Very good breakfast spot for gluten free. Full separate menu with many options. GF food comes out on color coded plates (I think... my table was the only one with colored plates, everybody else had white). I had Benedict with Hollandaise, no issues. Server was knowledgeable
Find a cozy spot with an impressive range of upscale products and a variety of organic, vegetarian, and vegan options to explore.

Remodeled the store, now everything is 30-50% more expensive.
Not as worth it, anymore, especially now that Walmart is carrying popular gluten-free brands...
This cozy spot shines with amazing drinks, unique homemade treats, and a friendly vibe that keeps people coming back for more.

I usually go to the DiTazza off of Padden. I go there on Sundays and also early mornings before work. I absolutely love the staff, the gluten free options and the coffee is really good! Hats off to this cafe and their staff. Will continue to go there often.
A local favorite for relaxed mornings, offering a bustling vibe and a menu packed with delicious, varied options that everyone raves about.

This place is below average in all aspects. I compare all my breakfast places to elmer’s. Hostess/host do not greet you proper and leave people standing at the front with no real direction. The waitress took more than 4 minutes to greet us. I got the gluten free pancakes and sunny side up eggs and it was cold and the a couple pieces of the cakes were hard. I appreciate the gluten free but honestly go to Elmer’s for better service, food, and hospitality
Enjoy unique waffle creations and customizable options in a lively atmosphere, perfect for a delightful breakfast experience with friends!

Stopped here because their website said gf waffles. The waffle was good, but made on a shared griddle. I got sick after eating here, due to cross contamination. Please! Invest in another waffle iron, or don't advertise Gluten free!
Chill spot with a rich espresso vibe, unique seasonal lattes, and a great selection of pastries that keeps locals coming back.

The barista was very distracted while servings. Very limited on gluten free options like they don’t do gluten free oat milk and they didn’t have a ton of coffee syrups. It was okay.
Discover a charming spot with delicious pastries, expertly crafted coffee, and a cozy atmosphere perfect for a relaxed hangout or catching up with friends.

Cute coffee place with delicious coffee. I enjoyed it on the patio, it was much quieter. Loved their gluten and dairy free sweet treats that they had to offer.

I've been going here a few years now, but they've been very inconsistent lately. If you order any food the wait time is going to be a minimum of 15 to 45 minutes. I wish that were an exaggeration, but sadly it's not.
I've ordered the exact same sandwich and drink the last four times I've been here, but there's been something different about my order every time.
I no longer feel safe coming here, since I don't know if I'm going to receive a gluten-free sandwich or not or if my drink is going to contain dairy or not, even though I order it with almond milk. Even putting that aside, the quality has been inconsistent. I've had some amazing mochas here, but the one I got today was so bad I couldn't even finish it.
I hope they can figure out their quality issues.

Wow on ambiance both inside and outside. Inside has vibe of more of the older house cafes you’d find in Portland. Love it! Outside feels like a garden patio. Great summertime dog friendly patio. They have a walk up window outside so you don’t have to worry about what to do with your pup while you order! Now for the quality of drinks and snacks, 5 stars across the board. My husband ordered the salted caramel mocha and he said it was scrumptious. It was served in a large ceramic mug, and I ordered a honey chai. That was absolutely delicious. We also ordered two snacks. The gluten-free peanut butter bar would never have guessed it was gluten-free because it was just soooo good. The salted caramel treat was also delectable. The only reason it’s four star is because the customer service was more like a two star experience. I would say being generous because everything else was completely on point otherwise this would be the most perfect café in Vancouver. For some reason the server was just generally grouchy, and a few of us tried to make her smile, but she was just determined to be unhappy apparently. She was working by herself and maybe was feeling a bit, overwhelmed at the end of a long day. We can’t wait to come back.
Unique brunch spot known for tasty offerings and a nostalgic vibe, though some wish for a wider variety on the menu.

