The initial welcome was friendly, but there was zero flexibility when it came to ordering. I asked for an Irish Breakfast with gluten-free bread and to substitute the two puddings (which I can’t eat), but was told I could only remove them — no substitutions allowed, and I would still have to pay for the full dish. When I asked why, the only explanation was “the chef doesn’t want to,” which felt more like a whim than a serious policy. I decided to leave, as I believe this kind of attitude is unfair — especially in a time when food allergies and intolerances should be taken seriously.

We went here recently while in Cork. First evening we had takeout fish and chips and it was divine. Delicious, crispy fish and best of all - gluten free!
The next day we went in I got the steak - unbelievable!!!!!
The service was brilliant too - very attentive but not ‘in your face’ either.
I’ve told everyone about this place and will for sure be back whenever we’re down south again.

The goat cheese salad (main) comes with 2 big goat cheese and lots of mixed leaves, carrots, pickled beetroot, nuts, etc. Staff is very friendly. My only suggestion to the place is to have a drinks menu, and change those sharp lights that shines straight to your face to soft ones. Other than that, great experience.

Ate here last night because I was excited to try gluten free fish and chips and oysters. Food took over an hour because the kitchen was backed up, so I truly believe they forgot to serve it to me gluten free. I have had GI distress, chills, nausea since. Was able to order Gluten free chips online and was delighted as there’s a lack of gluten free options in the area. However on arrival they informed me they didn’t have gluten free chips and offered me mash potatoes or a burger instead. I said I’d have a gluten free burger INSTEAD and proceeded to wait 15 minutes past my collection time for it only to be asked to pay an additional charge as “the burgers and chips are not the same price”. They said they tried to contact me prior to my arrival but I had not received a phone call and there was no calls in my missed calls. Really disappointing to be looking forward to a gluten free chippy only to be put on the spot and asked to chose alternatives and pay an additional cost for an issue that’s out of my control. Burger was nice though.
