My croissant loving son was diagnosed with celiac disease in September. I almost cried today watching his happiness as he ate a chocolate croissant at Mariposa’s. 💚
A charming spot with a clean, minimalist vibe, perfect for brunch or work, featuring a dog-friendly patio and quality, fresh ingredients.

My friend, who is severely celiac, got very sick here. They say all the food is gluten free, but that’s obviously not true. We looked up everything about this restaurant after she got sick and saw the review of some other person on this site who also got sick. They sell a lot of oats, so that’s probably why she got sick. Cross contamination. Watch out!!! For the not celiac’s, the food is good it just isn’t totally gluten free.
Chill pub vibe with quick service and great outdoor seating makes it a must-visit in the Mission District for a laid-back experience.

Eating and drinking outside is an option and is pleasant. If ordering to go beers or ciders can be ordered as well. Gluten free is offered and is tasty

This place is clean, staff are friendly and the food was tasty! Gluten free bread and vegan options available. I ordered the tofu scramble and added a side of chicken apple sausage ($7) a bit pricey .. but I’d definitely go back to hang out in the outdoor patio area for brunch again.
Experience a vibrant spot packed with an eclectic menu and a huge selection of games, perfect for a fun-filled afternoon with friends or family!

Great board game cafe in SF. Loved that their entire menu is gluten free as someone with Celiac. I had no reaction from the food. I had the Japanese fried chicken sandwich; the chicken and slaw were delicious and flavorful but the waffle had no flavor and kind of felt like just extra breading/carbs. Great selection of board games and no maximum time limit (just a $7 entry fee).
Visitors praise this spot for its perfectly baked treats, consistent quality, and an array of tempting options that keep them coming back.

I was looking for a bakery with gluten free options and this bakery nailed it! The line moved quickly and parking is convenient. I ordered one of every gluten free option. They were so good that I went back the same day to buy more for the road trip down to SoCal. I’ll be back!
Great place, that takes care to provide information to their customers. They had clearly posted signs about changes to their vendors, covid impacts, gluten free/vegetarian information, etc.
Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with outdoor seating, good portions, and high-quality ingredients that keep the crowds coming back.

The Grove is consistently high quality food. Good portions (justifying the prices) and high quality ingredients. Excellent gluten free bread!!
Recently opened a bar so they have a full liquor menu instead of the previous beer and wine only.
We dropped in for an impromptu date night and we’re really pleased! We split the sea scallops and the pork ossobuco. Presentation was very thoughtful and each bite was delicious. Wine was good also! We didn’t plan on dessert, but they brought cream brûlée on the house! I’m gluten free and they had plenty of options. Everything was spectacular! We’ll be back for another date night and I’ll have to check out brunch!
The toasts are EXCELLENT. I have tried all of them.
Egg in the hole is my favourite savoury one.
Ricotta and Jam is my favourite sweet one.
The gluten free bread (adventure bread) is the best GF bread I’ve had.
The building is lovely.
Atmosphere gets a 3 because, they don’t make people leave fast enough after eating at the weekend.
I’ve been standing there multiple times with my food in my hands and nowhere to sit. It is a very awkward experience
They either need to add more seating or move people along that have finished eating.
The Mill would be a clear 5/5 if they fixed this problem.

Food was absolutely delicious. Good gluten free options as I got the corn tortilla tacos. The orange habanero hot sauce was fresh, spicy, and tasty!
Crunchy fries and fresh fish. Would highly recommend on a sunny day.
The wait was around 25-30 minutes but they were very transparent about it.
Outdoor patio seating and good vibes in general.

Solid family owned restaurant. The food is really good . You order at the counter. I highly recommend their coffee - iced and hot are both great.
The best part of Morning Due is the amazing service you get. I am gluten free- they are knowledgeable and ensure I can safely eat. The attention to detail and desire to be welcoming comes from everyone who works at Morning Due.
Health-conscious vibes shine here with a no-frills, well-curated experience, plus a cool art spot just across the street to explore.

Ok little cafe serving up a broad array of varied foods, most of which are of the typical fatty, greasy, saucy and filling type.
FOOD: Great for a filling feed. Among other things, we ordered a salad which appeared to be made up of pre-made not fresh ingredients slathered in dressing. I would call their food a far cry from healthy - however I appreciate that this may be by design/fast food - it's just my heads up to those used to super nutritious fresh salads. I was super impressed to get toasted gluten free banana bread though and would recommend this to others. They also have a range of vegan and vegetarian dishes.
STAFF: Really lovely and considerate. They appeared to be super down to earth and friendly to the locals too - which was really lovely to observe.
INTERIOR: Clean well kept relatively large cafe space with a kitchen that looks like it cooks for thousands so I have no idea why the quality of our food was so low.
ACCESSIBILITY: Wheelchair accessible with toilets on site.
PRICES: Reasonable to a little pricy given the low quality of food.
In a great vibrant area - surrounded by the colour and life of the tenderloin - ample street parking and a minute from bus stops.
OVERALL: ok, if you're walking by - stopped in for a cuppa a few times, wouldn't go out of my way to dine at.
Crepes were tasty, my husband and I both got one and I got the gluten-free (rice flour) crepe, which is $2 extra. Seemed a bit too expensive, especially because it's a modest hole-in-the-wall place. They made the food fresh, there was about a 15 minute or so wait even though we were the only ones there. But then they brought us free spicy pickled veggies, homemade salsa, and a different bubble tea sample for each of us. The crepes were very large, too; it ended up being a lot of food! All in all that was a good experience, not sure if the spicy veggies are standard but other reviewers said they got tea samples, too. While we were there (around the time school gets out) probably at least a dozen teenagers came and at least half of them just hung out, so it got really crowded.
The bubble tea was advertised as $3.00/small & $3.50/large which seems cheap anyway if you did want to splurge for that.
UNIQUE FLAVORS MIXED WITH CLASSICS.
Vegan and gluten free options I got salted caramel chocolate and I tasted every flavor the cake itself was rich, hearty.
$4.25 for an old fashioned donut is s not ridiculous however..these are substantially better way more ‘gourmet’ than the SF donut powerhouse Bobs which is only $1.25
I also loved the space so much I wonder if they allow event hosting it’s spacious and to serve these wonderful gourmet donuts...that’s my kinda party.

Ordered a DBL espresso (which wasn’t amazing or special) but the gluten free nutter butter was great! Creamy butter cream between two soft crumbly cookies. Impressed by the taste and price of spring $3. Nice place to sit inside/outside at near Dolores Park. Service was quick too. I’d say go here out of convenience, not necessarily as a destination while visiting.
Haven't been since covid. No protein alternatives. Neglected to mention the potatoes are grilled with butter. Staff needs to educated more on different diet lifestyle. If you're gluten intolerant they should know what foods have gluten from their menu. If you don't eat animal products they should have alternatives. Never go there again!!!

Cool spot on Saturday morning, I come before I play soccer in the park up the block at 2pm. I get the warm quinoa bowl with fresh fruit ! Bomb I can’t eat gluten so it’s slim pickings for me. There only two small outdoor tables so gotta get there early if you want to sit outside, the tables are community style and kinda tight small space
Great all day breakfast place with amazing freshly squeezed juices. They also cater well to people that are dairy and gluten sensitive. Highly recommend the hangover omelette. The staff is also super nice making a deserved 5 star experience.

The staff are super friendly and there's many gluten-free options available, despite the cafe being small they are careful about preparing things on separate surfaces. Super delicious sandwiches and great coffee!
