Every time I come here the vibes are immaculate, the people are so kind, and the food is amazing. I’ve never been disappointed here! Is it a little pricey? Yes. But to me, the experience is well worth the money. Plus it is really hard to find safe gluten free places in the area and this one is very accommodating. Highly recommend !!!!
A lively spot with a big beer and burger selection, plus a fun Astros-themed option and a pet-friendly patio for a chill hangout.

Are waitress was prompt and knowledgeable My wife has a gluten intolerance and she navigated the menu with the assistance of the waitress and did not have a food allergy incident. Well trained staff. They were busy but we were able to get in order eat and get out with a reasonable amount of time to get to a concert half an hour away. Thank you

This is a place for only gluten free, plant based protein, so although your partner might like it, you have no choice but to eat it. The food that was served was not that great and most was left behind on the plates. Service was professional, but not worth it for us.
Quaint and cozy, this spot boasts a chill vibe, unique drinks, and thoughtful menu options, making it a must-visit during your getaway.

Loved this place! Good service, great atmosphere, and I really appreciated the number of gluten-free options on the menu.
I got a strawberry oat milk latte and a gf sausage egg and cheese bagel. Delicious!
Cozy vibes and a cute gift shop make this the perfect chill spot to unwind near the New River Gorge.

I asked plainly “is the tofu scramble gluten free?” and the person taking my order slammed her hand on the table rolled her eyes and said “but it doesn’t even have gluten in it!!” And i said how am i supposed to know gluten could be in anything like a sauce or a seasoning and she was extremely rude. She was young and had mid length straight brown hair. I then received my tofu scramble and it was not tofu scramble but plain cubed tofu with an unknown sauce on it that looked like soy sauce (which unless made gluten free has wheat in it) and it was bad. This is not tofu scramble. Google what tofu scramble is and not a single picture will look like that. Its mashed tofu with turmeric and other seasonings. Thats the definition of tofu scramble, meant to look and taste like scrambled eggs. I paid 14 dollars for poorly seasoned cubed tofu. One of the worst food experiences i ever had. And i walked out of there with a stomachache so no i don’t think they know what gluten is or good service.

Great service by the friendly clerk. Loved that they had protein balls. The cinnamon rolls are huge although I did not get one. Gluten free options of items available.
Let me start by saying this is my third time in a row that they have totally messed up my order! I am Celiac and the first time I ordered a wrap that was supposed to be gluten free but wasn’t! I had a horrible few weeks afterward with a rash that was absolutely miserable and took forever to go away. The second time. My daughter and I ordered a gf buffalo wrap with mild sauce and got HOT which neither of us could eat. Their response was “sorry” but didn’t take it off our check. . The third time (tonight) I switched it up and ordered a gf pizza without onions. Our table of 6 received their meals and after everyone else was finished, the server brought my pizza. I took one bite and it was full of onions! She took the pizza back and although she offered to order another pizza for me, I said no. I wouldn’t expect everyone to sit there watching me eat. The owner’s son came over and asked if everything was alright and I told him ALL of it and his response was, “we took the pizza off of your bill and I will talk to “them”. “Someone concerned about local customers would have comped our whole check. I asked to talk to his dad Mike, but his son said he’d just left. Needless to say, I probably will not be back. I am not a person who EVER complains or writes bad reviews but tonight was my straw.
Unique homemade dishes shine here with an extensive menu packed with options, making it a must-visit for a cozy meal experience.

Had a wonderful lunch with family! Between the four of us, we ordered a salad medley with roasted chicken, walnuts and fresh fruit, a meatloaf dish with sides and a roll, a steak sandwich, and quesadillas. Everything was excellent! We even bought some food to take home, such as gluten-free cookies, freshly prepared applesauce, focaccia bread, and crab chowder. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Neat little place. Crazy yummy food and drinks. You can definitely tell local owner as staff go out of their way to take care of customers and special needs/requests. Gluten free...yep, they can do that!!, etc. Fresh made food is a quickly fading art. Keep up the great work and customer service and it will always be awesome!!!!

Food is okay for breakfast. They have a decent selection of gluten free options for a small town. Bakery looks nice but is usually dry. Service is slow and at times they mess up orders. Sometimes they have technical difficulties. Most recently there Apple Pay. Atmosphere is good for kids. Not great outside at times due to bugs.

This is the CUTEST place in all of St. Albans! The likelihood that you will meet the owner is high. She provides the best service and the best food. She even has several gluten free items. I visited here with a friend who is local and I fell in love! I even purchased coffee to fly back home with to force my husband to try. He is the biggest coffee snob (think like pinky up type of snob) and he LOVED it! Wether you are passing through, visiting a friend, just moved to the area, or trying to support local, please stop in here and give them your business!

My son has Celiac Disease and they went above and beyond to make sure he was safe eating there. Thank you guys so much for offering delicious GF options!!!
They have gluten free selections! They also claim to have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, but I imagine that's on the honor of the workers. My sadness is that everything is cooked in peanut oil and I am peanut intolerant X-P Otherwise, I adore Chik-fil-a!

