If you haven't had the opportunity to eat at Cafe Desta you are missing out. This restaurant has the best Ethiopian/Eritrean style food around. The food is delicious and the service exceptional. Also if the raspberry almond tart is available TRY IT. It's a gluten free dream. We had one slice and then bought the entire pie. Highly recommend this hidden gem š

Ate it so fast didn't grab a photo. But absolutely delish. One of our favorite weekend breakfast stops when we're near by. I love the gluten free omelette. The smoked tomato has the perfect extra flavor. It's absolutely yum. I tend to stick to one item once I find it, but my husband has tried many different offerings and never a complaint. Highly recommend stop by and take a try. Not sure the bloody Marys are gluten free, but I drool every time one walks by the table. Give it a try.

Great restaurant close to Albertsons and my dry cleaners. Perfect stop after errands. Everyone seems to love it too, very crowded and well staffed. Lots of gluten-free and dairy-free options to choose from on the menu.
I'm going back and sit out on the patio in the shade and soak up the vibes.

Loved dining on this patio - friendly people, live music, fun atmosphere. And they had a clearly marked menu for vegan and gluten free items - everything was delicious. Get the tamales!

Beautiful outside, a wee bit windy šØ Great service. The phenomenal gluten free blueberry-oatmeal pancakes were not made as well as the Bisbee Breakfast Club on Kolb/Carondelet, (pancake batter not cooked and 2nd pancake, ok.) I picked at my pancakes. Had friends from out of town and didnāt want to complain. My colleagues meals were delicious! Next time will say something and of course WILL GO BACK AGAIN ā£ļø

They still got it!
Like many a Tucsonan, I had occasioned Revolutionary Grounds in the before time when they were down on 4th Ave and nobody was afraid of a scratchy throat, but rumor had it they were pushed out by rent increases just before the pandemic and lost to the annals of history. So I was thrilled to learn from my momma that they had since moved into her neighborhood and were basically offering the same fare. I dropped by, ordered a delicious double cap and a gluten free choco bar, and was immediately transported to a better time when left/liberals weren't trying to rebrand Liz Cheney as a hero. Lol
Anyway, the book shelves appear to have grown and the new space is generally inviting. The walls are adorned with art and quotes from the radical intelligentsia, and everything tastes great. They even have a couple corners for the kiddos, which is new, and outdoor seating for the sun and disease-conscious.
I'm really glad these folks survived. I'll definitely go back. You should, too.
Long-time favorite for its freshness and quality, bustling mornings, and must-try items that keep everyone coming back for more!

I love this place! We have been going here for many years and it's always had very high quality food at a reasonable price. There are two things you need to try if you go here. The first item is the eggs. They are so fresh and good! No idea who they get them from but they are the best in town. The other I am reluctantly telling you this becuase they can sometimes be hard to get is the Lebuzz Cookie they are amazing! I think they may be Gluten Free too but do not quote me on it. Sometimes I stray and eat their chocolate cookies as well. It gets very busy in the mornings but they turn over tables pretty fast and you can normally find a place to sit quickly. Anyways, if you like breakfast food eat here! As far as freshness and food they are the best in town. They aren't the cheapest breakfast place but they are very good and still very reasonable. 5 Stars!
The Sage has excellent coffee as well as baked goods, even a few gluten free and vegan options for pastries! The atmosphere is always welcoming and they are open pretty late for a bakery. Many people go there to work on projects or homework and it's encouraged to stay and enjoy yourself. Although, it can sometimes get crowded especially when it's raining outdoors.
They were all very friendly. Being Celiac this is important to me. They now do eggels. Bagel shaped eggs. You can get them with a smear & coffee here is always great.
Expect a cozy spot with creative and unique treats, often bustling with eager fans and a must-try vegan blueberry delight.

I came back a second time for the prickly pear matcha latte-delicious! Also tried the gluten free oatmeal cream pie which was so yummy! Definitely recommend this as a study spot or just to hang out. However the parking lot is small.

