Really nice staff and vibe here. It’s so hard to find spots that compare to service and standards of Vancouver and Wooden Spoon does not disappoint!
We came for a birthday lunch/brunch and it was pretty busy for a weekday.
The service was great. The food was delicious and the drinks were great.
We are vegan + gluten free and dairy free + gluten free so there isn’t too much for us on the menu, but that’s ok. Unfortunately in 2024 it’s still a struggle to find restaurants that cater to non soy + gluten eating vegans + dairy free peeps.
I would definitely come here again. It’s seems like a really awesome local spot to have some awesome food and drinks!

The service felt uninvited, but still good at filling my water when empty. I couldn't tip much because they didn't over exceed my expectations in service, but the cooks, made big size portions, perfect nutrition balance, almost no ingredients that my body would fight against ; gluten, processed chemicals, good eats. Just service was lacking a bit. Could have been a full 5 stars.

CONSIDER ME SHOOK. I just ate probably the best food I have ever had at a café AND ITS VEGAN?! YOU MEAN IT WONT HURT MY STOMACH?! AND YOU CAN GET IT GLUTEN FREE?! Never going to another coffee shop ever again consider me a customer for life. The owners Ben & Mannel are the most incredible kind people and it reflects in their staff. The fact I’m eating an almond croissant right now and it’s vegan. Again… just absolutely blown away from the amount of options they have for people with dietary restrictions !! Wow, that is most fresh and soft pizza crust I have ever had. Whole family just loved their pizza. The ingredients are organic, fresh and delicious with gluten free options. The staff were so accomodating and pleasant we will be ordering here regularily from now on. This pizza place is part of OJAS they have a wonderful menu of fresh bowls/salads and smoothies. We had a party of four. My husbands steak was rare, he ordered medium, one persons steelhead was partly uncooked, the lamb looked lovely. I have celiac disease, and phoned ahead to check protocols, I chose a gluten free meal, but sadly was glutened, and will suffer for it.

I went in to ask about gluten free options (celiac disease) and they were so helpful! Everyone was happy to answer all my questions, and assure me of little risk of cross contamination. I left the shop and came back later to get ice cream, and when I went to browse the flavours again, they had been kind enough to move the gluten containing flavours to their own section (which was so considerate). I sampled a few flavours, pistachio, London fog, and stracitella, and man they were delicious. Amazing taste, amazing service, 11/10 I will definitely be going back!

Beautiful place. We were told to grab our menus from the counter and order at the counter. But then other people were brought the menus and received table sevive when placing their orders. We ordered the pakorahs and they were raw in the middle. We also ordered the Kathi roll which has a gluten free sign beside it on the menu and when we recieved it the server said we didn't specify gluten free it's an option that has to be requested. We also asked for mild and was assured she can do that and it was so spicy we could not eat it and just asked for to go containers. My friend had the crossaint and love it. And my sister had the avocado toast and said it was good as well... so just be specific, expect spice in the indian food and enjoy the beautiful environment and view