Had a lovely brunch. I had a memory of them having more gluten free offerings in the past, though. I'm not sure if that's a mixed memory or a menu shift. I'd love to see more gluten free breakfast options than omelets again in future but it was very tasty.
A welcoming spot with a helpful shift manager and cheerful baristas, known for its great atmosphere and tempting drink options.

Good coffee beverages , tasty baked goods and such , my complaint is the lack of gluten free baked items , I don't consider a rice Krispy thing an equal to say a lemon loaf 😁
When I saw the difference in size between the excellent grilled cheese sandwich that I had and the excellent although gluten free sandwich my potential business partner had I didn’t know whether I was on some YouTube prank show or whether I had fallen into the wrong side of a telescope.
How do you sit across from someone you are treating to something special and it looks like it comes out of a joke box? You have my sandwich, and then the mini me sandwich! It would have been even more embarrassing if it hadn’t looked so ridiculous as to have been funny. She mentioned the place down the street gives two because the loaves are so much smaller.
Well I have to say, it’s a bad look.
The Chai was good, but it was just lukewarm. I suppose I could have gone back inside and asked to have it warmed up, but first impressions count.
And my impression here is that they’re hip and they’re downtown and that’s enough.
Stop and look at what you’re doing. Make that chai hot. Make those portions equal.
Go the extra mile.
So here is my edit and response…
Thank you for responding to my review, although it kind of goes to prove my point.
Regarding the chai… One does not sit down and gulp ones chai all at one go. So making it warm is kind of pointless. I don’t rush to my table and drink it all at once. I want to sit and savor it. By the time I got that to the table. It was just warm by the time I’ve had a few sips. It was lukewarm, no one likes lukewarm chai. By the time I had talked to my friend for a few minutes it was cold, and cold chai is disgusting. I learned to make chai from a North African governess in 1973 and have been making it ever since.
One does not sit down and gulp their beverage boiling hot, but rather waits for it to reach the proper temperature. Exactly like any fine tea.
And concerning the ridiculous size difference of the gluten free bread.
Instead of saying you get that it looks stupid but that’s the choice you make, you could say you hear the customer and are continuing to seek a better answer. But what you do is just say, we’re great.
But that plate is still an embarrassment for someone taking out a prospective business partner and doesn’t reflect well on your business. Whatever your reason is.
A charming, locally-sourced organic coffee shop that's a refreshing break from the chain stores.

This place is lovely ❤️ the macarons are beautifully done and delicious, the rest of the food is beautifully plated, the ambiance is perfect for relaxing and clearing the mind, and even the demeanor of the staff is calming, soft, feminine and hospitable and they always go out of their way to make sure people feel welcome and taken care of. They do all of their toasts and sandwiches gluten free as well upon request. It’s super pink — totally the type of place a girls girl would go to be in her element 😂 🍓👠🛍️🥂
Enjoy a lively atmosphere with generous portions, a lovely selection of options, and delicious, flavorful choices that keep folks coming back!

We engaged Foode to provide lunch in the beautiful VIC for a day-long seminar held for 90 senior citizens. We got nothing but compliments about the beverage service and lunchboxes of either salads or sandwiches with chips, plus cookies for dessert. In fact, one attendee who thought I was connected to the catering asked whether I could give him the recipe for the cookie he ate!
The portions were generous and my sandwich was both nutritious and delicious! We were easily accommodated with vegetarian, vegan, & gluten-free options to meet all the needs of our participants. I highly recommend Foode for your luncheon catering needs!
The drinks are always made to perfection and they spent the time to double check which pastries were gluten free, which is super important to do. Honestly, this is the most friendly, upbeat Black Rock I have ever been to. Haylee is always super energetic which definitely helps my morning grumpiness! Also, they are always playing good music haha go grab a coffee, you wont be disappointed.

Great at what they do, always fast, their Matcha is to die for! This is one of the first coffee places where I found staff who knew what "gluten free" meant and could tell me what options were available.
