My daughter has been here many times raving about their "Reuben" and hash sticks, it's her ultimate favourite, the kind that puts a smile on a teenager! 😀 I now see why! Although I had the single burger & hash sticks, it was delicious & her Reuben left me wanting to come back & try it out for sure! Some menu items cater to dairy free & gluten free too (bonus)! Staff super lovely & cute place. Highly recommend 🙌💓
Cozy spot perfect for a warm brunch escape on chilly days, though the outdoor seating could use some heating for comfort.

Loved that the cabinet had lots of nice gluten free options, esp nice for brunch. It was a freezing cold rainy Saturday lunch and it was not overly busy. The inside area was toasty warm, but the outside covered area was very cold and could benefit from some gas heating as it was an excellent spill over space. A few of our coffee orders got messed up, but the drinks were tasty. A handy place to hang out after a cold netball game.
A cozy spot with a tasty menu and massive omelets, plus great coffee makes it a must-visit for a satisfying meal!

Highly recommend this Cafe, especially for coeliacs. Lovely staff. Knowledgeable about coeliac disease. Appetizing menu! Omelets were delicious and huge! Great value for money. Coffee was good. We will be going back.

I used to love the gluten free seeded sourdough and it was sold fresh. In fact if it was not baked that morning it was half price. Now I'm finding that the Tauranga and Mount Maunganui bakeries are selling old bread. Even today I went to pick up what I thought was a today's bake in Tauranga only to check the expiry dates. One was two days away and the other four. The assistant couldn't even answer when I queried why the supposed fresh breads had two different use by dates and why it wasn't today's bread. The Mount Maunganui branch was selling week-old bread last time I went there. So I will find another provider.
A cool farmhouse vibe with standout dishes, though occasional menu changes and price hikes might surprise regulars.

Usually this place is fantastic all the time, so maybe lots of new staff on and also new menu, so for me being gluten-free and dairy free: I struggled to find something. Prices also appeared to have jumped by $4-5, which was also a surprise. But hey don't let this put you off, it's usually awesome

Love getting my Tai pumpkin soup and gluten free scone or My Bombay potato salad with My coffee they are so good at remembering my order with coffee I don't have to say what I want 💗❤️❤️
My 13yo son, who is coeliac, went up to the counter and asked if the iced chocolate is gluten-free. The two girls behind the counter laughed at him and ridiculed him for asking - asking him if he was "feeling funky" - AND did not check to see if it was, saying we're pretty sure chocolate is fine. We will not be back.
My new favourite place in the Mount. It has a rustic decor and atmosphere. They have quite a few vegan and gluten free options including a huge burger and fries. We had live Jazz music on a Sunday evening. Couldn't have been better. Highly recommended.
Really disappointed. I ordered GF bread and waited ages for my food. Eventually came and I dived in, only for 5 minutes later the waitress to bring me gluten free bread on the side apologizing after I already had a few bites of the regular bread. So many waiters trying to help one table and orders were lost and so much confusion was caused. Food was not amazing and when leaving almost over charged because of their mistake and it was a public holiday and we were charged 15% surcharge but totally not worth it after this experience.
A hidden gem with unique flavors, great coffee, and a friendly vibe that makes you want to return for more tasty experiences.

My wife had heard about this place through a patient of hers and had sent me the link as a place we must try.
We finally got out there on lunchtime. My Coeliac wife was tempted by the Gluten Free sweet treats in the cabinet and I opted for a burger.
We were initially confused as to who was staff in their plain clothes, and there seemed to be quite a few of them, but they were very friendly and polite.
The food was exceptional. We really enjoyed the flavours in both the sweet and the burger, which were quite different to most places we visit.
The coffee was also really good.
We will gladly return to try other dishes on the menu.
