My gluten-free mecca! Whenever I'm nearby, there's no way around the Backbrüder (bakery brothers). Great croissants, chocolate-flavored pastries, and heavenly cakes. My favorite: the raspberry-lemon cloud (see forum). Unfortunately, the café had to make way for a bakery for classes. A bit of a shame—hence only 3 stars for the ambiance.

Healthy fast food – and it really is! The gluten-free rice flour crepes are amazing: their own dough, their own sauces, everything thought through down to the last detail. None of the usual "healthy" talk, but a genuine taste experience with a concept. And the team? Super friendly and genuinely passionate about what they do. Highly recommended! P.S. Separate baking area for gluten-free stuff so that there’s no cross-contamination. EVERYTHING in the cake display was gluten-free and well labelled with allergens. Cake absolutely delicious and staff knowledgable about coeliac and about how strict you’ve got to be with cross-contamination. I almost burst into tears honestly: lovely lovely spacious place with a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Brownies, cheese cake, tiramisu, cupcakes, strawberry cream cake… I had lemon cake with chocolate biscuity base (DID I MENTION GLUTEN-FREE?!) and it was fabulous.

Stumbled upon this place while going for a walk. Very cozy and cute place. Lots of room outside to sit. We did not know it had gluten free options which was a bonus for my boyfriend who Is Celiac. Im not celiac but we both really enjoyed the galette which was like a crepe but made with buckwheat. Tasted fresh and clean. Coffee was creamy and also very enjoyable. Cash or paypal only.

Do I need to make many comments: - Service was extremely understaffed and overwhelmed: we sat down and couldn't order for 20 minutes. The waitress had told us we'd have to wait a bit, but I still thought 45 minutes was too long. I think they should hire more staff. - I thought the size of the drinks was quite small for the price. - They display cakes at the counter, but they're not "ready" to eat for an hour. I still didn't get it after an hour, but that was due to the service. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it unless you really have a lot of time...

My absolute favorite café in Bad Salzuflen, with a wonderful selection of delicious pastries, even those with lactose and gluten intolerance will find something to enjoy. The waffles are a dream.

Always happy. You can always find something at the buffet. You can tap fresh table water and there are fresh juices, lassi, but also beer and wine. The potato gratin is great and now they even serve fries on a regular basis. You can also eat gluten-free and vegan. The ingredients are always high quality. Cakes, rolls, coffee,... You can always find a reason to go. There are also delicious things to take home in deposit jars. Like soups, sauces,... or pastries to give away. Employees are always friendly. Be careful of the hot chocolate, it only looks small. :D

Super delicious food and very nice service! For starters we had tomato soup and bruschetta, both very tasty. For the main course there were 3 different pizzas, one vegetarian and another gluten-free. I would particularly like to emphasize the consistency and taste of the gluten-free dough. It was really, really good and tasted almost like a “normal” pizza. The service was great. I was informed straight away that the yogurt dressing was not gluten-free and was offered an alternative instead. When the chosen starter was no longer available, a suitable alternative was immediately found. The atmosphere with the table people who could change the colors was also very pleasant. We can definitely recommend it!

Great café for breakfast, lunch or even afternoon coffee. There is also a lavish vegan and vegetarian offering as well as gluten-free cakes. The service was quick and very friendly and the atmosphere also made you want to linger. We would definitely like to come back.

For us, Franz Ferdinand is the best place in Bochum for Austrian cuisine. The food is high-quality, delicious, and lovingly prepared. What's especially cool is that from the terrace, you can even see a few animals from the zoo behind it. You don't get that everywhere. And the place looks really impressive. The menu offers many classic dishes, but also modern interpretations. Especially good for people with food intolerances: There are many gluten-free options. The service is attentive, friendly, and fast. Even if the restaurant isn't one of the cheapest, the quality is definitely worth the money. Everything is clean, well organized, and run with passion. In conclusion: Stroll around the zoo beforehand—it's small but cute. Then head to Franz Ferdinand. This isn't a restaurant visit; it's an excursion with guaranteed enjoyment. Reserving a table is worthwhile; it's often busy. We'll definitely be back.

Gluten-free bread options to all egg dishes possible. I had a gluten-free almond cake that was ok, nothing really fancy, also the service is kind on one hand but also a bit cross-tracked on the other hand. I am really spoiled from the States when it comes to service statements. As celiac, I am grateful for the little things but I think this place could be even a 5star spot if it hits gluten-free options also for pancakes and oat bowls. Think of it!

The best vegan organic dishes, delicious organic lunches, and many cakes are gluten-free and sometimes sugar-free too! The only well-known café/restaurant in Dortmund that delivers on its promises. Always a good address if you are looking for delicious, vegan and, above all, varied food. After my last visit, I also consider it suitable for those with celiac disease, despite the buffet principle. The dishes are clearly marked as gluten-free. I don't know whether it was a happy coincidence or deliberate, I had the impression that the gluten-free dishes were in the "back row" or in a separate row. This reduces the risk of contamination enormously because no gluten-containing foods are loaded onto the gluten-free foods. Each container is also equipped with its own cutlery. The only downside is that there is currently no gluten-free cake option. If there were, it would have been 5 stars.

Cute little and somehow quaint cafe with super nice employees. We looked for a place for breakfast after a concert where I could get something vegan and gluten-free without any problems and the bowl and the piece of cake were very tasty. A truly highly recommended little café/restaurant with a very friendly pastry chef who makes everything herself and uses plenty of fresh ingredients. I'm thrilled with the extraordinarily delicious and tasty cakes. I'll try the pierogi next time. Also fantastic: many dishes are available in gluten-free versions, and even cakes are made to order.

We spontaneously went for a walk in Cafe Rhein. The prices are reasonable and the employees are very nice. It's a cozy café that isn't too big. But you are close to the Rhine in Mülheim. We had a savory crepe and cake. There are different cake variants that also say whether they are vegan/gluten-free.

Great vegan and even partially gluten-free cuisine, and a good, original selection of teas (e.g., thyme tea or orange-mint-ginger tea). The scrambled tofu is highly recommended! The pancakes are also great; you can really taste the bananas! The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy! The prices aren't excessive. Unfortunately, we were only in the area for a short visit, otherwise this could become a favorite café.
