Excellent coffee! We stopped here because our go-to coffee shop uses Crimson Cup coffee. This location was crazy busy. We had a difficult time finding a place to park and a table. The queue to pick up your coffee once you ordered was a little tricky to figure out; they simply announced what the drink is, and the noise level makes it difficult to hear if you are not nearby. The gluten-free donuts were yummy. They did have several flavors of their coffee beans for sale; and we chose a couple that we haven't tried yet. Not sure if we will stop again, but it was worth experiencing once.
Expect unique coffee creations that elevate your beverage game, plus a cool vibe that’s just a bit noisy but totally worth it!

I absolutely love coming here to work. The employees are kind and charismatic, the facilities are clean, the music and the vibes are great.
One MAJOR issue…
If you have a gluten sensitivity (namely celiac disease) I’d consider skipping this place if you plan to order actual food! While they do offer gluten free options for pastries that they source from reliable, local GF bakeries, The Roosevelt themselves raise no caution when these pastries reach their care when it comes to cross contamination. As a celiac myself, it is just so disappointing to see.
Their prepackaged pastries from Cherbourg are fine, but if you are interested in their new GF/vegan donut options, just forget it. They are almost always cross contaminated. They sit on the same plate as other vegan (but VERY GLUTEN) pastries. If they just moved them to a separate plate, or dedicated the top shelf to their GF options, everything would be fine. I really didn’t want to leave a negative review on this place, but I’ve raised this issue to several employees on separate occasions and no action is ever taken, so this is sort of a last ditch effort. It’s just horribly disappointing. I love this place, I just wish they took this specific issue more seriously. If I’m going to pay a fortune for a GF pastry, I want to eat it with the peace of mind that its safe for my consumption. Coffee & justice for all…but not for celiacs :(

I really like this place. The staff are super kind, and the ambiance is really nice and calming. They have a wide variety of baked goods (sweets and bagels), including vegan AND vegan + gluten free options. There are also non-vegan and non-gluten free options, too. Florin also has refrigerated beverages for sale, as well as a self-serve pitcher of water for visitors.
There is free street parking right in the front. People seem to enjoy going there to chat or work independently on personal projects. I usually never consider buying the merch restaurants and cafes make, but Florin's pins, mugs, and shirts are so cute that almost cave every time I'm in. They aren't too expensive, either.
The coffee is so strong that I have to sip it slowly or I'll get the jitters, but that just makes me feel like I'm getting my money's worth, lol! Recommend this place to anyone who likes local coffee shops with a soothing, artsy vibe.
