I tried contacting the pizzeria twice (once by email, once via Facebook), unfortunately without success. Here's my experience: I visited the pizzeria on Saturday, May 3rd, at noon for my birthday with my family (3 adults, 2 children). Since I have celiac disease myself, I called that morning to inquire about the issue of gluten. The manager made me feel comfortable and reassured, so I ordered a gluten-free Hawaiian pizza on the spot. Before ordering, we emphasized the need for gluten-free pizza. The pizza was very tasty. However, in the evening and throughout the night, I experienced severe nausea and vomiting. Overall, I had severe nausea and vomiting for a week and symptoms of the gluten accident for over 1.5 weeks. Something like this has never happened to me before, and I've never felt so bad. Not at other restaurants in/around Hanover, nor abroad, nor on our various trips. I have officially been affected by celiac disease for exactly 10 years now. My birthday party went accordingly. I would like to use this opportunity to point out the problem so that I can review your gluten-free offerings and go through the individual steps in more detail. This will prevent future guests with celiac disease/an intolerance from having to experience the same suffering. I personally cannot recommend the restaurant, at least not for people with an intolerance or even celiac disease. POSTSCRIPT: As mentioned, I tried to contact you in writing in advance via two different channels (via email and via Facebook) to share my negative experiences and inform you about them, so that I could review the procedures again! I find it questionable that this had to be done by phone. My attempts to contact you were unsuccessful! We were all in good health. All four other guests had no problems after eating (no other celiacs). So it couldn't have been the food itself. It was definitely a severe gluten incident. It is very questionable that this is not being treated this way or is being played down here now!

We went there without a reservation and still got a seat. It's definitely better to make a reservation, especially on weekends. The food was excellent. Gluten-free options are safe and easy, and the staff are knowledgeable. I had no problems afterward.

Very tasty crepes, waffles and pancakes, but also some savory dishes on offer. Everything is very tasty and filling (and super sweet). Most things are also available in vegan or gluten-free versions. The service is top and the prices are right.

The best ice cream for miles around – and it's lactose-free, gluten-free, and organic! We visited the ice cream parlor today and were absolutely thrilled. This small but very fine ice cream parlor impresses not only with its cozy atmosphere, but above all with its outstanding quality. The owner is super friendly, and you can immediately feel the love and passion that goes into making it. We were particularly impressed that all the ice cream is lactose-free, gluten-free, and organic – unfortunately, that's rare these days, but a huge plus for us! My husband had a pistachio cup – it was simply heavenly: creamy, nutty, and incredibly delicious. I chose the melon, pineapple, and multi-vitamin flavors. All three were extremely delicious, but I would especially like to highlight the pineapple – it's sourced from Italy and was a real explosion of flavor. I've never tasted such an authentic, fruity pineapple in ice cream form before. My absolute highlight, however, was the multi-vitamin – I've never tasted anything like it before. Fruity, fresh, perfectly balanced – simply sensational! The price-performance ratio is also absolutely spot on. Anyone looking for truly exceptional ice cream that's also made sustainably, healthily, and with the finest ingredients should definitely stop by here. From now on, this is definitely our first choice when it comes to ice cream!

The "gluten-free" food wasn't actually gluten-free. This can be dangerous for people with gluten-free celiac disease, so this should be improved so that people with gluten-free celiac disease can enjoy good, gluten-free food without fear!
