Power Banquet was great value, great food, great service. We ate at 4:45pm before a show. Gluten free options were given or gluten items put on the side. Red wine superb.

The coffee itself was really good, tried tigernut milk which was nice too. The fruit sourdough would have been delicious but unfortunately because it was a 4cm thick slab it was refrigerator cold in the middle, would have been perfect if it was just sliced in two for even toasting. Beautiful fruit inside though, the bread itself was good quality and I would have liked to buy a loaf to take home if they offered it. Did not like it being drizzled in honey so I think they should ask if people want that rather than just give it as standard. Being a completely gluten free store is wonderful, and my friends who don't need gluten free enjoyed their food too.

This spot is absolutely fabulous. Small cafe with good outdoor space. Everyone here seemed comfortable with the atmosphere (70’s music, relaxed vibe, thoughtful touches like the water and cups). Owner aware of gluten intolerant vs. celiac. Food is top notch. Best I’ve had in a long time. Fresh and everything made in shop. You can taste the good health in each bite. Incredibly balanced and well seasoned. Falafel, tahini, tabbouleh, hummus, pickled turnips were all incredible. Crisp vegetables. Gluten-free wrap was tasty and held up to the generous portion. Busy lunch time at the restaurant and the employees hustled to get the food out quickly. To the people who thought the staff was rude, I say, treat them with respect. The owner was a no-nonsense, genuine person. He was helpful and humorous with me. Savor the food and check your ego at the door.

Incredible service from a team who kept our table of 15 happy and well fed with everything running like clockwork.
🍳The food is outstanding - a brunch style fusion of Vietnamese and modern Australian. Very flavourful and perfectly prepared. Poached eggs are exactly as they should be and crispy fried chicken is crispy!
✨Vibe is a light and airy plant filled oasis. Options for dining are inside, on the deck, or out in the ample garden area.
🚗TBF its West End, so parking is always a challenge. But there is Ofc street parking and it’s worth the walk if a few blocks away is all you can find.
🥬 Vegetarian and gluten free options.
Fresh-made orders with a great vibe and a solid vegetarian selection make this spot worth the wait, though parking can be tricky.

Fantastic 😍
I was craving a gluten free dairy free toastie and found they had it on the menu! I appreciate that they can make fresh to order as many places aren't that flexible. Great vibe. Heads up, parking can be challenging in the area
Super cute cafe with really friendly and helpful staff, walking in we instantly were glad we picked this spot for brunch. I have some food allergies and discussed it with one of the staff who was amazingly helpful in helping me decide what to get. They have gluten free bread and the meal was presented beautifully. The staff even gave us a cute treat of sliced fruit with a bit of cream on the house and they remembered that I cannot have dairy when I had mentioned it earlier and gave me one without cream. Such a lovely place to eat, I can't wait to come back again :)
Charming vibe with outdoor seating and flavorful dishes, though pesky flies may bug you a bit; worth the visit for the ambiance!

Siam Samraran is a lovely restaurant in the Soda Factory, West End. The place has outdoor seating facing the car park. While the outdoor seating is nice, the flies are pesky. The food is really good and flavourful and the staff are wonderful, very polite and helpful. The hostess is very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. They have #Gluten Free main courses however the starters are limited to 2 unfortunately. The staff are aware of Gluten Free dishes and can help you choose.
The steamed Baramundi in Ginger was delicious and so was the Pad Thi. The Masamman curry was tasty but lacked the authentic taste. The # Gluten Free chicken satay and # GF Pork skewer were tasty but slightly over cooked and tough. The #GF Pad Thai was one of the better Pad Thais I've had very tasty but skimped on the prawns, there were only 4 big prawns. Probably better to go for chicken so it's evenly spread in the dish.
Overall a good meal. I've been twice and will go back again. Good food and ambience and great service!

Food was delicious, but I️’m gluten free and had a horrible reaction after leaving. I️ ordered the octopus & potato (marked on menu as GF) and the kasundi eggplant (paid extras for the GFO) and I️ walked out and instantly got sick. I️ double checked with the server when she brought the dishes and she said they were GF, but they must have made a mistake.
Staff was lovely and working very hard which was very appreciated, but wanted to give a fair warning to anyone attending that is also GF
A hidden gem with consistent quality, where a nostalgic atmosphere meets unbeatable breakfast options you'll love.

I used to work upstairs from this place and went there for lunch regularly for years. It had been about 3 years since I was last in West End when I went there this morning and it did not disappoint. The food here is honestly 10/10, and our breakfast today was everything I dreamed of and more. Staff are always super friendly and it was nice to see so many of the same faces still there! Very good options for vego + gluten free too.
A must-visit for tasty dishes with a unique flair, though service could step it up a notch for an even better experience.

Unfortunately the food was very overpriced and not pleasant. Nothing on the menu can be made gluten free (same fryer, same grill) yet the menu states gluten free options. As a previously coeliac friendly restaurant this is very misleading. The young lady who served me was very friendly.
Melt-in-your-mouth beef and standout coffee make this place a must-visit, plus the owner’s personal touch adds a memorable vibe!

We had the tender and flavourful beef with ghee rice. It was absolutely beautiful. Meat melts in your mouth. The owner gave us a little bowl of tzatziki to have with it which balanced the meal perfectly!
The banana bread was gluten free and was probably one of the best we’ve had!
Coffee was outstanding. So glad we decided to come here after reading great reviews. Thanks guys. Will spread the word around. The owners are so nice 👌🏻
We visited early on a Saturday morning. It was quiet when we arrived, but filled up as it got closer to 9am. The breakfast menu was varied and interesting, with genuine gluten free options. The coffee was good. The service was excellent. We needed a bit of extra space for a pram and the staff were happy to help. They were attentive throughout the meal, without being intrusive. Would definitely go again.
A go-to weekend spot for dog lovers, featuring great coffee and a vibrant atmosphere near the Saturday markets.

When I lived in West End I loved coming here with my dog on the weekends! Coffee is great and I loved the raisin toast and gluten free brownie! I’ll be back every now and again when I go to the Saturday markets
Didn't enjoy our visit unfortunately. This place used to have so many vegan/veg options.
I'm vegan and gluten free and checked the online menu for an option, only to arrive and it wasn't on the menu.
I had to alter one of the dishes they had (swap eggs for avocado on GF bread) and it seemed a confusing task.
My friend paid $17 for well dressed and presented eggs, toast, relish and potato hash, while I somehow paid $18 for a single piece of dry GF toast with a spoon of avocado mash on the side. With avocado being $7 to add, that means I paid $11 for a piece of dry toast...
Our meals were bought out without any cuttlery. My toast was then returned to the kitchen to be spruced up a bit, by the time I got it back my friend was half way through hers and the $11 toast was cold..
There seems to be an understaffing issue as I could see wait staff trying their best but just couldn't keep up.
Add the fact my regular coffee was over $7 and it just was a hugely overpriced poorly planned experience I can't see myself coming back.

Great place, great vibe. It's a perfect local community vibe. They do excellent brunches and fantastic sandwiches. Give it a shot, you will be surprised how good they can make a toasted sandwich. Gluten free options available, too.