Good bacon but each time I visit I am disappointed because the gluten and dairy-free options become more limited. Today I went and was told the gluten-free bread contains dairy, even though I looked at the ingredient list and saw no dairy ingredients. If you're not worried about food allergies, then you're good! However, if you do suffer from food allergies, maybe try somewhere else.

I had the pleasure of ordering from Freddie a blueberry gluten free scone and a London fog! Freddie is so friendly with excellent customer service and accommodations. It was super exciting that they had a gluten free option for us wheat sensitive humans (the scone is so good!). I usually have to look at the baked goods and dream, lol. Their menu with all of their available drinks looked amazing. They also have plenty of non-caffeinated drink options available! Thank you Exo and Freddie!

Fun place with so many choices of different cultures from American to Mexican and Japanese. A friend had this beautiful 22.00 seafood platter with shrimp and baby coconut which was so good. I had 2 keto birria tacos for 5.00 each since I'm gluten free. I ordered 2 and 1 was big enough for lunch and everyone in my group wanted one. Fried cheese is the tortilla for a keto birria taco! Delicious
The best coffee shop in Tucson... Your first visit can be overwhelming but the barista can answer all your questions. You can get coffee or teas, served hot or iced. They have coldbrew, areropress, pour over, and Turkish style coffee. Pastries and cookies (gluten free) are delicious. Lastly, if you look at the back wall to the right, they have a restroom, and it's kept very clean! Oh and let them know it's your first visit... Trust me.

Best coffee and cocktails + cutest decor and gluten free baked goods!!
Great coffee! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about coffee and espresso and they make the perfect cup. Ask them about your favorite cup of coffee, even if it's not on the menu. They will be able to do it perfectly. They also sell gluten-free and vegan pastries!
I love, love, love this place! We visited three times during our vacation as a result :) There are so many amazing drink options and the baked goods (many of which are vegan) are delicious. I had a gluten free, vegan German chocolate donut, which was without exaggeration the best donut I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend.

It's a very great place to relax and enjoy delicious Boba. My friend and I were pleased to find out that they have gluten and dairy free staff with less sweet. I brought some of it home, and my grandkids love it, too. The space was stunning, bright, clean, with amazing decor, and very friendly staff. Definitely will be back.
One of my favorite spots to lurk about downtown. The DEEPER events on Thursday nights are a blessing in the music scene here, with local DJs providing the freshest, dankest house music for FREE!! The drink specials aren't bad either! This is an amazing spot to chill out during the day as well, and they provide many vegan and gluten free options for those of you who don't eat meat. Check it out sometime!
Always friendly. Always space to sit and do a little work between appointments or to meet clients. A few weeks ago went with my son and we sat and chatted over coffee. I looked around at everyone there. such a great and easy environment. I recommend Crave to anyone needing a moment and some delish coffee or quick bites. I am gluten-free. So usually stick with just the coffee, but have been with others who enjoy the pastries.

They have a gluten free bagel! I know that seems like not so exciting to many but for someone who can never get a snack because of gluten allergies with their coffee or drink⦠itās a big deal. I went for the first time yesterday and I was so happy to see the gluten free option and it was the best damn bagel Iāve ever had, flufffffy and warm and a lot of cream cheese which I looooove. Coffee was alright, I def wanna try a stronger roast next time which I will be! Great experience for this girl, thanks for having a gluten free option! New fav coffee place!
3-4 Veg options, all decent, vegans would be welcome to having choices, always nice to see. Quick service, order online system works well. Wish gluten- free and Avocado had a bit cheaper options. I recommend Salams Shawarma(seitan), good serving sizes.
The service was great! We went in thinking I wouldnāt be able to get anything, since Iām celiacs. As he was purchasing his chocolate croissant, I mentioned being gluten free and they said the macaroons were gluten free! Oh my goodness they were delicious!! My husband really enjoyed his chocolate filled croissant too.