What a fantastic find. The food is so fresh and tasty. There entire menu can be made gluten free as well which is so hard to come by these days. We will be coming back!
Have they turned into idiots here? Told the girl I had a gluten allergy and she said alright and normally they flag it so i get a gluten free bun for my sandwich and i didn’t get it at all. The cheese on the sandwich was pepper jack and not colby jack, which is whatever but cmon. And then I saw some girl drive by in a silver suv and one of the managers came out and was like “omg thanks for the eggs”, they were in a crockpot btw. unsanitary if you ask me. Then another manager was literally sitting there rubbing her nose profusely and sticking receipts in bags. Just felt like a nasty visit.
We eat at Chick-fil-A for the gluten-free bun options because being celiac and having 2 daughters that have to eat gluten-free, it's really nice having that option. Ordered 3 sandwiches with gluten-free buns. I knew I should have checked my bag. Of course, get home, and there are zero buns. I called to speak with the manager, and he put me on hold to get a pen and never returns. We have been through both Chick-fil-A stores. The one on MacCorkle and 3 different times we have not received the gluten fee buns. It just gets frustrating because we actually look forward to having sandwiches with actual hamburger buns.
Asked for a gluten free chicken deluxe. She offered me a spicy one. I asked if it was gluten free as well. She said yes. It wasn’t. Got a fully breaded chicken sandwich I couldn’t eat because it’s BREADED. Wasted 20$.

Such an exquisite place to eat with family! Our server, Robbie, made our visit so special! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks cold and endless, and the attention paid to our party was just the perfect balance of making sure we had what we needed and giving us time to chat and share stories! The entire experience was like being cared for by a relative, and after a long drive or a busy day, when all you want in the world is something good to eat and a little time to talk with your loved ones, this is the place to go. People feel loved here. The food is so tasty, with something for everyone, from our nine-year-old to the dad who loves spicy things to an uncle who loves bacon and a mom who can have gluten but really shouldn't. The servers understand families here, and have the respect to ask whether a young lady of nine will require a lid, knowing some prefer it (ours likes it, as she hates to spill even a drop on the coloring page of the kids' menu, but her one aunt refused one as undignifed at that same age,) and don't bat an eye when kids ask for diet. (You wouldn't believe the odd looks some servers at other places give. Not here! Kids are respected here as part of the family!)
My partner and I used to eat here occasionally as broke students when our parents visited or for the most special of occasions, I ate at other Eat n' Parks as a child and these days we live too far away to take our little girl to the lovely old Eat n' Park. The Christmas commercial with the tree, the Smiley cookies, it's all part of my expat-Pittsburgher, WVU-grad heritage, and for weeks, our daughter has talked of taking her uncle there. She remembered Eat n' Park mainly from family stories and visits to Pittsburgh as a little thing, and she was so excited to visit one now that she is a great big girl of nine, planning a trip herself.
(It is entirely possible that she got...perhaps a little confused between our stories of Eat n' Park, 'Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies' and the scenes in 'Rent' at the Life Cafe after Maureen's show, this child's grandparents were WVU theater majors and she seemed a little puzzled at the lack of musical numbers, but the food was so very good and she was so absolutely enchanted by Smiley cookies, we persuaded her that those must happen when the theater majors eat there, i.e., after plays.)
Everything was so lovely, I was honestly surprised by the bill. In these times, I'm used to paying much, much more for such an experience. We will be back again soon!

This place is fantastic! The employees are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious! I ordered one of the gluten-free peanut butter cookies, and I honestly think it's the BEST peanut butter cookie I've ever tasted. If you're in Romney, you have to check this place out.

Cute, delicious, cheap, and friendly! Had great options for gluten free and dairy free dining. The house-made tortilla chips were amazing, the hot salsa had some nice kick, and the street tacos made for a great lunch. Thanks for a great pre - hike feast!
Not great, bad organization have gotten my order wrong 4 out of 5 times visited. Huge shame they offer no gluten free options for breakfast but also won't let you order a salad or have them without cheese. So screw parents with allergies when breakfast hits I guess. This is the whole franchise I guess but stores in the south are so happy and quick to help with it this one just said no off the bat

Driving through on our way back to Indiana and decided to get some descent coffee and baked goods. What can I say, the coffee was great, the berry cinnamon roll was fantastic. They had gluten free options for my daughter who is celiac!!
Filling out my time sheet, I set my hotspot in the window for better signal and LEFT IT! It was an hour down the road before I realized what I had done. The great folks at Grindstone were kind enough to locate said hotspot and ship it to me!
Can’t say enough great things about this place. Great service, great coffee and delicious food. GET YOURSELF THERE!!!! I will be back any time I’m in town!
I have a gluten intolerance and my waitress was very helpful. The cook also had one so she made my food separate which I appreciated so much. I had a wonderful experience!

Waffles were delicious!!!! They were short on toppings (snow had delayed deliveries, they said, but they were not busy and there were two employees there: grocery store run should’ve been done). My husband said the bathroom was not clean. I hope they address that!!!! And that they buy cushion covers for the dirty dining seats (or do seats without the cushions if they don’t want to clean/cover them). But, friendly service and perfect gluten-free waffles 🧇
