Gluten-free bakery (safe for celiacs).
There are a lot of cookies and biscuits. But if you want savory baked goods or croissants, there is little choice, especially if you want it to be vegetarian or vegan (there is nothing there). I had a small pizza, but the base was soaked with liquid (mushy consistency). The pastry was filled with cream and there was way too much cream. The rolls were soft and didn't taste good. The staff is also not polite (makes you feel unwanted). I'll go to another gluten-free bakery next time.
A go-to spot for a vast and tasty selection of unique sandwiches, plus a chill vibe that keeps everyone coming back for more.

Yesterday I had lunch at this place with my celiac daughter. Excellent products and impeccable service. Very kind people and welcoming atmosphere. I recommend it especially for the variety of gluten-free options. The piadina was very good.
A cozy spot with a welcoming vibe and deliciously loaded pizzas, perfect for a casual night out with friends.

I'm sorry but we didn't like the pizza. We came for a person who is celiac, but basically, it seemed to us that all the pizzas were made for celiacs. The dough is biscuity. There are people who like pizza like that but we don't. The environment is small... normal prices.
Located conveniently with a great parking spot, this place offers a mouthwatering variety of delicious products at honest prices.

Everything is very good, from sweet to savory, a point of reference for gluten-free, with a single flaw, the prices, which in some cases are too salty (bread at €12 per kg)
A unique spot with a creative selection of delectable pastries and an impressive variety of gluten-free products, perfect for anyone avoiding gluten.

A beautiful reality for celiacs, absolutely worth trying; not to mention the services: super friendly staff, very clean toilets. There is also a wide choice of gluten free home products (flours, biscuits, pizza...). The key ring for the bathroom keys is absolutely curious 🤣.
Experience vibrant dining in a lush garden setting with huge portions and unique flavors, perfect for a relaxed family or date outing.

Very well-kept location, in an elegant and imaginative Aeolian style. Top notch service. Excellent for families and couples. A place that on paper offers the possibility of serving gluten-free seasoned bread and recommended by celiac forums...
The disappointment was that they didn't have any available because they already finished at 1pm...
Naturally we remedied this with a very respectable, rich and abundant salad...
In summary, for celiacs I recommend asking for confirmation of the availability of bread...
The Malvasia Spritz (in the photo) was super appreciated
In the town hall square of Favignana, a reference bar for breakfast, aperitif and snack. Here I was able to eat a perfect gluten free cannoli (I have never eaten such good ricotta) and I also really appreciated the aperitif with gluten free bruschetta with cherry tomatoes, oregano and various parts of the tuna (heart, mushy, pussy) also in the Tonnara version, with bottarga. Gluten-free Peroni beer. Prices a little high but generally in line with those of the island. Friendly and attentive service also explaining the possibility of contamination and indicating gluten-free items, such as the aperitif chips. Thank you very much because you made my stay in Favignana really tasty!
A must-visit for anyone seeking a unique selection of fresh, beautifully crafted gluten-free pastries and treats in a cozy setting.

The best gluten free panettone I've ever eaten, too bad it's far from Palermo, but we'll definitely find a way, it's really worth it.... Congratulations for the love you put into making people who have gluten problems happy. I've tried other pastry shops, but you are the best.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
A cozy brunch gem with charming vibes, fresh juices, and fantastic coffee that'll keep you coming back for more.

Very friendly service. There's oat milk and gluten-free toast and a gluten-free muffin. The lattemaciato with oat milk was very good. There is also brown sugar, which tastes delicious with the milk foam. I'd love to come back.

Very good food especially gluten free cannoli. As for the service it seemed we bothered the owner because we ordered a lot of stuff, other than that highly recommended

It's a plus that they have gluten-free options, but it's a pity that these are usually store-bought, hermetically packed products that are unwrapped a moment before and topped with cream. I understand that it has to be this way for safety reasons, but it can certainly be served in a better way than simply pouring a little sauce on it.

Great delicatessen and restaurant with house made bread (non house made gluten free bread available for sandwiches). The restaurant has a great variety of food options good for those that are gluten free or vegetarian. Kind staff and very reasonable prices and the food is filling and healthful. To try a variety, get the mixed plate option.

We stumbled upon this coffee shop during a walk. We were pleasantly surprised by Agira's offer of cassatelle also gluten-free. Variety of flavors and excellent quality. We tried a classic gluten free cassatella and a traditional one, both delicious. Kindness and helpfulness of the girl at the counter. Advised!

Both the regular and the gluten free arancini here were absolutely amazing and the staff were kind and accommodating. When I went in the evening they didn't have any gluten free left but they took my order and made them for me to pick up fresh the next morning - so worth calling ahead for GF if you can. They are cooked in a separate fryer and aware of cross contamination so great for coeliacs.

An excellent experience - the sardines were amazing. And the fact that they have gluten free and slow food it's unexpected. Don't hesitate to order Amara spritz. A very friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere! Palermo's gourmet adventures...

Very nice place, very close to Piazza del Duomo. We had an outdoor aperitif but the inside is even more beautiful. Gluten free food and beer options, which was much appreciated.
We tasted the nachos but in a not very successful version (with salad, cherry tomatoes and strips of pork) while the day before we had a gluten free sandwich with really good meatballs

Very nice environment in front of the Aster square in San Leone, very beautiful and modern.
Fast, kind, smiling and helpful staff.
I took a gluten-free brioche (the only gluten-free option) and added Nutella or hazelnut cream, and a lactose-free cappuccino, both very good, you can feel that they use quality ingredients.
Basically everything is ok and excellent 😊 I recommend it!

During my holiday in Palermo I had breakfast here several times because they have croissants for celiacs which are also good, not the usual massive unleavened products. They also have gluten-free cannoli which are good and look like the normal ones. Seriously, I recommend you stop by here if you need gluten free.

I'll start by saying that it's not the first time we've gone to the bakery in Ragusa and every time for me, being a celiac, they've found a way to make me consume it, but today we went with my husband who ate a delicious ricotta and spinach scaccia and I ate two excellent and crunchy gluten-free arancini which I recommend you take!
Fast, friendly staff and top cleanliness, not to mention the owner, a very kind person and master teacher!!! Follow her on tik tok you will see some beautiful ones 🤩 see you next time
Stumbled upon a charming cafe with great value, cozy vibes, and plenty of vegan pasta options that surprised everyone in the group!

We were really happy to stumble across this place. Our waiter was super friendly and accommodating. As someone with Coeliac disease, they were aware of the cross contamination risks. I had the gnocchi which was good. My partner had a arancina which was a bit cold and stodgy which was a shame, but for the price of everything it was all good value for money so I’d recommend this place. It was cheap and cheerful.
A hidden gem known for amazing arancini at unbeatable prices, with attentive service that keeps everyone coming back.

Exceptional gluten-free (and non-gluten) arancino. Very good gluten-free cunzato bread. The gluten-free cannoli and cassata (with gluten) are also good.

I can only give 5 stars. In this activity you will find smart, helpful and super welcoming guys (and also attentive to your needs, here I ate my very first GLUTEN-FREE cannoli).
About 40 people showed up without warning and they, kind and welcoming like very few people, made us sit with friendly smiles accompanied by an atmosphere of bilateral light-heartedness.
a warm greeting to Marco and Bartolo, two of the main faces of this place.
Super recommended, if you want to eat/drink well and like good company, La Vela is the place for you!
