A hospital visit in Renfrew led me to their gem of a restaurant and store. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable and the food excellent. I spent time in the store afterwards, finding items I hadn’t been able to locate in Ottawa and vowed to return in the summer for a day trip. I took the scenic drive back to Stittsville via Packenham, Appleton and Almonte. (Amazing sights with the spring thaw, waterfalls and high water levels. A great day out). Looking forward to going back to Bonnechere Bakery and Bistro which is everything a person on a restricted diet longs for. Gluten free, dairy free and vegan options made this a diner's delight.
